Link drew his Master Sword from the sheath on his back. He faced the rising sun, its golden rays illuminating the icy mist that hung suspended above the blood-stained ground. He pushed the tip of his blade into the earth, lowering his body onto one knee. He bowed his head, a single tear rolling down his cheek.
A silent honor, and thanks, to the fallen hero.
Across from Link, was a small hill in the dirt. A long, silver blade had been stuck into it, and a green bandana was tied tightly around its burgundy hilt. A warriors grave for Ike, the fallen leader of the Greil Mercenaries.
Link let his mind wander back to Ikes demise, not all that long ago.
