First Battle of Eden: Part 1The First Battle of Eden
By Josheua Samuelson
A Chronicles of Man Short Story
The chime pierced the silence of the flag officer's quarters aboard the Alliance battleship Kilimanjaro, and Vice Admiral Harriet Spencer's azul eyes opened begrudgingly before the chime called again. Sighing, the five foot nine woman rolled to her side and glanced up at the communication panel at her bedside, tapping the glowing accept key and designating voice only. After all, it wasn't right for an admiral to talk to her subordinates while half naked.
"Spencer, go ahead." She said and noted the grogginess of her own voice as she checked the time. Zero two hundred. No wonder she felt like she had just fallen off a sunderhorse.
"Admiral, I don't mean to wake you but we have a situation." Spencer quirked an eyebrow at the voice on the other end. It was Captain Kuritz, Kilimanjaro's CO who, like Spencer,
Space Marine vs Spartan FINALOk I have now researched into both space marine and spartans including armour tactics etcMore Like This
Here is who will be fighting each other
Spartan 2 in Mark VII assault armour and a normal Space Marine in Mark VIII Errant Power Armour
(Most updated armour on both sides)
Ok lets start with the armour of the space marine:
The power armour is made of Ceramite which is heat proof and shock proof and is extremely heavy and is powered (aided movement)
the source of power on the space marine is its backpack and they have had problems with it being there as it is quite a big target which makes the armour vunerable, the classic weakpoints on normal armour have been covered up, this armour weighs more than a ton which doesnt make it as agile.
The assualt armour is made of a titanium alloy (forerunner ore) which is extremly tough to get through and wieghs less than half a ton the source power is much smaller and concealed and this armour is also powered in movement because this armour is m
What I think about Spartans vs Space marinesAm I the only the only fan of both?!? First of all they wouldnt fight each other and second a space marine is 37948 years more advance, but in my opinion a Spartan would give a space marine a run for his money because if anyone has read the halo novels they would realise that they are alot more powerful in there (like one spartan could destroy one Covanent army) and then you have to consider what type of spartan, 1,2 or 3 1 and 2 would get destroyed easily but a spartan 2 in my opinion could kill a space marine if he was weilding an energy sword becuase spartans are far more agile becuase they were also created for war hence the name SPARTANMore Like This
so in conclusion I would say a Spartan 2 could Kill a space marine IF wielding an energy sword IF not I think it would be a stale mate

Rtas 'Vadum stared out of the hanger lost in thought, his fleet had been ordered to secure the last Halo ring a task that Rtas felt was going to be more trouble than it was worth. Sighing he turned and started to walk to the bridge so he could get a look at the fleet before they arrived.
“A Fleet Master! Just the man I wanted to see.” called a voice from behind him. Rtas turned as Major Frederic-104 marked up to him. The SPARTAN was clad in the replacement for MJOLNIR armour.

The key to what we left behind,
Hidden deep within the dark,
A single final glowing spark,
Our perfect everlasting mark,
Buried safely on the Ark.
But first we had to end it all,
And death incarnate - had to stall,
So we stood there side by side,
To stop the unrelenting tide,
Holding back the endless Flood,
That sought to taste creations blood.
And so the rings we did ignite,
To burn it all and end the fight,
It purged the worlds and all their skies,
And brought about our own demise.
I'm sad I caused the decimation,
Of every species - every nation,
Yet I pray you stand our station,
Loyal guards to all-creation.

She wrung the coffee out of the front of her shirt, made damn sure that all of her doors and windows were locked, and called Mike.
"Yeah? Sandie? That you?"
"You don't know anything about this, do you?"
"Mike, there's a zombie on my back porch. It's leaving smears on the glass door. Is it yours?"
"I... Could you repeat that?"
"Zombie, Mike. It's a dead body in a puddle of nasty, and it's leaving more nasty on my door. God, I can even smell it. This is one thorough job, man."
She edged away from the door, keeping an eye on the intruder beyond the glass. It was bloated and purple with decay, green and black fungus speckling its face. There was fluid coming out of its mouth and dripping from its nose. It had no eyes, and all indication of sex or age had rotted away.
"Robotic, maybe? One of its legs is about to fall off. You didn't sic one of your Cyber Derby friends

Throughout the galaxy, the Jedi had the reputation for being just, but more often than not such words of praise were accompanied by comments decreeing the Jedi as prudish, sanctimonious, stick-in-the-muds whose holier-than-thou attitudes could become grating quickly.
Much of this stereotype held true in the illustrious Jedi Temple on Coruscant, and there were many who were fully dedicated to meditation and other spiritual or scholarly pursuits. There were many inveterate Jedi who singularly focused on such disciplines… that was not to say the Jedi Temple never found time for lighter, recreational activities…
Some of these recreational activities were frowned upon by more traditional Jedi, but one activity which had the near unanimous approval of the Jedi was the annual Padawan Games.
The Padawan Games were didactic in nature, as they were
