When I was in college a few years ago, I had to make a video of any topic for part of my course. After a lot of thinking, I decided to do a video based on my own experience of having Aspergers.
The video I made took the viewer on a made-up journey into my mind and into the 'Inner World/Universe' that many people with Autism and Aspergers create as a way of escaping reality. As well as this, I touched upon my own experiences such as bullying and having hyperactive senses along with trying to disband some of the stereotypical myths about Aspergers - such as some 'experts' saying we have a lack of imagination and empathy. For making the video, I used all sorts of 'materials' from internet media (videos, images, etc.), Buddypoke, Particle Illusion, etc. before finally piecing it all together on Movie Maker. I didn't finish it completely until gone four in the morning on a college night!
When I finally finished the video, I didn't think it was very good but changed my mind
