LonelyIt was silent in the mansion- that sort of padded, heavy silence that made Sanzu want to curl up as tight as she could until some sort of noise broke through and pulled her away from the awful feeling. Instead though she whimpered quietly and sat up. She slid off the edge of her bed and walked over to the light switch, flicking it off.

The moment her room went dark, she felt more at ease. The dark was always welcome to her, made her feel confident in a way. In the dark she always had an escape. As she stood and waited, she eventually heard a tiny voice in her head. It was too faint to make out, but she knew she heard it, felt it, like something gently tugging at the back of her mind. Sanzu smiled slightly, glad to hear what she was waiting for.
