Sudden change for Rarijack?I can't find and explanation yet of why Rarity and Applejack are taking first places in nearly every single 'favorite pony' poll. If we take a look to the past, Rarity nor Applejack were nearly as close to characters like Rainbow Dash or Pinkie Pie in terms of popularity. It makes sense, the taboo of MLP being a 'girly' show was still classified matter at the time and the growing fandom of grown men behind the show took the less girly, cool and awesome pony as favorite, Rainbow Dash.
