Gargoyles Future: BeginningMore Like This
Over a thousand years ago, superstition and the sword ruled
It was a time of darkness, a world of fear and an age of gargoyles
Stone by day, warriors by night, we were betrayed by humans we were sworn to protect,
Frozen in stone by a magic spell for a thousand years.
Now we are reawakened in Manhattan, when a man named David Xanatos brought us and our sacred home to this strange land, filled by strange people and customs.
But we made a friend, Elisa Maza, a detective who is sworn to protect the people of the city from evil doings and a special woman who reminds us that not all humans are bad. Each time I see her, she brings me and my clan comfort and friendship when nobody else would.
Demona, once called my angel of the night, is responsible for the death of our clan. Had I known far too long ago that she deeply hated humans and wished to bring an end to humanity so gargoyles would r

Elisa walked up the steps of the large stone tower as the sun began to set. She opened the large wooden door and leaned on the wall. Cracks began to form on the seven stone Gargoyles lined up on the ledge before her.
She held her hand up to block shards of stone that flew around her in a flurry as the Gargoyles broke free of their daily prison. She brushed some flecks and dust off of her red jacket and crossed her arms,
"All right guys, I need your help with some police business tonight." She stated in a serious tone.
Goliath stepped off his pedestal, "How can we help?"
Elisa pulled out a picture from her inner jacket pocket, and

The slivery light of the full moon shined down onto snowy grounds of the Scottish highlands. The branches off the trees were leafless and filled with snow. The weight of the snow causes a few of the branches to fall to the snowy ground. All was peaceful. At least it was a few moments ago.
Near a cave, hidden near the coastline, the snow was covered in the red blood of Humans and the creatures known as Gargoyles. The sound of swords clanging, the splintering of wooden shields, spears, and arrows, and screams of pain filled the wintery night air.
A few Gargoyles, male and female, each one looking different from each other, take to the air to over turn the battle. However, the humans they were fighting against were not the usual mob they were use to fending off. These humans were Hunters, skilled in the so-called art of slaying Gargoyles.
Using crossbows and bows, the Hunter shot down a couple of Gargoyles to their

Goliath: I see no walls to guard the city. How you protect it from invaders?
Elisa: Well, our biggest worries aren't from outside. They from are inside.

November 10, 1994. New York. 2:05 am
On the streets of New York, all appears to be quiet, but appearances are deceiving. In Danny's Electronics store there is a "closed" sign, but this does not mean abandoned.
Inside the store you can see all kinds of appliances and electronic parts, but

Beautiful lanterns had been hung in the courtyard giving the festivities a warm glow. The food and whine was endless as castle servants busied themselves refilling goblets and bearing trays mounded with fresh quail and turkey. Minstrels sang their thanks to the gods for keeping them safe while children ran about with wooden swords fighting off invisible enemies.
However much nobody wanted to think of them however, the presence of the Gargoyles on the far side of the yard did not go unnoticed. There was a sizable gap between the two parties, one that neither species dared cross except for a few brave drunks and even fewer human friends.
"Go on now, bring them their food, before they decide to come over here and eat us up instead!" The head servant pushed her newest recruit forward clutching a large cart of food and drink for the Gargoyles.

You leaned on the balcony railing, and looked out across the town of Manhattan, out into the night. You watched as the stars twinkled on, one by one, and wondered when your shining star would arrive. Just as you were thinking this, a bright red face popped up in front of you from above and long white hair tumbled behind it.
"Boo!" it shouted.
You gasped and for a moment everything was confusion until you recognized the face.
"Brooklyn! Don't surprise me like that!" He only chuckled and climbed down from his upside-down position on the roof and onto the railing here he squatted "Did I frighten you?"
"No!" you said turning defensively away. "You just startled me is all."
"Uh huh." he said as he stepped off the railing and onto the cement balcony. "So what's up?" he asked, turning you to face him again.
"Not much" you confessed as you took in his kind face and beautiful wings, which were folded up around him like a cape.
"Wanna go for a flight?" he asked.

As the light faded you could feel the atmosphere change around you. The palace guards became tenser, knowing that this was a vulnerable moment. The very air around you seemed to be sucked into a vortex of uncertainty and wonder as hairline cracks began to make their way up the sides of the massive gargoyles which adorned the castles towers. The sun finally dropped. It was beginning!
Loud tremors seemed to shake the castles very foundations as gigantic creatures erupted from their stone slumber. Their nightly cries cascading down from the castle top, and rumbling far out into the valleys.
Then just as suddenly the roaring stopped and the creatures relaxed and greeted their friends and brethren.
You sighed as the shift changed, the humans retiring for the evening and the Gargoyles preparing for thei

Author’s Notes/Disclaimer: Welcome to my first long story. At the first it will be a novel but later look like a series of short stories. The reason for the title “The Manhattan Clan Saga” is so I can write about their lives since the final show. This way so if I decide to ever stop writing, I won’t leave an unfinished story. It will deal with romance, drama, and comedy. But it will not deal with rape or major violence. I hope this isn’t too sappy.
The beginning is in the middle of summer and since sunset is around 9ish...ah you will get it soon
Chapter additions - I came up with a name for a New York TV station, YFB. So no flames.
