Make Up Your MindMore Like This
Make up Your Mind
God's hands are in everything,
Though we can't see.
And the fact that He's hidden,
But to those who believe,
He walks with them by day.
And those who choose to believe,
Can come in and stay.
God's always there,
Sharing your pain.
Every time you hurt,
He hurts again.
Choosing to believe
Is the hardest thing to do,
Especially when circumstance
Has gone and robbed you.
Make your decision,
Make up your mind.
Will you go at life alone,
Or with God by your side?
God KnowsMore Like This
When your troubles weigh down your shattered heart,
When your burdens become too much to bear;
Bring those troubles to Me and I'll take them apart,
Come to Me with your load, 'cos you know that I care.
If your heart has been broken and your spirit abused,
If your trust is lost and hidden from sight;
Give Me your heart and your spirit, I know they are bruised,
And know you can trust Me to stand with you and fight.
When life's got you down and you're falling apart,
When depression torments you and causes you pain;
Give your life to me, though you're stuck in the dark,
Let me comfort your spirit with light again.
When you're lost and you're lonely, although there're people around,
Or when emotions besiege you and leave behind hurt;
Turn to me and I'll find you, I won't let you drown,
And I know what you're feeling, I'm always alert.
Just know that I love you and know that I care,
Know that I know the pain hurting you.
I know your conditions and I'll always
God ListenedMore Like This
Even when those who claim no religion as their own,
Open their mouths, minds and hearts in hope for another;
Each little spark that rises from the heart of someone
In the hope of a Devine Intervention to save a life,
Each is collected until a Heavenly fire burns
And angels get the call;
Someone needs help.
I've never really believed the verse that says
When two or more are gathered in His name
God will be there and listen...
But this morning many gathered,
Some in His name,
And sent their sparks of hope skyward.
I owe my life not to the fact that I failed at failing,
But to those who never lost their spark of hope.
And to you, one day, I will be able to say thank you;
Meaning the words instead of uttering them like a mantra.
Your sparks ignited a fire in Heaven,
And God listened.
