Rarity and Pinkie Pie are staring deep into your soul...
My first My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic vector, and I made it a wallpaper. As difficult as the gradients can be for Rarity's mane, I found the background to be the hardest part. Simply because I had to guess at the colors to make it a bit more vibrant than the screenshot.

Ever read a good book outdoors? This wallpaper came as quite a bit of a surprise. After the horror of that Fluttershy wallpaper, I was going to take a break. Then for some reason, I started work on this one. Maybe because Twilight Sparkle is my favorite of the ponies. Enjoy the wallpaper!
Fluttershy's P-Team wallpaper! I would have had this sooner, but I had this silly little incident where my power went out and I didn't save a work in progress, so I had to start all over from scratch! Oh well, it was worth it.
While watching the final episode, I was like "Woah..." when I saw this on my screen. Next thing you know, I open Inkscape and get to work.
This marks even more milestones for me, as while using some traces for the rough sketch, applying lots of freestyle while being close to the show and surviving a huge amount of patience, trial and error, rage... I started using Layers!! By my manly beard, I don't know what I've been missing all this time! It's so much easier.
SVG file [link]. Enjoy. As always, comments highly encouraged.
"Fun" Facts: No. of Objects: 500 (not bad...) No. of Nodes: 3405...(could be more...right?) Time taken : 3 days (I work slowly, sorry) Export time 30 minutes (was expecting 30 hours, but ok)
I have been sitting on this one for a while now trying to make those legs look better, but that just isn't happening... As it turns out, that is a very uncommon pose and Luna has weird legs. But yeah, have some Princess Moonbutt.
And I almost decided to make this be Luna regretting her actions as Nightmare Moon, but I decided that I probably wouldn't be able to get the right emotions for that to work right. After I get back into vectoring and can actually do a decent job at it I may go back and make a new version since I like the idea.
Edit 1: Oh my god I forgot her wings...that will be fixed soon And after many ponyscape crashes, it is fixed. Edit 2: And it didn't export properly when I did that...fixed again
I love Photo Finish's design, as well as her background music, even if that got tedious after a while. The one thing I dislike about her is obviously her personality. She failed to recognize Rarity's hard work.
I was hoping to make it a TF2 spray but I was busy napping and didn't finish it in time for a session to use it. Oh well, there's still tomorrow!
Of all the CMC, Scootaloo seems like the one who would most likely be a trouble maker. Why? Just look at almost every screencap taken of her, and she has the most adorable expressions out of the three. That, and she seems to take after Dash. (possibly mentored by Dash?)
Note: I apologize for the small messed up portion on her visible ear on the .svg. When I load it into Illustrator, it's not there. It may just be me, but, I apologize nonetheless.
I promised a friend I would do a Derpy Hooves vector after my Princess Celestia vector. Rainbow Dash was used as a base for this!
I was on the bus and watching an episode off of my iPad and decided to do a little sketching while I was waiting. It originally was going to be Rainbow Dash as a vector trace once I got home, but, I kept messing up on her eyes and the eraser marks were so bad I flipped out and winged it. After I resketched it, it looked more like Derpy than Dashie. So, here you all are! Enjoy your daily dose of Derpy Hooves!
Derpy Hooves and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic belong to Lauren Faust/Hasbro.
For people who want to use this for their own channel/stream: I made this to promote my let's play channel (link above) so to avoid any name or brand confusion, it's not a good idea to let others use it for their own channel/stream.
///Some MLP:FiM fan artwork This piece featuring Rarity & snoring Dragon scene played in "Dragonshy" episode from the first season of "My Little Pony: Friendship is magic" series. I tried to make it look like some fairy/fantasy illustration. No textures/refs/postprcessing, pure colors only. It was wild. Failed or not - at least I faced no dragons. Neither piles of gold)
If you like pony crossovers join Gastly (little son), haunter (mother) and gengar (father) in MLP style
I was looking forward to this family, my first ghost type ponikemon! I also enjoyed by the large presence of purple and blue tones with these pokemon, my favorite is definitely Haunter decided to put wings ^ ^ Gastly is not only very well that I did not like their parents were so to leave them alone xD
Not really much else to say. I'm pretty upset, but I will still do weekly vectors throughout the summer BUT THE EPISODE WAS AWESOME. OH MY GOD. Probably my favourite to date, it just felt like a massive story because of the two parter.
This took literally 7 hours. I don't even know why. It's probably one of my biggest vectors yet, considering it has all the Mane 6, and I've only done one of those Overall, there is 190 layers. Hope you guys enjoy this one! Yet another wallpaper because, well, that was my intention. 1920x1080, post a comment if you want me to switch it around for you
WARNING: Full size is HUGE. 10000x5626px 10MB Preview size is 1280px for your computer's safe being. BUT Original size download IS interlaced. This means the image starts with low quality and gets better as more information is gathered from the site. This is easier for computers to handle. If you download the full size image and the image itself pops up in a new tab it'll look jagged at first, but it loads in just a matter of seconds.
Please ask permission first before you use this for anything else than as wallpaper.
Now, time for some trivia: Remember that huge image I might have mentioned a LOOONG time ago? Yeah... this is not that one. Instead, this is the image I mentioned some time ago saying I only worked on it when I was travelling with the train. I kept my word and it's finally done. Well... it actually misses a stack of books, but it's such a pain in the plot to vector those, that I left them out for now.
I didn't save it just yet, instead I hibernated my laptop till I got home. I eventually saved the file and it almost deep-fried my RAM(94%) and CPU(63%).
But here it is, available for you and about to be submitted to EqD. EDIT: EqD doesn't take vectors. : /
I enjoyed vectoring this. It's a great way to pass time.
Oh yeah, I only got to work on this if there were two seats next to each other available for me. The seats have these foldaway tables on the backside. I used one for my laptop and the other for my mouse. This decreased the number of chance for me to do this in the train.
One more thing. The vector I made is pretty much ripped from this huge image.
Here's a high quality vector image of a scene from the new episode, and it's wallpaper sized! The folder includes various resolutions, along with isolated vectors of just the ponies, for whatever you want to use them for.
Yay Power Strokes!! Pretty much all of the strokes in this entire vector were done using power strokes, which is a feature of the unreleased Inkscape 0.49 similar to AI's stroke width tool. It's a little unruly at times, but I was starting to get the hang of it as I finished up the vector. Not sure I'll be using them for all of my vectors in the future, but they're definitely a handy thing to have in my vectoring toolbox
So here's pinkie singing about her days at the orph... I mean, berating Applejack with silly words until she tells the truth as to why she left ponyville. This vector took a bit longer since I was fiddling with power strokes. I hope it turned out ok!
As always, feel free to critique, and I hope you like it! Svg can be found here (I think you need to be using a nightly build of Inkscape 0.49, at least to view the vector with power strokes): [link]
If you do use this (or any of my other artwork), please let me know so I can check out what you make with it!
Thought I've give group vectors a go. This one was a little time consuming but possible. I might do more of these soon but I'm gonna need a vector that doesn't look cut out. I now take point commissions by the way. the rules are at the bottom of my deviantID.
PS i'd forgone the supernova for this picture because i can't get it to work right. and i've forgone the background because They are not wallpapers (I've made 3 exceptions thought).
