Devious Journal Entryi just had a very enlightening discussion in which a white american male was offended by my use of the word "gringo" despiteMore Like This
a) him not speaking a word of spanish (and refusing to acknowledge that a native spanish speaker might know a thing or two about spanish vocabulary)
b) the word not having any actual racial connotation whatsoever
honestly i dream of an utopia where people are not stupid and have at least some semblance of reading & comprehension skills
or at least i dream of a world where i don't have any contact whatsoever with their stupidity
