What's LeftI wrote a song the other day,More Like This
Just to throw it away.
All that's left is the refrain.
I made a castle out of sand,
But left it in the hands of the marching band,
All that's left is the sandy grain.
I created a great raging typhoon,
Only to disperse the clouds far too soon.
All that's left is the drip of the rain.
These things I look back and I see
How truly cruel life can be,
Leaving only what's not worth seeing,
Like the corpse of a once-friend being.
If it were me,
Which it one day will be,
I hope that I can truly say
I built what I've destroyed today.
