Chapter 4: Worms
Violet woke up and automatically hated the new day.
She immediately remembered what had occurred yesterday. She was torn and afraid, but sadly most of all confused. What was she supposed to do now?
She opted for the most practical approach: procrastination. She finally forced herself to rise and carry on her day as if nothing unusual had occurred. While she was fixing up a small breakfast for herself and the boys she thought about her course of action. The Piner had made it clear enough: tell her father about the political alliance and she would be putting her mothers safety at sake. Obviously silence was Violets only option.
Only for now, of course.
That said, Violet took sadistic pleasure in using her frustration in rousing her brother. The little insectwho was turning out to not be so little anymore [height dominance]usually roused long before his older sister, but today that was not the

A/N: So as not to spoil the chapter, 21 pages, by the way, the real author's note shall be at the end. This is just going to be a bunch of thank-you's. Because what would fanfiction be without the reviewers!?! Fyi, I went back and read all the comments that I have been given over the course of the entire fic, and made comments concerning those. Yes, I'm not that random.
All Anonymous Reviewers: Thanks for all the reviews, guys. Keep on reading even if you don't have an account. You guys really gave me some of the most encouraging comments!!
auri mynonys: Wow… my first reviewer. All I can think of is when you alerted me to the fact that I called Lucius "Luscious" lol! Thanks for sticking with the story this whole time!! Also for writing your own Synlet, which I find amazing!!! Your encouragement has been very uplifting and your advice helpful!!
Blackheartz: I'm glad you like it. We need more people getting into Synlet, l

A/N: First this chapter is 23 pages long, so my suggestion is if you don't have time, don't start, lol!! Oh, yeah, Syndrome makes a minority joke in the middle somewhere. Please don't take offense to it. I myself am a minority - I am a Native American - and just thought it would be in character for Syndrome to do that. Also, due to not wanting to spoil the chapter, I have left my rant until the end. So, read, review, and all that jazz. I also don't own Rambo and probably many other copyrighted things in this chapter.
Timeline: Syndrome's trial took one year. Then his house arrest was for four months. I'm guessing that Syndrome was eight when he attempted to become Incrediboy. So during the movie I'm saying that he was twenty-three. I'm also considering that the movie took place during spring. (They did go to a track meet) So Violet had just finished her eighth grade year and was going to be a freshman. Now a year and fo
