Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia - a lot of people have found this stock useful, so I thought I'd finally dig through my photos and find some of the others from that holiday. I don't think I've posted them before.

Looking at these, I think I should go on another holiday.

One of those 'decisive moments'. The cat had been following us around, and vice versa. I didn't think I was going to get a good shot of him and then this.

Old Sheldon Churn Ruins. I took soooo many pictures. Just the atmosphere of the many, twisted trees and the architecture made me shutter-happy :)

I'm kind of in two minds about posting this - it's from the cemetary between Bronte and Clovelly beaches in Sydney, so it's actually a memorial to someone's dead loved one. I didn't check the date or the name, but I remember they were a 'beloved mother.'

It's a really striking statue in real life - when we walked past it I was kind of unnerved. In retrospect though, I rather like it. (Not necessarily the photo though!)

On the way to to work I always walk past this block of flats. I can't think of anything exciting to say about them, but they're so regular and even. It's quite soothing.

Bark
:iconfacinus:
Collection by
There are several of these trees near my house, but this was the only instance of the flower growing out of the tree trunk. I like the contrast of the delicate flower and coarse bark.

(Identified by :iconrealityhelix: as a Redbud Tree.)

This is a fairly average collecton of brushes from photos I took in the baltics - I was going to just do bark, but the bark is a bit blah so I figured, why not chuck everything in there?

...my 1st texture pack :XD:

So I've been using Vue 6 Infinite to render 3D scenes, and I wanted to make the trunks of the "default" trees more realistic. Yeah, this can be achieved with mapped picture, but I needed some realistic textures. Today I was walking in a forest, and had an idea; to create my own tree bark texture pack :D so I can use them whenever I want and I don't need to spend time searching for textures. I took some pics and created this pack....and decided to share it with other digital artists; maybe you can make good use of them too. Why not? :P

The pack contains 16 .jpg files.
Sizes: most of the images are 1200×1200px, two of them are a bit smaller.

If you have problems with texturizing (you can see "squares" on the trunks etc...), here's a good video tutorial to avoid such problems ----> [link]

hm what else can I say....enjoy! :XD:

Dedicated to *elpinoy, because he's badass. This picture would not have been complete without his incredible patience, wisdom, advice and constant urging. Thanks, Chester, for pushing me this far. :)

This is Raven, my beloved OC.

I've been wanting to challenge myself for quite some time, and I finally did it. Here's my first go at lineless artwork/painting. It was friggen hard! And extremely time-consuming. I don't know how you people do it. HOW do you people do it?!

I also deliberately chose rather dramatic lighting this time round, cos I normally find it rather tricky.

I don't think I've ever worked this hard on a picture before; I was pushed to my very limits with this. And as tough as it was, I loved working on it. I've learnt so much from this piece, as well. I'm pretty happy with it.

Edit #3: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE DD. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This piece is very close to my heart, so I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate this.

For :iconartgerm: Pepper Project [link]

long time no post!

A little homage to some old work that I still like, and experimenting with a work process I normally save for production storyboard material.

The worst in Pepper is brought forth to bare, under the light of a pale red moon.

I'll call her Black Pepper for now :)

The background I made for Racing the Sky Without the clouds and such. I've noticed there is a severe lack of clean, high resolution, starry night sky stock here on DA, so I thought I would offer mine. I hope it is useful to you.

Terms of Use:
- Free to use in your deviations so long as it is altered and made a part of your picture
- Free to use for prints and other commercial projects so long as it follows the rest of these rules
- NOT to be redistributed or offered on another site as stock.
- A link back in your discription as credit if used
- Please leave me a comment on this deviation if you use to your picture so that I can see :3
- you may use it for artwork posted on other sites so long as it follows the rest of these rules and you still post a link for me to see it
- If you wish to create other stock from it that's fine so long as it is significantly altered into something else (like used in the sky for a scenery stock) and not just changed colour and lighting.

Do not note me Just leave a comment here.

I don't think I'm asking too much. Made in Photoshop CS2.

Thank you.
