Dear Paul... While i never had the pleasure of meeting you, I still feel like I knew you, at least somewhat. I've seen Slipknotknot live twice, and both nights will always stay with me. It's very possible to say that I'm about to see my 26th birthday because of you, helping me through the tough times when I could have self-destructed. You may be physically gone, but you live in your music, as well as in the hearts of your bandmates, your family and friends, and devoted Maggots all over the world. It is because if this that I wish you a very happy birthday. My gift is this painting I did. .
Another commission for Linzi. This is a big piece. Several inches on all sides would not fit into the scanner. The stage and the bassist's name could not be scanned. I think the hand looks terrible, but I was having issues with hands apparently.
Made this really awesome comic! which was inspired by my Squeezin' It series. I commented that I was a little sad I didn't have this idea myself first, but she was really nice and said I was allowed to draw it in my own style! What a cool gal!
I'm getting all tuckered out by school projects, so I didn't really have time to do much art until today, and that includes commissions. But because I wanted a break from it all, I decided to go ahead and color the sketches I've done for the Mane 6.
So, this is how I see them. :3 Quite a few of these are from the Age Thingy series, but only Pinkie and Rarity aren't finished. So I guess seeing them here is a bit of a "spoiler" or something. I dunno, but whatevah. Think of it as a "Happy Anniversary, MLP!" o3o
This was a bunch of fun to do, it was. I played around with each of their designs, some changes more noticeable than others, but I really like how each of them came out. c: For those of you who are curious, here's a mini-headcanon of each of their appearances:
-Twilight Sparkle- For those of you who watch my gallery, you may remember this version of Twilight. I simply used her since she's pretty recent and I really liked how she came out, soooo.... here she is a second time. c: For those of you who don't know, in my headcanon Twilight will eventually have her hair and wings shift in color to reflect the actual colors of the literal twilight, with a few stars here and there. She may begin putting her mane up in a ponytail too to keep it out of her face, because it's beginning to grow at a faster rate than normal. Of the Mane 6, she is the second tallest.
-Applejack- The tallest of the Mane 6, as well as the biggest. I originally gave AJ a missing notch to her left ear, but I switched it to the right one instead. The lighter-colored "socks" have been added because my version of her father has white "stockings". The bite marks she has on her back are from fending off a wild animal from the farm, something that tends to happen often enough due to Sweet Apple Acres being close to Everfree Forest's borders.
-Rarity- Didn't really change much to her design other than give her the classical unicorn appearance, which I think fits her very well. I absolutely love drawing her hair too. o3o
-Fluttershy- I didn't really change much to her design other than giving her wings and tailfeathers pink tips. I think it suits her well. :3
-Rainbow Dash- Added dark-tipped ears and rainbow-tipped wings and tailfeathers, because I figured it made enough sense. Of them all, I think her colors were the most fun.
-Pinkie Pie- Added just a tad bit of a darker pink to the wrists of her hooves, and she has a small patch of feathers among her shoulders. This is mainly because I think a pegasus would be a grandparent to Pinkie. Infact, I have the headcanon that Surprise from G1 is Granny Pie Pinkie always talks about.
Buuut yeah. Not much else to say, and if you see typos, that's because I'm exhausted. So yeah. Ask questions if you have them, and as always, thank you checking out my stoof. c:

the trilogy is finally complete! (well, my version of it anyway.)
people have been asking for a while if i had plans to do a return of the jedi poster to go along with the new hope and empire strikes back i had done a few years back...and i finally squirreled away enough time to finally get it done. hope the people that were asking for it aren't disappointed...may the force be with you!
picking myself up off of the floor after being asked to illustrate a jabba the hutt poster for mondotees' star wars series, i immediately popped return of the jedi in my dvd player and traveled back in time to 1983. i remember my parents informing me on a particularly warm saturday afternoon that, once yard chores were finished, we'd be going to the theater to see the final chapter of the star wars trilogy.
that saturday evening would stay with me the rest of my life.
the the scenes in jabba's palace perfectly encapsulate the dense, alien-rich texture of star wars that completely hooked me as a kid and continue to inspire my work today.
i remember sitting in the theater as a 9 year-old and being completely blown away by the sheer variety of spectacles in the palace; the jade-skinned slave girl, the tiny scavenger turned fan-boy, the worm-like translator, one of our heroes hung as a trophy, and, of course the bloated slug crime lord and his twisted pet.
i envision my poster as a family portrait of this collection of miscreants taken shortly before meeting their ultimate demise.
poster specs: • 4 color screenprint on offwhite stock • size: 26" x 17.5" • limited edition of 260
sale info: • date: fri, oct 22 • time: random (follow @MondoNews for a hint!) • where: mondotees
Mark it zero!!! Thought this was an appropriate post for today since a "Turkey" is a bowling term when one gets 3 strikes in a row. Anywho, did this piece as commission for a big fan of the "Big Lebowski". A great, great film, one of my favs.

This draw was supposed to be the cover for my notebook on first year of High School. But it took more time that I expected - because I stopped to make it and got back to work in the following year, hehe. So I didn't use as a cover. ___________________________________________________________________________ now on colors and better! Not all masks are from the same eras. I mixed Clown’s masks from two different eras (Slipknot and Iowa). This is from my own imagination. I didn't use direct reference for the masks or anything at the time, but of course I didn't create them.

Marr Bell (gorgon pony) Custom Plush for
Character within the fanfiction written by
Marr is made from silver, charcoal and ash minky. Her eyes were embroidered with a Brother Innovis 750D embroidery machine, Madiera Rayon embroidery thread, and Bernina V6 embroidery software, and feature gradient embroidery. The gradient embroidery has an amazing glowing/shining quality that is hard to capture in pictures (see pic top right). The eyes were designed and digitised by me. Her pattern was also designed by me. She is 19 inches to the top of her head. Her snake portion is approximately 65" long from her torso, but has been sewn into a coil as pictured so she may support herself upright. The shining scales on her body are made from appliqued Angelina Fibers, and shimmer spectacularly under light (much like a snakes scales, see pic top right). The dark scales were airbrushed using a hand made stencil.
Please do not ask for the pattern, under no circumstance will I be giving it out.
I just couldn't be prouder of how this plush came out. It is so different from anything I've ever seen or attempted, and I tried out several cool techniques to make it even more special. The angelina fiber scales really are spectacular in person. The shimmer and iridescent colours they shine with is really something to behold. I was also super thrilled with how the airbrushed scale pattern came out. It really makes her snake portion look scaly imo, but it is still super soft. It was so awesome to get to work on such a unique project.
I hope you love her!
