The JourneyMore Like This
A tale of a thousand sorrows began this very night,
And if you'll believe me, it began with a single fight,
Between a man of sinister nature,
And another who knew wrong from right.
Everyone there rooted for the man they all knew,
A family man, with a teenage son too.
That was when it happen, they were all shocked to say,
The evil man pulled out a knife and began to stab away.
The son heard of the news not an hour after,
And jumped onto a horse, to follow the evil laughter.
He know exactly what this was about, the debt his father owed,
He galloped back to his home, and grabbed his sword from the rafter.
He chased after the man, through the day and the night,
Survived attacks from bandits, the wolves who gave him a fright.
He didn't eat, didn't sleep, fuelled by his rage,
He felt his heart go black, and felt it slip away from the light.
He fell to the ground, screaming at the air,
"Why God, why? Why is it you don't care?"
