EDIT 03/07/13: You can now buy a print in the official BBC Shop and at Big Chief Studios Limited!

"Look at the sky. It's not dark and black and without character... the black is, in fact, deep blue. And over there: lighter blue, and blowing through the blues and blackness the winds swirling through the air and then shining, burning, bursting through: the stars! And you see how they roar their light. Everywhere we look, the complex magic of nature blazes before our eyes."
This work is part of my official series of Doctor Who poster-paintings based on the newer seasons. This one is of the Eleventh Doctor as played by Matt Smith. Originally commissioned by KLCx, thank you! Ref image from the 2010 Christmas Special.

Thank you all so much for your overwhelming support and comments on this painting! Makes a great phone wallpaper according to a lot of people, apparently (no need to ask for personal use like that, just please do not remove my watermark.)

Kindly reblog on Tumblr!

Another one down.

Note: I don't think DA likes the fact that it's a 3MB+ PNG. If the image preview isn't showing up for you - Click "Download Image".

Some edits:
- Removed 1px star-fields; better sense of scale
- Added more, larger stars.
- Adjusted light and shadows - Can you tell the differences? :P

Update: I hadn't logged into DA since last Monday and BAM - 2,500+ Notifications. My jaw kinda dropped lol. Thanks dreamwa1ker and Voyager212! Everyone else, I'm glad you enjoy the piece! :)

Been working on this for a WHILE as the thing I do when I'm bored and thinking up ideas for Search for the Truth.
Done in Corel Painter IX over... er, maybe... seven hours? Eight? Anyway, VERY SLOWLY over a month or two.

Oh and that's John Simm as the Sixth Master. If you didn't know.

I'm toying with the idea of eventually doing all the DW characters. Hmm... Maybe.

Larger prints may become available. Please enquire if you're interested.

Just a really random idea I had which I put into action. It's the recent Doctor Who episode 'The End of Time, Part 1' as told through the Master's Facebook page.

All of my Fictional Character Facebook Pages are done entirely using Photoshop.

You have no idea how long I spend working on the glint in his eyes o.o

ANYway, another dose of my insane Photoshopping - played with it so much, and it still doesn't quite look right.

Used a fabby Photoshop tutorial, so I can't take too much credit. Just the idea of using the Doctor/Master :D

This one exists for no other reason than "AWESOME!!!!" Seriously, someone should get this team-up rolling (though a Superman Doctor Who team up probably makes more sense... but whatever, someone get it done!)
This took a LONG time to get done because of the sheer amount of research required. For one thing, I really wanted to get the 70"s Brave and the Bold cover vibe going while also connecting with the modern Who stuff (I know it would make more sense to use Baker or Pertwee as my Doctors, but I wanted to use my favorite Doctors, and my favorite Batman. Whatever, sue me.) The Grays took a bit longer and seemed a bit flat, so I decided to use the warmer colors (oranges) to sort of "heat" up the piece, and give it a bit of a pop. I think it turned out nicely (there are things that nag at me like crazy... and I'm still developing my markering, so I'm not quite there yet) but I think it will make for some nice prints overall. And, before I go... SOMEONE GET THIS GOING!!!

EDIT: I have made this piece available as a few items in the shop. Not much, because it's such a small piece but if the reception on it is good, I might go back and make it available for more items. Peace!

I haven't used PS in SO freeeeking long I don't even know what I'm doing anymore. =T ANYWAY...I'm going to try to draw more this year (ha) so since i haven't had any clue as to what to draw...i figured I'd draw some Dr Who characters using a bryan lee O'malley poster as further inspiration/style. *shrug*

And here he his, the best Doctor of the revival series ponified for all to enjoy! David is a wonderful actor, his Doctor was written brilliantly and everyone i know loves him as the Doctor.

I tried to capture his seriousness in this picture with his stance and holding the sonic in between this teeth. I like how the shading on this one turned out as well. I apologize for no sideburns, any way i drew it, it just didn't look right :P

Anyways, enjoy ponified Tennant! I'll be posting one more ponified Doctor, then the big picture with all eleven!

Colin Baker's Doctor was an egocentric man in a brightly colored coat. He was the living embodiment of the 1980's and would save your world even if he didn't like you. He was... and oddball to say the least, nearly strangling Peri to death when he had regenerated.

Enjoy! (You guys should Tweet this picture to Colin @SawbonesHex ;D)

Undoubtedly the best Doctor from the classic series! This is part of my big 11 pony doctors picture, so expect that one very soon :D

I love how this turned out, I tried my best on all the doctors to capture a bit of their personalities in the expressions and body stances. I think i captured Baker's manic personality perfectly. I think the shading completes it and makes it stand out better than flat colors.

Anyways, enjoy!

This is a Doctor Who stamp that I created about six months ago for people to use on Deviantart.
I was sure that I had uploaded it before but obviously not...
Anyhow, feel free to stick this in your journal etc, if you are a subscribed member!
Let me know if you use it. :)

Edit: As many of you have pointed out, this stamp is missing Matt Smith, aka 11. As much as I want to add him to this stamp I've actually lost the original file I used to make this, so unfortunately in the foreseeable future he won't be included.

Edit 18th July 2011: I did it! After all this time I was able to find the original file on my old laptop which was gathering dust (and mould)! I have now been able to add in Matt Smith / the 11th Doctor to the stamp! :boogie:

The Twelfth Doctor Peter Capaldi 2014 to ????

The new image in my apparently and rather surprisingly continuing series of Doctor Who quotes. Well it was a
surprise to me that 2 years later id still be adding to it. But I just can't help myself I love Doctor Who!

I wonder what he's going to be like. I shall fill in a bio when we know more about him, but for now all I shall say is I bet he's going to be awesome.

I hope you like it

Got to thinking about all the random things I've seen come out of the Doctor's pockets throughout the years, and this happened.  :)  Derpy dinosaur is derpy. But he loves his scarf.

~Edited for a bit of an update!  I keep discovering new things to add as I go through all the Classic Who and Big Finish audio adventures!  Also added a couple things from the new season.

As part of my Doctor Who cartoons piece, I had the different Doctors hold their respective sonic screwdriver. I put loads of detail into each one despite how small they all are on the final composite, so I decided to show you all at their full resolution!

If you think I have missed any devices off this piece that deserve to be recognised, just comment and I'll be happy to make them.

**UPDATE 1 - 20/09/10**
I have included Romana's Sonic Screwdriver, River Song's Sonic Screwdriver and The Master's Laser Screwdriver.

**UPDATE 2 - 16/05/11**
I have included Miss Foster's Sonic Pen, Captain Jack/River Song's Sonic Blaster and Sarah Jane's Sonic Lipstick.

**UPDATE 3 - 08/01/12**
I have included The Fifth Doctor's Sonic Lance, The Eleventh Doctor's Sonic Cane and Amy Pond's Sonic Probe.

I have improved Marks I and II of The Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver, and also improved Sarah Jane's Sonic Lipstick.

**UPDATE 4 - 03/07/12**
I have included the Fourth Doctor’s Mark III.2 Sonic Screwdriver, The Third Doctor’s Door Handle, The Eighth Doctor’s Radio Play Sonic Screwdriver, Captain Jack’s Compact Laser Deluxe, Toshiko Sato’s Sonic Modulator, Jackson Lake’s ‘Sonic’ Screwdriver and a collection of TARDIS keys.

I have also improved the Doctor’s Mark III, Mark V and Mark VI Sonic Screwdrivers.

I have also redesigned the layout of the piece (including rearranging the devices in chronological order of first appearance), hopefully making the overall collection look better.

**UPDATE 5 - 10/10/13**
I have included The Tenth Doctor/John Smith's Fob Watch, The Tenth Doctor's Timey Wimey Detector, The Tenth Doctor's Parthenogenesis Detector, The Tenth Doctor's Rhondium Sensor, The Time Lords' De-Mat Gun, The Guardian's Key to Time, Jabe's Species Scanner, Captain Jack/River Song's Vortex Manipulator, Captain Jack's Defabricator, The Preachers' Dimension Jump (Mark I), Mickey Smith's Dimension Jump (Mark II), Mickey Smith's Preacher Gun, Martha Jones' Anti-Regeneration Gun, Lady Clemency Eddison's Vespiform Telepathic Recorder (Firestone), UNIT's Osterhagen Key, Sarah Jane Smith's Warp Star, The Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor's Z-Neutrino Biological Inversion Catalyser, Adelaide Brooke's Bowie Base One Gun, The Corsair's Hypercube, The First Master's Laser Weapon, The First and Third Master's Tissue Compression Eliminator, Cybus Earpods, Torchwood Earpiece, Mr Magpie's Portable Television, Judoon Scanner, Judoon Blaster, Dalek-Human Gunstick, The Family of Blood's Blaster, Ood Operations Communicator, Sontaran Baton/Swagger Stick, Sontaran Heavy Duty Laser Rifle, Sontaran Blaster, and Psychic Paper.

I have also improved the TARDIS keys, Marks II, III, III.2 and IV of The Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver, River Song's Sonic Screwdriver, Captain Jack's Compact Laser Deluxe, Captain Jack's Sonic Blaster and Jackson Lake's 'Sonic' Screwdriver.

I have also improved the design of the piece by lightening the Blueprint pattern, creating a new wood texture and created a new blueprint-style title.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

The tesselector: Our records office is sealed to the public. The chicken isn't guilty of anything.

River Song: Spoilers.

The Eleventh Doctor: Chickens are cool!

The Tenth Doctor: I dunno. I've learnt to stay away from hens.

The Ninth Doctor: Common poultry with migratory habits. Fantastic!

The Sixth Doctor: I haven't the slightest idea, Perry. Perry!

The Fifth Doctor: Ah. I'm not quite sure, but I'm sure someone around here could tell us!

The Fourth Doctor: Would it like a jelly baby?

Idris/Sexy: Do chickens cross roads?

The daleks: The chicken will be exterminated!

Harriet Jones, Prime Minister: Harriet Jones, Prime Minister. Has the chicken requested assistance?

The street vendors of NNY: Buy some happy for your trip across the road!

Amy Pond: I don't know. Does it matter, a chicken crossing?

Jackie Tyler: That chicken's mother is probably worried about it.

Captain Jack: Hello, chicken.

The Judoon: We have no juristiction over chickens.

Torchwood: If it's avian, it's ours.
What better way to improve a bad day than by thinking up jokes about Doctor Who?

Now, I'm pretty sure that I came up with most of these, but some of them were fairly obvious and so it's entirely possible that someone else thought of them first. No plagiarism intended if that is the case.
