The Forgotten Portrait - Life afterwordsGarry's POV:More Like This
I remember it all very well.
I remember how it felt. How it felt to slowly crumple into nothing. I never would have thought that relying on a simple thing as a rose could be so vital for my life. And having each petal plucked and thrown to the ground was like suffering a slow and painful death. Seeing each blue petal on the ground made me weaker and weaker, until I could barely stand.
"If you need help I'll come running "
I meant it when I said I couldn't lie, but couldn't tell the truth either. I knew I wouldn't be able to do that, to come running for you. I wanted to, but my body wouldn't let me. It was like vines dragging me down. Away from Ib
And all I heard was, "Loves me Loves me not.. Loves me.. Loves me not Loves me..!"
I was gone after that.
I wasn't sure how death worked in this world. Could you even reach heaven or hell while within the frames? I even wondered about it while wandering the place with Ib and Mary

"Now that that's over with, we can play together forever!"
But he's so cold.
Ib shivered and bit her bottom lip.
She stood right in front of the stem of the once beautiful rose. The bluest rose she had ever seen the blue petals had lead her to this room and the rest had been scattered all about the area. Mary had won she had killed him.
She killed Garry.
Why do I keep telling myself he's sleeping ?
When the rose rots you too, will rot.
So Garry isn't sleeping.
Ib tried to hold back her tears as she slowly knelt down to pick up the empty stem. She rushed over to the little vase filled with water in the room, and she dropped it inside. But nothing was happening. Why wasn't anything happening?
"Please Garry " She whimpered, the tears streamed and stained her pale face. He had saved her life in exchange for his and now she was regretting it terribly.
Don't let his protection go

Make a wish Ib.
Come Ib, make a wish
"Make a wish Ib!"
"Yay! Happy birthday! Wish wish wish~!"
Ib stared at the flickering candles, they looked at her as if they were actually staring at her. The fire, it burned her eyes, as if they were peeking into her soul some how. They reminded her of everything she had lost, everything she had yet to gain why did Ib think so deeply about the silliest of things? Why did she care so much?
She took in a deep breath, and closed her eyes. She felt like she was underwater in the deep blue.
'I wish I wish that'
Ib blew out the candles with a small smile, and looked around as everyone clapped for her. Of course Ami had to ask "What'd you wish for~?"
"I'm not saying anything." Ib hummed lightly and couldn't help but giggle, and Ami giggled in return "Aw, but Ib~"
"If I told you... it wouldn't come true."
Wishes were serious business.
Right after, the cake was sliced and

"It is now my pleasure to present the graduating class of 2010 of Mormington Academy!"
Everyone stood up and applauded, and Ib couldn't help but smile as her eyes surfed the crowds of people. She wished she was standing next to Ami, but they were set up in alphabetical order, so she couldn't stand beside her without ruining the order of things.
Never ruin destiny.
Ib found her parents, her grandparents and her aunt. She waved quickly at them, and somehow that signaled the students to hoot and cheer as they tossed up their hats. Ib simply did the same, letting her hair down and she threw up her hat. It would be a nuisance to find later, but she didn't care. She wanted to try and be happy.
She just wanted to find her happiness.
As all the hats fell down, time seemed to slow as Ib and the rest of the students started to leave and exit. It would be the typical thing, of standing outside to take pictures... receive gifts and hugs from

She had an extra invitation.
They were given six invitations, to invite whoever they wanted to their ceremony, friends, family, anyone.
Ib's mother wanted to invite her grandparents, as well as her aunt and uncle but Ib told her that she was only given five tickets, since they had run out
But in truth, Ib wanted to make sure, just in case, that there was an extra on hand.
...He didn't know what school she went to.
Ib stood in front of her bedroom mirror...the mirror was cracked and broken.
The mirror had been attacked a few years ago when she suffered a fit of rage. A fearful moment where she thought she would be sucked into her own reflection, she would be trapped and in an alternate world. She thought she wouldn't be able to escape HE wasn't there with her without him, she felt that she couldn't escape anything... Her mary-jane had been tossed at the mirror in an attempt to free herself from imaginary bind

It impacted her life forever. Life had been the slowest ever since.
No one understood
"Isn't it great, Ib? We get to graduate soon!"
One of her friends seemed terribly excited about their high school graduation. It would be happening in less than two weeks, and seniors would even be allowed to leave school a week early to prepare for the graduation ceremony that would take place in the following week. It was quite hectic for all the seniors of the school, of course for teachers as well, but with everything coming up in a few days, there was a serious need to think and plot about ones future or who they would become.
Ib's friend, Ami, wanted to become a doctor, was accepted to a great college in a far away state, and already had scholarships and full paid grants for her tuition. She was strangely smart for someone so bubbly and... un-focused?
She reminded her of someone...
Someone she wished she could forget.
