This was probably one of my quickest drawings I've ever done. The original was in a notebook, which was completely redone digitally. The energy blast was probably the most challenging to do, but I'm satisfied with what I've done.

and... Don't bother asking why an MMZ reploid is fighting the MMX version of X. If anything, I simply chose to draw that drone because it was the easiest enemy to draw that X could fight.

This took me quite awhile to do, but it was definitely worth the effort. Full view is probably recommended to see the detail.

Enjoy. Comments are appreciated.

And so it returns now starring other well-known main and some obscure side MMX characters. Do you recognize them all? Enjoy.

Hey guys and gals!

As some of you might already know, I'm co-editing a Super Nintendo anthology. This is the 1st page of a 3-page comic I'm doing about Mega Man X for it.

This one is a bit more personal for me, because I pulled from my own experiences playing the game back in 1994. See back it my day, we didn't have this fancy internet stuff to help us out as much as we do now. I spent days trying to beat just ONE boss (ANY boss), because I had to play by trail-and-error. This is the way it should be done, and I think I'm a better gamer for it, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating :P

If you want more information about the SNES anthology, check out this post I did here: despondent-mega-man.deviantart…

I've recently gotten rather addicted to the Mega Man Zero games for GBA. I just bought Mega Man Zero 1,2 and 3 comes out in a few weeks. I've always loved Mega Man to death and the GBA games are absolutely awesome. I meant to make this into a personal poster for myself but I couldn't come up with a decent background... yet. So I made a Wallpaper out of it instead.

EDIT: I fixed the logo.

Chimpo McCrazypants posted a link on my forum [link] to a new mega man remake Capcom is working on that had the coolest concept art I've EVER seen for Mega Man. I had to draw the new cute chibi Mega Man and this is what came from it. Possibly the best line inking I've ever done but I'm only so so on the coloring and background. Oh well. I really really needed something simple to work on to get back into DA since I've been gone for so long and this was perfect. It's good to be updating DA again.

Bass constantly torchered by the lingering presence of his ultimate rival Mega Man.

The blue purple Mega Man sketch in the background I took from a screen shot of the fantastic Rock Man Neo by [link] Andrew Dickman . Then I filtered it up a bit but nothing special.

Confession time: I suck so bad at actually playing anything Mega Man, Mega Man-related, or Mega Man-like...

I took a render of Mega Man Zero and started messing around with the colours and such. I tried to do a "lightsaber" affect by using various brushes.

:iconaverage-hanzo:'s (and sorta my) InkMan!
For his MegaMan: New Tomorrow fan game.

---
His original InkMan design was a small weird little thing, and just for fun I gave it a redesign that I thought would look good, and after some time he wanted to make it the official one! I'm flattered! Which is why I challenged myself to finish this in less than a day.

So his design is based off his original ([link]) that I "stretched." Now he looks like some old grizzled sailor, and still kinda French (which I thought the old design looked like as well.) And since he's supposed to be old, I made him short.

Overall I really like this design, and I would've used him myself if Stardius didn't.

It's OilMan in the art style of MegaMan 1!
Again, instead of the MegaMan 3+ style, I thought this would be funner (and funnier!) His head however was harder than I thought, so I don't think he quite looks the part.
I also decided to go w/the original, non-duck version.

I made this wallpaper from a whole lot of official artwork, mainly from Mega Man Maverick Hunter X and Mega Man X Command Mission. I had the navigators from Mega Man X8, but all in all, I think it turned out awesome. Don't forget to tell me what you think.

"Mega Man X" belongs to Keiji Inafune.

EDIT [05/30/06]: I added Douglas and Lifesavor to the wallpaper, but please don't ask for any X4 characters, I mean really, they're all dead. No offense (I think X4 kicks ass minus the voice acting) but I neither want nor have the space for any more characters.

Mega Man X's Copy from Mega Man X 5's alternate reality spin off, Mega Man Zero I .

+spoiler alert+

he's the final boss, not in that form, in Megaman Zero I, basically it's Zero vs X as you've never seen before. that was about , 5 years ago, i dunno the exact release date of the GBA game, but it rocks and has a total of 4 MEgaman Zero games. the sketch on the back ground, isn't done by me, it was the original sketch i found in the internet, i just wished i had it when i started to sketch this fan art, i just used a picture of X's copy as a reference and it was hard to do, as a result, some of the color, ad armor doesn't match it if you have seen the sketch and original art of X's copy.

i'll post the uncolored version of this in my scraps. and other versions. hope you guys like it.

and to all the MEGAMAN MATRIX members, Happy 7th Anniversary to you guys! i really did this for the webstie, but it's down at the time so i can't upload it just yet, but i really mean it to be for the site. but i have no idea that the 7th yr. of the site was being celebrated. well, god speed MEgaman Matrix!!!!!
