Well I wanted to make a nice energy feeling piece this took me most of last night and this morning to get done so about 8 hours. Renders in Cinema 4D and the rest with photoshop 7. Some intresting wispyness to this, trying some stuff out for focus like the middle being more defined and the outer parts a bit more blurred. It looks just mint on the desktop.
Alrighty then well give it a good fullview, if ya got some time leave a comment or two, and favs are always appreciated guys.
Well more experimental brushing practice, aswell as c4d modeling practice, tried to create somekind of alien gate scene but I ended up blowing it up again with the brushing lol. Took quite a bit of time to do all together, working here and there over the day while I was home. Looks mint on the desktop cuz the brushing goes even more smooth. Hope ya guys like.
Made this in basically a day, lol. I rendered something today, and really liked the render and started to work on this. Notthing big really, just a normal abstract piece, it was done in cinema 4d and photoshop as usual.
here comes my newest submission .
first I was going to add big bunch of 2d to it,
but then thought that it would be 2 chaotic :],
and I like it thisway better. original image is ~2400x3800px.
took 2 days to do :], max & photoshop
like usually. 8 PSD files, ~ 1 GB.
I'd be glad if you liked this :],
I'd like to hear comments 'n stuff,
favs would be nice ...
Meshed and Rendered in 3D Studio. Brushed in Photoshop and 2D in Illustrator.
I'm thoroughly f**ked off with this series as I can't get it to work quite how I wanted in any of the three submissions. Each works well, just that they didnt turn out quite how I wanted
I have loads of cool renders from this project, and an enormously frustrating amount of unfinished near misses (some of which may end up in my Scrapbook)
If anyone really likes these renders and wants to have a crack at doing something better than I have managed (which, lets face it, aint gonna be hard) then Note me and I'll post all eleventyhundred of the concept renders. U never know, something good might come out of it
Right, I'm off to prepare for my 1yr Birthday of being a DeviantArt member!! Weeeeeee!!!!!
Render from 3DS Max. Fractal-esque textures from Illustrator CS. Composed and coloured in Photoshop CS.

Overall I kinda dig the snake skin style vectors which I imported from Illustrator and I like the wireframe like feel of the render. Nothing too solid going on in this. I'm not 100% happy with the line work, I can't help feeling I may have overdone it a tad. I may revisit this and tweak it later.
