I cannot help but admit I was listening to George Carlin's routine on "Stuff" while I was making this. I wanted to make him lifting something, but I didn't know what. Then that's when I heard, "...I needed to find a place to put my stuff, and I don't know about you, but I need a place to put my stuff!" And that's when I decided, "He'll be lifting... stuff!"
Here's Andre again, the big red muscle fox that belongs to my dear sis Elly :newberrychucksicon:
He's having a can of the own energy drink creation that , and I created, it's much better than Monster Energy, even if those taste quite well too.
And as you see, not only the background shows mountains, but also Andre himself shows a mountainous peak to tease the viewers while he cools down by enjoying his drink. ;3
It's one of the few rare pics I actually drew on A3 sized paper (around 11,8 x 17 inch / 420x297mm)
I will never use sketchpad paper again though, no matter if it is actually quite sturdy, it is a real marker ink killer XP
Anyways, I used a photo reference that Elly showed me so I could draw the mountains so they'd look like actual mountains =3 The picture is completely copic-marker-colored, only the white highlights and clouds are done with acrylic paint. ^^
I hope you all like it
Art is (c) to me, Andre is (c) to Claw is (c) of Elly, Eric and me
Hey guys! As you might remember, many years ago I designed some cat eared headphones in which the cat ears work as functional speakers for sharing music with your friends. And of course the speakers can be turned off for private listening too. The designs received a lot of public support but I lacked the time and resources back then to turn them into a reality. However, I’m happy to announce that we are very close to making these headphones come to life.
My friends and I have been working very hard over the past year in preparation. We’ve found the factory, went through countless negotiations, worked on refining the design, and now we’re just need the funding.
We’ll be releasing more drawings and details as we get closer to opening our Kickstarter crowd funding campaign, so keep your eyes open!
In other news, I'll be at Fanime Con this May 23 - 26th, 2014, at the San Jose McEnery Convention center in California. As usual, I'll be in the artist alley at table 1213 come by and say hi! And thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes! <3
A quick tut of "Celestial Dragon", as I suggested in the full images. [link]
It was kinda thrown together but I think you can get an idea of what I was trying to say. I don't really do these tutorials, so bear with me. I thought I just share what I learned from this guy. I have/do apply the armature techniques to my sculptures. I only once did the stick figure frame, that was Norse [link] , he was originally was out stretched as if leaping. As you see, he sagged considerably under his own weight... he also took 2 packs of Sculpey. A little more wire saved me 1-3/4 packs of Sculpey... just saying
The CATerpillar was first discovered in 1976 in the african jungle. These extraordinary creatures eat flowers, smaller beetles, mice, honey and also vegetables and fruits. Through smuggling the CATerpillar found its ways finally to America, where it is seen after thunderstorms, eating the goodies of the farmers gardens. Domesticated, the CATerpillars are great pets, but should not share a household with more then one more CATerpillar, because of rival fights!
CATerpillars lay their eggs under branches of bushy trees, where the KITTENpillars hatch out after 2 weeks. There is no visible difference between male or female CATerpillars.
*edit* I'm sorry about the typos, contest this was for ended today and I am potty training a puppy and a 2 year old sooo... yeah. lol a couple typos
WOW what a lot of work I did this weekend lol Combined the doll and tutorial took me about 18 hours. I know a lot of doll artists aren't going to appreciate this tutorial because as a whole we're very tight lipped about methods. Considering we're all thriving in an art community, I feel this is a bit closed minded. Also these are so complicated that the idea that someone with no experience in all of the many different aspects of art you have to master to complete one single doll is going to come along and start pumping out high quality business stealing pieces is a bit laughable. That being said, I am ALWAYS happy to "talk shop" with peers or answer questions from beginners. We all start somewhere, lets make sure it's on the right foot! This doll is available for purchase, I am considering trying ebay again since everyone can see the amount of work it really takes to build these majestic creatures.
Someone recently commissioned me to msake something out of minky. Now I've never used minky before so I thought it was probably a good idea to practise a little, so I made Hoothoot. He's come out pretty well so I think I can nail this commission now.
I apologize to non-Pokemon fans again for spamming you with these! I've just been exhausted, so I haven't been working on more challenging things, but still, I wanted to work on SOMETHING to keep sane. And sorry to those who might have wanted a pattern for this one.. I was too tired to take notes (the tail was too complex anyway) and just wanted a mental break. He's pretty similar to my Squirtle pattern anyway
Edit: was kind enough to share her Wartortle tail and ear pattern here!
A macro shot of a tiny teapot of mine, and some playing cards. If you couldn't tell, I'm more than a little obsessed with Alice in Wonderland. I couldn't be happier with my new Canon Rebel, and look forward to many, many more pictures with it in the future!
Feedback is always very helpful for me- feel free to leave a comment or critique!

I thought I use the nice weather and make new shots of my papercrafts in the garden.
______ I modified a 3D model made [link] so that I could make a papercraft out of it.
It is made out of 70 pages of 300 g/m2 paper, the paper was 32x45 cm
The finished model is 127 cm tall, that is 50 inches, or 4 feet 2 inches...
As I promised, you can download all 70 pages I did for this model, so you can do it yourself. Download rar: [link] Download zip: [link]
To make it even easier for you to look up where every part belong, download the free "Pepakura Viewer" from [link] and open this file [link] within this viewer, it helps a lot. "....." are valley folds / "-----" are montain folds /
It takes more time then skill... it took 250+ hours. If you want to do it yourself, you can ask me for advice and I try to help you.
She is finally finished and it took me only 4 month She is made out of paper and is 95 cm high (to the top of her hair, her ear is a bit higher), that is 37,5 inches, and so she is bigger then I am when I am sitting. I will make a 360° gif in the next days, so you can see her from all sides.
Attention: this is a not textured model, since the texture maps where broken I did not bother to go though all the work to make them happen (well I used the colors, that you dont see in my model because b/w print, so all that is missing are her eyes and her cutie mark), and her right wing was not connected after importing it in pepakura. If you want to paint the model after folding like me that is no problem at all, you just have to notice that the right wing in inverted as a model (so the colored side is INSIDE the wing). If you want to have a textured model, maybe you or someone else can work better with textures then me, so here is the 3d model from blender dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42… and a .obj from it dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42…
I thought I use the nice weather and make new shots of my papercrafts in the garden.
_____ She is about 103 cm high (to the top of the hair), that is 3 feet 4 inch. It is made out of 42 pages of 300 g/m2 paper, the paper was 32x45 cm. I modified a 3D model made fav.me/d3k5wig so that I could make a papercraft out of it. If you want to make your own, go on, do it. Attention: There is a little color failture in the papers at Pinkie left ear, it looks like that: znegil.deviantart.com/art/colo… If you paint the model with acrylic paint anyway, like I did, go on and print out there papers here and save additional time: dl.dropbox.com/u/421985/Projek… "....." are valley folds "-----" are mountain folds and here is the .pdo file you can open with pepakura: dl.dropbox.com/u/421985/Pinkie…
If you don´t want to paint the model, here is the color corrected .pdo file: dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42… But this is not sorted yet in Pepakura, I don´t have the time to do that for something I dont need anymore. But good news is that this is a easy process in "Pepakura Designer", it is explained here in a video from me: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1H9S1q… It would be a good idea to buy pepakura designer first, or you cant save your project or export it... only print it directly... I guess you could install pdf printer and export it that way... but it is not that expensive. Here is the Pepakura site: www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en… If you need advice, just ask.
Just trying out angles, but then this one looks like the other Leon pic.XD *bricked* So uh...I guess I could ask opinions about the angle and the anatomy from that angle.
Originally, I was going for a big speaker background, referring to a part in the 4th Megaman BN game, but then the speaker was supposed to be gigantic and uncertainty struck.OTL So....this would be a referral to another part in the same game, in the mines.
Thanks for giving the chance to draw 'em, I've been wanting to do fanart of the series, but never got around to it.XDD
