Dear Queen Ree,
We are very sorry to tell you this, but mother dove has died. Her last request before she bit the dust was that no fairy should ever come up to see her body. Beck is so upset that she's denying the whole thing. She is unable to accept the tragic truth. We suggest that you take immediate action and prevent Beck from visiting the body of mother dove today. Whatever you do, do not let anyone see mother dove today.

(The following letter was found stuck on the door of the sour plum tree.)
Dear "animal talent fairies",
It seems you have made a very serious mistake. Bess has already reported to me that mother dove is sleeping peacefully in the Hawthorn tree where she was all night long. Next time you feel the need to alert me to a dangerous situation, make sure the message gets to
A Prime Father's DayFather's Day. What an odd human holiday. From what Ratchet could gather it was celebrated nearly world wide, but on various dates through out the year. In this country such a celebration has to be held the coming day know to the Western Earth calendar as Sunday. Sunday appeared to be a day to hold many honors when it come to human celebrations. Much like Mother's Day, this appeared to be a day in which Fathers and other male parental figures are celebrated and rejoiced.More Like This
Curiosity strikes the Autobots, more correctly Bumblebee, the young scout quickly listing off a series of question filled beeps. Rafael, as always, was more then happy to sate the Scout's curiosity, “It's a time and day just for our Dads. They do a lot to keep their children safe from harm, they teach us what we need to know, play with us. Even though he has a lot of kids, my dad always tries his hardest to keep us happy and get everyone what they need. He even helped me get the little bit to buy my laptop! He tau
Spark of a WreckerJack Darby opened his locker, exchanging the textbooks in his hands for the ones he would need for next period. There was no real need to hurry; the break between classes still had a good five minutes left to it, but the young man was not a fan of the local scenery. By whatever joke of the universe that was being played on him, Jack had found his locker to be rather annoyingly close to the one belonging to Vince, Jasper High's resident Jerk with a capital "J."More Like This
The red haired teen was currently laughing about something in the center of a group of friends, more than likely completely oblivious to what time it was. Not that Jack was particularly interested in reminding him. Closing his locker, and giving the combination dial a spin for good measure, the young Darby prepared to leave. Before he'd taken his first step, something new caught his attention.
Miko Nakadai had just turned the corner of the hallway, a questing look on her face

Bumblebee dodged another blast before taking cover behind a rock next to Arcee. The two of them were attempting to get the latest unearthed relic from the Decepticons before they had a chance to use it. But it seemed that the 'Cons weren't going to make this easy for them, which most likely had something to do with the fact that Megatron was there.
"Do you know what that relic does 'Cee?" he questioned.
"No idea, just try not to get hit by it."
Glancing at the rocks around them the scout remembered how he had used the dust and dirt from them to trick Airachnid once. Maybe he could do something similar to give him enough cover to snatch the relic. Quickly he shot at all of the rocks, stirring up a large cloud of dust as a cover before sneaking out to try to get the relic before the 'Cons could leave. Bumblebee thought he was doing a good job when he suddenly felt himself get blasted in the chest.

Jack gripped the game controller tightly in his hands and stared unseeing at the TV screen. There was a screech from the speakers and he was aware of Miko shouting gleefully as his car dove off the side of the track and exploded. The girl contained herself long enough to finish the last lap before going into her victory dance.
"Woohoot! Who rocks? I rock! Eat that Jacko!" she shouted as her lithe form bounced around him.
"You rock Miko," the young man said absently, trying desperately not to look over where Ratchet was closely monitoring the consol. "Best three out of five?"
The girl stopped for a moment and stood there arms akimbo, glaring at him.
"Like, NO way!" she enunciated clearly with a mischievous smirk dancing around

A plasma shot ripped through the peaceful, temperate rainforest night, catching a Douglas Fir full in its bore. The pure white light seared a hole into the half-millennia old tree. Steam billowed up from the injury, the water of the sap preventing the wood from igniting. The tree would live. It had survived lightening strikes, fires, and floods. The hole bored by the weapon was of little long term consequence and would one day house a nest of owls.
Not that the warrior who had fired the shot was really thinking about all that. Arcee ran through the dark woods never taking her eyes off of her quarry. The cold fury that drove her after the fleeing Decpticon rarely left any room for much compassion. Keeping other sentients alive was the best she could manage. The plants would have to fend for themselves.
Hanging BalanceRafael was only nine when it happened. In retrospect, nine isn't that far from twelve. Three years, actually. Three years since it happened. Raf's grades had gotten him noticed again, and his parents were fighting, again. He could smell the alcohol; Dad always had a beer when he was wound up. Oh, but he never got violent. He got angry, shouted yeah (and that'd develop into a niche for Raf when he got older) but he never got physical. His dad was big, grumpy, and kind.More Like This
He'd pick Raf up and bounce him after the fights, grabbing his mom and getting the three of them on the couch. They fought, yeah, but parents do fight. His mom would get everyone something to snack on as they watched a movie to calm down. Raf could identify what kind of beer his dad drank, after so many years and a slightly sporadic menu to memorize. This time it was a weak one, something that he recognized as what the local teenagers drank when hiding at the edge of Jasper. Their town was sleepy, quiet. It hardly ever ra

Optimus Prime walked through the halls of the Autobot base, checking over each of the Cybertronians residing inside. Bumblebee was watching Rafael as the boy drove his remote controlled car around the room. Smokescreen and Jack were discussing some human customs, the new recruit cracking jokes when he deemed fit. Optimus had yet to see the other Autobots, though he was more concerned about one of them.
Bulkhead had left suddenly, disappearing into the farthest corners of the building. That had been expected, as the former wrecker was upset earlier that day. A larger concern was that his human partner had vanished as well.
Optimus stepped into the main chamber, where two other Autobots stood. Optimus greeted Ratchet with a nod, which the medic returned, before Optimus walked over to Arcee. Arcee heaved off of the wall she was leaning on at her leader's arrival. She waited for Optimus to

"I'll give you sorry!!"
Jack tripped over a fallen branch. "Darn it!"
This gave North the time he needed to catch up to Jack, knowing that he couldn't fly without his stick. "Now that I have your attention, let's see if I can beat some sense into that empty skull of yours!" he stood up, lifting Jack by the back of his hoody and started walking toward a small tree stump.
"No! Wait, North! You know I would never do anything to dissobey you!" Jack was digging his feet into the ground, trying with all his might to slow down North's strong striding steps. Emergency Attitude AdjustmentOver the past few days, Chase had been becoming more and more worried about Heatwave's behavior. He was irritable, more so than usual, and was making rash decisions that put himself and the rest of the team in harms way. Chase simply couldn't overlook such behavior any longer. The blue and white police bot's steps echoed down the dark, quiet halls of their abandoned ship as he made his way to the communications room. This ship had once been welcoming, but now it felt hollow and somewhat unfamiliar. Living in the firehouse with their human companions seemed more normal now, in a strange way.More Like This
Stepping inside the communications room, Chase walked up to the controls confidently to begin typing at the holographic keys, sending a message to the only mech he could turn to for help in this situation.
