hahaha I always love a shot like this with almost every cosplay or anything. it just such a nice shot, and it really give a different feeling, intakes, perspective, personality...(yea you get the point) to the characters.
excuse my second photo seem a little larger then the first. (if you think this should be seperate into 2 different photo rather then a combine one, let me know. cus i think i will over spam if i have similar shots as 2 different photos lol >.<)
photo from (bird guy*insert name latter*) are by my friend Half *insert icon latter* [yea kind off lazy right now] lol
everything i do i claim as mine. except for my friends works and the creator. ^_^
a lovely preview of my relm arrowny cosplay that i wore to the socal gathering 2010. i've been a fan of tony quan's work for a while and it was a pleasant surprise to shoot w/ him ^^ i love how his works are always so rich in colors @.@.
series: Final Fantasy VI yuki as relm arrowny tony as photographer
More of my cosplay as Lavi from D.Gray-man as seen at Fanime 2006. I'm so glad that Lavi has shown up in the anime, so now people actually recognize what I'm doing! Although cream scarf forever. I hate the anime color scheme; I like stark black and white. It looks cool. I sewed the exorcist coat myself from scratch. I styled the wig from scratch (it used to be wavy and fall past my shoulders), and made the headband (real rattlesnake skin!) My friends helped me make the hammer, which was quite soft and could pretty safely hit people. Which was a godsend, since I had no depth perception! xDDD Pic by Moogleborg, edited by me.
Ahh, this concept of the Bleach characters all in black suits and shades is just so damn cool. Some day, I'm going to get some friends together so we can do a full group like this (and friends, you all know who you are ).
Anywho, I said before that I'm not going to post a whole bunch of cosplay pictures here on dA, and I'm still sticking to that. But this is one of those pictures that I really like, so up it goes.
Khokolotte and me again. When we took this picture, we had just gotten the wigs, and we didn't have our costumes ready yet, so we threw together some dress clothes and called it Bleach Reloaded!
I may or may not post a few more pictures. I'm debating. But for now, enjoy!
Me as Rukia Kuchiki ~Khokolotte as Ichigo Kurosaki
Photo touch-ups also Khokolotte's doing.
Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki belong to Tite Kubo, creator of Bleach
OMG! The paper was too big tp scan!
And after I spent ALL DAY on this pic. The side kinda got cut off
I got real bored after an all day Avatar DVD marathon...
I guess there really isnt any excuse for this crazyness.
BUT AINT IT CUTE!?
LOOIT THE WITTLE MR.APPA!
this is just me, thinking about digital comic book.
to make this work, you just have to clik on the arrow on the screen. you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard too, and it's more convenient, but you have to click on the screen first.
i've done this in a few hours so it's really badly drawn, i was just thinking about the new ways of making comics with all the new tools we have.
sorry about my terrible, terrible english.
done with flash.
special thanks to Trudy Cooper and Danny Murphy from Platinum Grit [link] for showing me the right way.
EDIT: Thanks a lot for the positive feedback so far, it means a lot! I'm really, really pleased when i read that it give ideas, or make some people want to try it. I would like to say that, yes, I've red Scott McCloud books, and yes, they were a great influence for me. I'm not familiar with what he said in detail about digital comics though, some friends just pointed me some things that look very similar in the way of thinking about digital comics. that's not a surprise, McCloud practically shaped my way of thinking about comics. I liked his digital comics based on "infinite canvas" but somehow wasn't fully satisfied with them, so that's why i came up with this. I don't know if he actually submitted something similar, and any hints would be appreciated.
guys i just... i really fucking love this show okay
so here's this giant thing with way too many characters that i spent way too much time on
gosh darnit i had a blast with this one. larry king's head gnomes manly dan and cute biker guy (whose name is tyler apparently?) and shirtless cops and grunkle mothafuckin stan and ma and pa and gideon pouty robbie and wendy and the fucking time baby that shoots lasers and fucking DIPPER AND MABEL PINES christ almighty
I don't usually like Porsches; their style has gone bland with me over the years, but I saw this RAUH-Welt tuned 911 and was so overwhelmed with it's complexity and style, I had to draw it!! This car has been exceptionally fun to draw and colour, and I'm very satisfied with how this one came out Full-view please and thank you!!
Again, original photo taken by Mike Garrett of Auto-Otaku fame.
Lines drawn in Illustrator 1.0 (woopsie, 10.0!!), painting in Photoshop 7.0!
Edit on 2nd June 2010: Wow, a DD, thanks everybody! It's a very pleasant surprise! LOL, I never realised how many thinks that the car looks like a scorpion, or the polarizing effect of the 2 spoilers until now ^^ I finally know how it's like to not be able to reply to everybody anymore, I wish I could, but the numbers of replies is a bit staggering to me, so here's my big THANK YOU to everybody who liked this, faved this, featured this, and shared this! Thank you, thank you very much
I've gotten lots of requests to try out more Pokemon hoodies, so I gave Bulbasaur a go I found it particularly fun because I was trying to think of all the ways I could convert the bulb into a backpack. I settled on having the backpack zip open via peeling back one section of the bulb using a set of two zippers.
I don't know about you guys, but whenever I played the original Pokemon, I always chose Bulbasaur ♥
Gah! My feedback messages are blowing up! You guys are all so sweet! I never imagined this little hoodie would get so much love TAT! Thank you thank you thank you everyone ♥ I'll do my best to respond to as many people as I can, but I just want to thank you for all the wonderfully kind words!
And for those of you curious, yes I made Squirtle too x3!
An animator faces his own animation in deadly combat. The battlefield? The Flash interface itself. A stick figure is created by an animator with the intent to torture. The stick figure drawn by the animator will be using everything he can find - the brush tool, the eraser tool - to get back at his tormentor. It's resourcefulness versus power. Who will win? You can find out yourself.
By this point it was getting late and i was running out of time, so it's pretty much all doodles.
The last two pages i think i drew in five minutes, that's how strapped for time i was. All in all it was a good try, maybe next comic book day i'll get better, who knows. LOL where did the seagull and pelican disappear off to?
I'm probably gonna do another little comic to make up for the four pages i missed, .
