ZaDR- CuriosityDib watched Zim curiously as he saw the irken remove his wig for only a brief moment to massage his antennae before looking around and quickly putting it back on. No one seemed to have noticed; no one except a certain black-haired kid.
Dib lowered his binoculars and leaned back against the trunk of the tree he was perched in. It was recess and he was doing his usual spying on Zim. They were in Hi-Skool by now and Zim hadn’t managed to take over Earth yet. Not that anyone really expected him to. He’s shown his incompetency so many times Dib stopped worrying about him long ago. He just liked observing the many odd quirks the alien had.
His curiosity was piqued slightly. What function did the antennae serve? As long as he’s known Zim and he’s never really figured it out. He assumed they were for hearing and expressing emotion, as they often shot straight up when their owner was surprised or laid down flat when he was angry. But was that all they were for?

"I don't know. I think we need a vacation. Or maybe a few new movies."
"Vacation sounds fun." Purple hovered forward again but stayed by Red's side. "Maybe we can go somewhere tomorrow? It's too late now and I'm tired."
"Sure. But where can we go?"
"I don't know. FoodCourtia's still having their Foodening, and I don't want to be stuck there for twenty years. I like snacks, but being Tallest is much more important." Purple yawned. "We can talk about it tomorrow." He typed in the code to their quarters and entered when the door slid

That Dib-child just made Zim so furious sometimes. If it weren't for that monkey, he would have taken over this wretched planet years ago. And it didn't help matters that they were in Hi-Skool by now and Dib was almost seven feet tall. Insanely tall compared to the short Invader. Zim, of course, hated Dib even more because of that.
By now they had reached some sort of mutual agreement; neither was capable of winning their endless battle. They were just too evenly matched somehow. They had also discovered that if either were to be permanently defeated, the other would most likely end up depressed and lose their drive.
So actual physical battles ceased to be about a year ago. Now they just insulted each other across the classroom or threw stuff at each other. No different than any other Hi-Skool rivalry, really.
It was the worst time of the year right now. Winter. Temperatures dropped to below freezing and frozen water fell from the sky. Harsh winds blew. It was

GIR was outside building a snowman while MiniMoose looked for rocks to use for the facial features. GIR waved at Zim. "Mastah, come outside! Please?" His voice was loud enough that it was easily heard from inside.
For about the tenth time in the past few minutes, Zim shook his head. "No GIR! The snow can burn me, remember?"
"Then wear a hoodie!"
"A hoodie?" Zim hadn't thought of that. "Computer, my jacket."
Computer threw a red, hooded jacket at him. Its left chest pocket was marked with the irken insignia. He pulled it on and zipped it all the way up, then laid his ante

"One bottle of water," Zim said to the lady in the concession stand. She fished one out of the ice-filled cooler and set it on the counter.
"One dollar," she said.
Zim dug a dollar bill out of her pocket and gave it to her, then picked up the bottle. The ice-cold water clinging to its outside made him flinch as it burned his skin. He quickly handed it to Gaz and wiped his hand off on his pant leg.

Dib sighed sadly as he looked at a picture of Zim, standing as proud as he could despite his short stature, hands on his hips and grinning, obviously pleased that his picture was being taken. He closed his eyes as he remembered the last time he had seen him.
It was ninth grade, about halfway through the school year. In an attempt to make school more fun and perhaps revive some crushed spirits, a school dance was held. It was nothing formal, and you could come in whatever you wanted as long as it adhered to the dress code, that is. But no one paid attention to that stupid thing anyway.
Zim seemed somewhat interested in going, most likely because he wanted to learn more about Earth culture or maybe play a few pranks on some unsuspecting humans.

They were just trying to trick him into thinking it was true yeah that's what was going on; but the only lie that was being told was the one he was trying to tell himself.More Like This
Crimson eyes were completely void of their usual ecstatic emotion, being replaced by grief and disbelief. Unknown to him the class had already continued, but he didn't care. He simply sat there staring blankly at where the teacher had been.
They were lying, it was all lies, he wouldn't he couldn't. The distraught alien looked over at the empty seat only 5 chairs down, and felt his heart lurch painfully. He couldn't. The alien stood up, gaining stares from the class mates and an annoyed Ms. B
If I Die Young-ZaDrDib stood at the edge of a sparkling pond, the just rising sun reflecting beautifully off the nearly clear water. The scene would have been beautiful to him if it hadn't been for the reason he was coming here. Tears were falling silently down his face and he clutched the dead Pak more firmly against his chest. The panels on it were still glowing dimly and he'd tried...oh how he'd tried to reactivate the piece of technology and fashion it to a body. Oh how he'd tried to bring back that hateful spaztic alien.More Like This
He knelt down at the edge of the water, placing the technology down on a boat he'd fashioned with such care. The rose petals he'd laid around the satin pillow he'd placed the Pak on complimented the still glowing panels beautifully and he had to blink back more tears. He took a deep breath before placing his hands on the back of the boat and pushing it forward gently. He didn't want to let it go and he lay a hand weakly against the edge of the small boat before it could get too far
30 Minutes-ZaDr Dib was standing outside of his home silently. He did not approach the building, because he knew that soon it would fall to the ground and become ash. He looked to his right, just watching as the houses in that direction collapsed much like his would. Like dominoes in the wake of a blazing fire.More Like This
He was not scared nor was he surprised by the sight, in fact there was just a numbness settling over him. He just watched in an almost sick fascination as the fire traveled closer and closer to his own home, the flames licking hungrily at the sides of the technology filled building before taking it all away in a minute or two of raging fire.
The teen stuffed his hands in his pockets and walked calmly away from the fire, he knew he couldn't stay for long because soon the spot where he was standing would be engulfed in fire as well as most everything else

Zim scoffed, watching the filthy human dress. "This is ridicules. What is the point of these STOOpid human rituals? They get all sweaty and press against each other letting other people watch? HUUmans are beastly. Utterly beastly." He crossed his arms to prove his point and ignored the pointed stare in his direction.
"Says the Alien that just finished doing a very said-beastly human thing." Dib pulled on a white shirt, covering most of the marks littering his thin frame. He glanced back at Zim, noting that he wasn't moving to put anything on. "Are you going to change or are you trying to make it easier for me to ravish you with the rest of the student body watching?"
Zim's face took a slight blue tint and he glared at Dib. "Zim will NEVER AGAIN! NEVER again." He didn't elaborate, the teen understood. He stood and quickly jerked his jeans on, once again ignoring the stare. He wandered over to the humans dresser and rummaged through it, thr

Summary: After failing for years, The Tallest finally get bored of Zim's meek attempts and decide to take over the Earth for themselves, just for the entertainment. Zim, devastated, begins to question if he ever had a purpose. As for Dib, he's just trying to convince poor Zim, who's has been his longtime friend AND rival, that there's still a purpose for him out there. Like, oh I don't know, saving the world? ZADR. "My Tallest...there's an alien child, with a big head on the communication's screen!" Yelled one of the smaller Irkens who manned the control room of the Massive. Red's eyes narrowed in suspicion. "Really?" He thought for a moment about just ignoring the call but things were slow and he was bored. Bad things happened when Red was bored. "Alright. I'll talk to the child." He walked over to the screen and looked at the human. "What is it you want, you short ugly thing?" He asked, mind wandering to where his lover was. Where was Purple?
Dib was sitting in his room in front of all of his computers and various things he'd stolen from Zim's base. He was hacking the alien's computer at the moment to get this video feed through. "I'm not ugly...and I'm taller than Zim!" Dib grumbled and looked away self-consciously before glaring. "I want to know more about your

Although he is hungry to begin with, Dib knows that he hasn't been given breakfast or whatever. The point is, his meal is late and he is very hungry. A week straight he has been living in this cage and has been feed according to a schedule and now that schedule apparently is changing. It annoys him a lot.
Not to mention Zim not facing the truth. He is a failure; he doesn't even know that his mission is fake. These Tallest people only sent him here to get rid of him. Apparently on his home planet Zim was considered highly dangerous because of his defectiveness. He killed two of their previous leaders, turned the power out because of a faulty snack machine, and destroyed half their home planet in an operation that went wrong solely because Zim exists.
Not only that but his plans are stupid. There is the technology that he can build and it's amazing, but he

Zim nodded in understanding. "I must agree on that Dib thing, I'm also scared of sex...For personal reasons, but...I do want to have it at some point." Zim said with a blush. He wanted sex, he wanted to know what it felt like...but that damn piece of skin was blocking his way. He was too scared it would hurt and bleed.
Dib almost chocked on his own air supply. 'Zim hasn't!? He didn't do it yet!?' Dib screamed in confusion in his head, this whole time, the human swore Zim might have had sex already. But when Zim said he wanted to, Dib's heart skipped a beat. Dib wanted to have sex too and he felt more comfortable knowing that Zim was scared of sex but wanted it too. The 20 year old felt less like a loser.
"Sorry for the touchy subject, I know how it makes you humans feel." Zim said, staring at Dib with content eyes. He wondered if Dib would ever have feelings for him romantically. Ever wanted to kiss him, or maybe have sex with him. But Zim didn't care about sex...he would actually just

Zim had left work around 5. He didn't take the alleyways; not wanting to get in a fight, killed, or raped, because now he had something to look forward to in life.
Once Zim got to his apartment, he walked in, unsure of what to do next. Once he walked into his house, he smelled...Hamburgers? Once Zim had smelled himself, he realized it was him. He smelled of work.
Zim didn't want to smell like work when he went out with Dib. But why should it matter? They are friends, just hanging out normally...no reason to get fancy. However, Zim had the need to look his best; but why? It bugged the alien a bit.
Zim shook it off and took a quick shower. Because it was a human shower and it used water, he had to cover his body in paste before going in. His soap also had paste in it. Surprisingly, it left Zim's very clean and soft after.
Zim got dressed in a tight dark purple V-neck shirt and black skinny jeans with red converse. This was Zim's normal wear, but at least he looked well enough for Dib. Ho

The day of the wedding. The event that unites two people's lives forever, bound by love and friendship. Dib was overjoyed, and so was Zim. How wonderful!
"Dib?" Zim asked, smoothing out his pink dress while looking in the mirror of Dib's room.
Dib looked up from the mess of tissues on the floor he was cleaning up from the soap they'd watched last night. "What's up?"
Satisfied with his appearance, Zim turned around and glanced at the other who knelt on the carpet. "Why do you want to marry me?" he questioned, a grin on his face.
Dib raised an eyebrow at the question, but answered simply, "Because I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you." Finished with the mess, he stood up, facing the alien, taking steps towards the other. "Why?"
Zim shrugged, then spoke, "I wanted to hear you say it again, that's all." He leaned into the other and kissed him, wrapping his ar

The trip was almost over. Zim and Dib were so close to earth they could see it outside the ship's window.
Dib pressed his face to the glass. "I'm so excited! Finally, two months of flying in space are practically over! What? Zim?" he looked behind him at the alien who was pouting in the pilot's chair.
Zim continued to sulk, arms crossed. Ignoring the boy, he huffed and glanced out the window at the planet they were nearing.
Dib walked over to the other and kneeled so they were eye level, forcing the other to lock eyes with him. "Tell me what's up or I'll..." He tried to think of something. "Do....something you won't like!"
Zim rolled his eyes and huffed again, ignoring the humun's silly attempt.
"Fine," Dib spoke, straightening up. "I guess I'll just kill myself then." He looked around the ship for something sharp. Deciding to use a random hammer, he picked

The mayor slammed a fist on the desk, rattling the miniature newton's cradle and knocking over the can of pencils. His face a furious red, the man screamed, his voice low and threatening, "DEATH TO YOU! I DECLARE YOU TO BE HANGED TOMORROW EVENING! THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS, NO MATTER HOW "INNOCENT" OR "YOUNG" YOU SAY YOU ARE! IM DONE WITH YOU!" He picked up one of the pencils and threw it at the 5-year-old boy who kneeled, weeping in front of the mayor's desk.
The pencil hit the child in the head and he cringed, then slowly stood up and was led out of the grand red office by two guards, his tiny body trembling.
Finished with the annoying brat, the mayor leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. His eyes scanned the large room, gold framed walls and a large crystal chandelier hanging in the middle of the ceiling. He cackled, his laugh menacing, then pressed the large red button on his desk, and the two guards r
