"Hello again, Mother," he said, softly. His voice surprised her: it was high pitched and lilting, much different from the bass rumble of his father's. But then, she thought to herself, he's really only a child, isn't he?
"Hello again, son." She stared into his bright eyes, almond shaped and slightly slanted, like her own. His appearance was unusual: he'd inherited some of his mother's Asian features, but his father's light hair and eyes. He was beautiful, but like the others of his kind there seemed to be a latent power within him that went beyond his physique.
"It's time to go now," he said, hesitantly.

It was dark lavender, having the new family symbol sewn onto the left side of her chest. The sleeves almost passed her fingertips, while her booties were showing out the bottom of the dress. Her long black hair was pushed in front, splaying over her shoulders.
