Chapter 2 Part 1 Hard Summer's Day
Breakfast was pretty good it would've been perfect if it had not been for the intense heat plaguing the day. Peach dabbed her forehead with her napkin as she watched the eight Koopa kids in front of her slump in their chairs and fiddle with whatever was left on their plates. The hot weather sucked all the seemingly endless amounts of energy away from them, making them all look like lifeless rag dolls sitting in their chairs. It saddened her, that they all looked so miserable. Living in Dark Land, they had to deal with constant heat already, but the summer weather just made it worse. It was a bit disheartening to see them all like this, and she wished she could do something about it. And it didn't help that there was no real cooling system in the castle... or at least from what she knew.
