
A Heart's PleaA bit of sun-shine,More Like This
I plea,
to enter a promising day.
Yet, sadly,
I find my world,
but blind,
and deepest gray.
Appear,
and give me sweet light,
my love,
That I may leap to day’s first flight,
and soar with thee,
one, together
to meet the heaven’s night.

LightThey all say you should stay in the lightMore Like This
But I have come to find
It just can’t inspire me to write

The ForeverYou stand within me, tall, erect, powerfulMore Like This
And act as a beacon for all that encompasses my will
It is your light that shines through
And my eyes glow with the beauty of your divine prowess
My light is but a glimpse, a deep reflection
Which is lost in the passing shade of time
The illusion persists and with it, obscurity
As all things fall and pass within a great deluge
But things change as they never do
As rigid as concrete is the unchanging metamorphosis
And as we arise to the conclusion we insist
We persist as the ever after and the now
You are the forever, the unchanging
And I shall forever exist as a part of thee
But my eyes, too, shal

What Lies InsideMirrored through personal imperfectionMore Like This
Lies divinity
Hidden behind the finite
Lies infinity
Wonders of the universe are shed
After our first intrepid step
Towards what's found eternal
That lies inside
The universal force that binds us
Lies within
The power, the forever, the beauty
Lies there in
Through eyes blinded by the consciousness
Breathes thoughts made so toxic
But still to see the forever
That lies inside
