The day began like any other for the ships. As the sun shone down on the port of New York, the docks bustled with life as people went about their business. Dockworkers traveled from one ship to the next to check on their charges’ fuel levels, passenger capacity, lifeboats, and so on. Of course, there happened to be a few stragglers as they tried to wake up in the morning. It didn’t take long for them to wake up from slumber and the day truly began for the City that Never Sleeps.

Ship facts- Most ocean liners are female. I would imagine that female ships are considered gentler than males and are more suited for carrying passengers so humans build ocean liners as females.More Like This

Queen Mary’s Introduction
The day was absolutely perfect as I sighed in contentment. The sun beat down on my decks and superstructure, warming my body with a pleasant heat that started from my funnels and worked its way out across my entire hull.
Personally speaking, I was not one to get very excited about something like the Blue Riband Run, but word of the sleek, new ocean liner that broke my previous record reached my home port and of how she was the new ship in terms of style and elegance.
I had no idea that I would be wron
