Well the music and film industries keep pushing for new laws, so it doesn't look like anyone's getting a break yet.
The assclown that came up with SOPA has now written up PCIPA, or "Protecting Children from Internet Pornographers".
Yup, preventing piracy wasn't a good enough excuse apparently, so now they're using child porn as an excuse to censor the internet and monitor everyone.
At least ACTA looks like it's gonna get kicked out by the EU pretty soon, due to all the protests and petitions.
Politicians may be corrupted and senile as fuck, but if enough people threaten to get them voted out of power, well they can't really argue with that. So keep spreading the word, join protests and at least sign some petitions.
Finally, to fight back against the music, film and other industries that are pushing these laws, you should join Black March and not buy any media for the rest of this month. Don't go see any movies, don't buy any CDs, DVDs or v
On the Morality of forcing RevolutionEdit: I'm done commenting on this rambling mess. On later thought, I should've put a large disclaimer at the top saying that forcing revolution isn't the only way to achieve communism, but ONE way. I'm all for a spontaneous uprising of the proletariat. Trust me on that. I'd rather it be peaceful as well, but I doubt capitalists will ever simply give up their power sans a fight. I think too much. Sometimes lunch can take me several minutes of opening and closing numerous doors in some attempt to spur an idea on when, really, I should just eat a salad and call it a day. However, I spend most of my time thinking about communism instead of, you know, cats or trying not to stare at people as I walk along.
