LoveSick HolloweenLove is like *Halloween*. It's known by people worldwide. People dress in costumes to disguise what and who they really are. Painted faces and masks depicting unusual creatures and strange objects. *Witches* who cast their spells and make you suffer after they lure you in. *Vampires* who hypnotize and charm you only to steal your heart and drain the life out of you. *Wolves* members of the dog family and supposedly man's best friend; unless they're a werewolf that is. *Zombies* once human who knew love, now merciless corpses who only give pain. *Mummies* all bandaged up. Wish you had bandages to cover up your broken heart. *Ghosts* like the ones from your past. Nothing but dead memories that'll haunt you for years to come. Trick or Treat. How about...Neither! Tricks are a treat...for the trickster. Treats are tricks for your health. Stomach or heart. Doesn't matter. Either way, if your not careful, you'll end up with an ache. Love is Scary. "Yeah we're never never going to see each other again. After this." I looked at her. There were tears in her eyes, streaming down her cheeks. I bit my lip. She sniffled.
"I don't want it to be like this." My voice was quiet as I spoke. I looked down at my shoes beat up Converse. They, like I, had been through so much with her. I scuffed at the ground with the toe of my shoe. "Why does it have to be this way?" I looked up at her now, tears in my own eyes. She sighed.
"Because, it just has to be."
"It doesn't have to be! Listen to me, I-," I was cut off. Her father was screaming for her. She let out a sob, and jumped into my arms. She hugged me tightly, and spoke.
"David, you're my best friend, and I love you for that. You were always there for me, and you always did things with me that should've gotten you into trouble. You helped me when no one else would, and you have up until today. You were always by my side, wherever I wen
