Some thanks!I felt like sharing a few (of many) artists who have been in some way an inspiration to me or my work. Artistically, that is. There are many other users who have given me inspiration, but these people's art or art styles I love!More Like This
Disclaimer, 'favourite friends' and 'favourite artists' are two very different things, do not go thinking silly thoughts.
You should check each of them out at great length xD

Guys. I cannot express to you how important each of you are to me. I know I don't personally go to profiles and thank people for a watch like I used to, but allow me the opportunity here to thank you with the bottom of my heart that we got to this point because of you. I could have posted my art and you didn't have to fave, comment, or watch me because of it. You chose to. People didn't have to post my art on reddit, tumblr, derpibooru, and even EQD, but people did. Why? Because they felt my art was worth sharing.
You guys made it happen and while other artists may have thousands of watchers, know this: I do my best to be humble. I don't gloat to people that I am popular or want to be. I don't make pictures just because I want them to get views. For those of you who have been with me for the long haul, you guys know that every single piece of artwork I have made has been for free. I am open to reuses and am ver
Conquer your artblockI think every artist out here has experienced it at least one time in their career: the so called artblock. A moment of total lack of inspiration that suddenly hits you, and leaves you unable to create. Most often the solution is to just wait. Most artblocks will solve automatically with time. But there are circumstances in which an artblock doesn't automatically disappear, or when you have deadlines to catch. In that case, you might be helped by some basic tips to conquer your artblock.More Like This
Over the years, I've experienced an artblock (or writersblock, as they call it for fiction writers) many, many times. Most of them were short, but the longest lasted over 2 years. Most of them solved on their own. But sometimes I just needed that little bit of extra help. Therefore, I made a list with a few tips and tricks to make your artblock go away. Hopefully it'll help you as well as it did me.
Beat your fear
Most artblocks come from fear. The fear of not being able to

Molestia is not Harmless"A letter directed at defenders of Molestia:More Like This
I don't mean to sound accusatory here; I understand that it's easy to fall into this line of thinking, of "Oh this is okay, I can laugh at this" because of how certain actions are portrayed in fiction.
I, myself, once upon a time, thought it was really funny when a girl "agressively flirted" with an unwilling boy (i.e. the Kanker Sisters of Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy)... until I learned that females could sexually harrass males. And not only that, but many people will either ignore or laugh off real-life cases of female-on-male sexual abuse. Now I can't watch episodes of EEnE with the Kankers without feeling sick.
Yes, morally ambiguous - even downright depraved - characters can be done right. Dr. Venture and Beetlejuice are just the first examples to immediately come to mind. The same can even go for hilariously monstrous villains like the Joker; or hell, even Discord prior reformation.
But in my book, there are a

Ponies sporting belly tattoos, or even drawing something on their belly via marker!
Welcome to our groups' first Artwork Event, everyone As our last journal hit upon, these short-term, fun little art creation blogs serve to promote artwork creation of whatever given concept has been given, so that anyone with the time can make an art piece around that subject In the spirit of improving your own works, one artwork at a time, as well as offering our community a fun event that artists and non-artists can both enjoy.
Draw a pony with a drawing or tattoo of your choice, around or next to their belly button If it's not a tattoo, they can be in the process of drawing it on themselves, or it can be already completed, so that they can show it off to the viewer. Can be canon character, OC, regul
This is why you (and your art) get ignored.People often get the sense of being ignored in the art-scene, especially here online. We all try so hard to get our foot in the door, it's like trying to stuff yourself in an overfull bus like a sardine in a can.More Like This
Sometimes you just want to socialize with other artists you admire and you seem to be talking into a brick wall or perhaps you've send your portfolio to a company over a dozen times and still don't even seem to get the smallest response or feedback. I will try and tell you WHY you get ignored and HOW you can get noticed instead.
I will go through the following cases of being ignored:
Do know, that even though being ignored feels very personal it's hardly ever personal at all!
Your comment(s) gets ignored.
It happens ever so often. You notice an artwork or a discussion and you weigh in with your opinion or admiration, perhaps even some feedback? T

1k Watchers Milestone!More Like This
Hurrah hurrah, everypony! As of earlier this afternoon, we hit 1k watchers, and with it our first milestone to becoming a sizable community! The promotion of pony belly buttons has dusted itself off from obscurity, and is starting to be seen by more and more bronies and other pony fans, both on DeviantART itself, and beyond!
In the coming weeks and months, accompanying the regular invitations will be even more plans for advertising Our new mod, PloxyPony, is involved in not only numerous brony conventions, but is also in contact with numerous of the more well-known pony site owners, from EQD to Canterlot Radio I plan to work with him to try and work out some beneficial places to advertise our site as well as its' overall cause, in promoting artwork of ponies with belly buttons
A special thanks so far to every one of our Highlighted Artists for their continued artwork presence with us; it's an honor to have so man

I lay beside you and could feel your heart beating fast.
Your hazel eyes lit a fire in my soul, warming my body in the dark.
I closed my eyes and breathed in all of you.
We talked all through the winter's night, while the city was sleeping.
Until the sun shone through the blinds, and the birds began singing.
We lay apon the emerald grass, under the shady trees.
The sky was blue, and the air was fresh.
It was only me and you.
I hear the sound of crashing waves and seagulls flying over.
I close my eyes and listen to the sounds fade away..
I breathe softly and fall asleep.
Knowing I'm safe next to you.
Bright sunny afternoon and a flock of lorikeets land on my shoulder.
I give a shriek and then laugh it off as I take a photo of you kissing them with my camera.
We laugh as we walk back to the bus stop, while I playfully fiddle with your backpack.
These are the good days, the days I want back.
We are sitting on your sofa, with a blanket covering our feet.

Delicately you took me, kissed my skin and lips so tenderly and perfectly.
Gently discovering my secret garden
And in your light brown eyes I could see the flow of emotions and love
We were conversing in Mother Nature's tongue,
The wild, the genuine and the common language among all beings
Your shapes fitted into mine, every inch of your skin imbricated into mine,
Figures of concave on to convex forms
And here it was perfect symmetry
Love symmetry, running along the curves of our splendid and uniform human cover
There, and still, I am swamped with your beautiful essence
Trapped in this youthful dance, haltingly celebrating this moment of fleeing freedom
And in my mind I sway,
Going from one sense to another,
And going from their shy and slight exposure to their devanture in crescendo
Our energies are synchronized and reloading automatically
You give me some sweat and heat
Then I take the holly lead,
Somehow I begin to hear little insects creak out
