Poem #1Your eyes, your breath,More Like This
So wise, such depth,
Your touch so warm and true;
Your eyes share dreams,
Of hope by means,
Enough to see me through.
DreamerOnce I knew a dreamerMore Like This
A dozen worlds in that head
But life was never a fairy tale
And now those dreams are dead
artThese hands shape your faceMore Like This
With every letter I lovingly place
Showing the emotions, you've made me feel
Like a projection from a photography wheel
But if you think this sets you apart
Think again. You’ll never be art
TenOf my poems I wrote you tenMore Like This
So you would be remembered among men
I thought it was a tidy sum
Almost as many as you had sips of rum
I promised I wouldn't let you fade
But I wish I had enough to trade
Trust YourselfMore Like This
If one could ever go back over their life, and change the things they once did, I bet they would. People never look back on their lives and say I wouldn't change a thing…or at least I have not heard of such a person. With that being said…I guess I just have some advice to give you… trust your-self. I know that can be a hard thing to do. It is easier said than done, but believe me, it is worth it. If there is ever any doubt…take a step back. Think on it…take the time to reconcile with your-self. Given some time your true feelings and deepest thoughts will bring themselves to you. With all the emotions clouding your mind, mixed feelings flooding in and out, and the anger building up inside wanting to rampage on the world; the true inner feelings are masked. You become blind and in the end it can be disastrous. Perhaps, it all relates to our dream…the continuing one. You go into this mode and become blind to your action
A Heart's PleaA bit of sun-shine,More Like This
to enter a promising day.
I find my world,
and deepest gray.
and give me sweet light,
That I may leap to day’s first flight,
and soar with thee,
to meet the heaven’s night.
