Oh My God, I am genuinely excited when this photoshoot was marked down on my calendar, just that I was stupid enough to buy my return flight ticket on the initial shoot date, and I have another flight in another 2 days! Due to my mistake I ended up myself a tight** ( MEL> touch down SG midnight> Sleep > wake up for shoot> pack for flight > SG>BCN ) schedule ..... I honestly need to give myself a pat on my shoulder for finishing all the tasks D: !
This is my 2nd time working with Cvy and she's been a big sweet pie so far! THE CUTEST MAKO *_* Thanks to all the helpers who are all self-initiative and funny! Everyone kept me sane despite having aches all over the place and a little sad after leaving Melbourne >.<
Since I said I was gonna remake Haseo, I totally did 8D This is my remake from Made In Asia 8D I had a great time in this cosplay although it was hard moving around in it D8.
Special thanks to ~katyuna for helping me at MiA when I was stressing out and of course for the help on Haseo the time I was at your place :3. Kenny for helping me with the painting and of course for driving us over there and being awesome as Suzaku 8D and then of course Nisse for being totally epic and making me the base, so I knew how to continue! SO MUCH STRESS, WORK, BLOOD, PAIN and STRESS IN THIS COSPLAY. SO MUCH! I'm really glad it's over now though, it's finished and I only have to redo small details (they broke down at the con >_<)
for SketchMaster11 on YouTube, who asked a couple of months ago on how to make my Vanitas Boots. @-@ between college summer courses, my computer dieing and work though, I haven't had a chance to sit down and make up a video on how to make them. @-@ so instead I sat down and made up a rough tutorial on how to make boot tops in general. I was a stupid panda in making the first set though, in that I did not take any pictures what-so-ever of how designing the pattern turned out. Hopefully you can get through the process of how I did it via the diagrams.
Red = Toe, Purple = Outer Ankle Orange = Inner Ankle Green = Sewing Pins
kinda half@ssed and done quickly in photoshop, and its more wordy than anything else, but unfortunately this is the best I have at the moment. @-@ sorry hun. I hope it gets you started in a general direction.
Part 1 CONTINUED: ((didnt know my text was cut off... xP curse you photoshop!)) *or a new pair of sole inserts can better protect your feet, if you're worried about buying used shoes. Generally speaking it should fall within your comfort level all around, but when looking at costs of the full costumes, you may need to budget yourself wisely. Something to consider.
Seriously happy we got to shoot this the day before my bday.
Was a short shoot but the photos are awesome >D
Also made coscards of this for AFA. If u didn't get it, u can find me in JB this weekend for Jcos, in SG for L2P and EOY, and KL for Comic Fiesta haha. I'll print more if I run out before the end of year.
ughhh haha. The pink blood is specially made by Archie. He was having fun pouring it all over me n making me look like I'm dying haha.
Thanks much much.
Will shoot Komaeda quite a few more times. With diff ppl and our group too =w=
I cosed Ko for AFA on sat. Will probably do again on L2P with Hinata-kun (n maybe Chiaki).
Can't wait to shoot Junko near the end of this year too >D
Shooting of our safari outfit from the Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movie "Double Trouble / Vier Fäuste gegen Rio / Non c’è due senza quattro" as Greg Wonder / Antonio Coimbra and Eliot Vance / Bastiano Coimbra.
Submission category of the cartoons & comics section made my little brain confused as hell =_=
Submitting an old work. 2009 to be exact.
This is a graphic novel I made for my school's annual art folio - Horizons. The theme was opposites. And being creative and all I chose a very unique concept- water and fire. *sarcasm*
It really brings back memories.
All the drive and enthusiasm thinking about the storyboard; talking about how the story will come out while walking home with my boyfriend; sitting in during my former professors class just so I can render this in between breaks- I got to finish the cover page quickly thanks to that; then cramming the rest of the 12 pages in three to four days with hardly any sleep and cramming for my majors too. *sigh* Good time. Gooood tiiiiiimes~.
Looking at it again, I realized I hardly improved these last 3 years- which is pretty depressing- actually, it's very depressing. Or maybe I’m just setting my standards too high again. Yeah, I think that’s it. I should stop doing that. =_= ;
I opt with illustration only graphic novel because I was never good with words- like making fictional conversations or fictional monologues. I know. I tried it. And I stank at it.
I was always more comfortable with illustrating the story without any dialogue. It's faster since you don't need to add any text or speech bubble. Plus you don't have to worry about typos.
Posting this in DA wasn't an option before. I was embarrassed to submit this; but seeing this again after three years, I’m wondering now why I ever thought of it as embarrassing. I must say I'm very happy with this. I need to pat my old self in the back.
Well happy viewing and I hope you all like it.
EDIT Woah! I never expected this comic would go viral. o_o; Some of my friends and acquaintances have been telling me all day that they were seeing this on 9gag or some other similar site or even on a wall of some friend. The internet is a powerful force indeed.
I guess the one thing I regret is that I didn't put a link of my website on my comic.
Putting that aside, many thanks to all the comments and fav's. Right now this deviation has the most views in my gallery. And I thank you all for that ^__^
I really appreciate the love you all have been giving me.
EDIT 2: Added my name at last =u=
EDIT 3: A lot of people have been asking me about this so I'm posting it here in my comment box. The animation 'Alight' has no connection whatsoever with my comic. The only similarity we have with each other is that we both have a fire boy and a water girl. That is all. Many thanks~
This was taken back during the summer of July 2013. This is one of my favorite cosplays, so I had a lot of fun during this shoot. I'm definitely hoping to post more during this next month! Thanks for being so patient with me~
Here is a good cosplay friend of mine coplaying Oichi. Though ~gelaii-chan's version is version 3.
I just love how the colors of our costumes blends in so well with each other. Hahaha I had fun cosplaying with her in this series ^^
Ings Isungga: For making the huge ass bow Tere Ranada: For making the headpiece ~Aeade: For fixing the bow and for storing it for me. Thank you so much. ~Midnight-Phantasm: For organizing this mass photoshoot. Thanks to you I had a venue to cosplay Ina again.
"Look, land! Let's get out of this mud and wet grass and go someplace warm, where they have food."
fun fact of no importance whatsoever: since the surroundings weren't much, I toured that one park around the Opera building about a hundred times during the two days. And there were no flowers, only towering bushes of wild weeds... The one patch of grass that had roses was guarded and I did not get permission to take photos. I am not a rhino, I will not eat or trample or steal the soul of your rose bushes, for the love of all that is holly, don't be so paranoid, ppl.
