Chapter Three : Sparkles
Chirping of birds filled the air, bouncing off of the great oaks and pines, dancing with pleasant sooth to Logan's ears. Dark clouds above started to circle the sun, releasing cool winds to all below them. Shrubs far off shook with wild pokemon munching on berries and playing with others. Two ferret like pokemon ran across the yellow-dusted path, leaves still stuck on their fur as they dove into a great bush filled with purple berries.
Logan held his arm outstretched letting the gold and silver pokeball shimmer in the sun's light. The Mew in his left arm was cradled against his shoulder; her eyes were open and becoming aware of all that was around her. She blinked continuously as she spotted something new every step Logan took with her, some she looked with more interest than others, as though she saw them before.
"So what do you think of this forest, Sparkles?" Logan asked his Mew, tilting her so he could meet her glance. The small pokemon ya

Chapter 6 : Ariel Twist
The sky darkened with pitch-black clouds, a thunderous roar shaking the grounds of the forest. Moisture continued to be absorbed into the clouds, readying for a great shower. Winds start to pick up high, speeds much faster than Ariel Forest was known for. The three-formed party below gazed into the core of the forming storm, unsure of what to do about it.
"This is bad. I checked the weather several times before I ventured out here; none of the stations hinted something like this." The girl looked at Logan with a worried look, pocketing her pokegear. She bent her neck up, tightening the cloth around the back of her hair to keep it from being blown in her face.
"We should probably find some shelter, before any rain picks up… Or worse, hail" the male trainer responded, his hand pressing on the top of his head to keep his hat from blowing away. He watched as the girl nodded her head in agreement.
"I have been through here before, and if I can remember, there

Chapter Five : Camouflaged Hunger
"Ok Sparkles, we had some breakfast and slept a near twenty hours since Travis attacked us, there is no reason you can't hit me a little harder than that" the golden haired trainer taunted.
Sparkles brought her front paw behind her, throwing it as hard as she could into Logan's cupped hands in front of her. He sighed with a friendly smile as he sat in front of his pokemon, his hands barely coming back from the after shock of her assault. Sparkles pounded into his hands a few more times before collapsing onto Logan's left leg. "Heh, twenty hits in a row, not bad for only being a few days old huh?"
"Mew" the small pokemon mumbled, making herself comfortable against her owner's leg like a pillow.
Logan grinned, petting Sparkles in response to her hard work. "I guess Mew is all you can say. Must be that way for other pokemon too. I never really spent time around pokemon; I was always in my house studying them. Its funny, you don't really know them u

Chapter Two : My Starter
Logan sat on the tiled floor with his legs crossed, the glowing egg in his lap. Pieces of shell started to scatter on his pants and the ground, but it was still too bright to see what was breaking the shell apart.
"This is amazing!" Logan said in awe, his hands started to curve around the form breaking away from the shell.
"I'm just curious what it is" James said sitting across from the boy, shielding his eyes with his arm from the light.
"Oh " Logan felt a large piece of shell fly up and smack his cheek, as well as something warm and fuzzy fall on his arms. The glowing finally subsided, pieces of the pink shell scattered everywhere. Logan blinked several times, trying to adjust his eyes to the normal light.
"I don't believe it " James gasped, his arms moving from his face to look at the newborn.
Logan looked down at the furry form now cradled in his arms. It had pink tinted fur covering most of its body, a bright, blonde color cove

Chapter Four : Rhodolite Panic
A reddish-pink glow danced over the young boy's white clothes as he entered the town Rhodolite. The buildings and shops that surrounded him where lined with the gem it was named after, bringing cheery grins to all the red-wearing towns' people. Banners crossed over the streets with red and pink flags, streamers were wrapped around the podiums of churches, stores, and even the pokemon center. The red and pink decorations of this town seemed to be with the festive of one special holiday, and this is why it was nicknamed Valentines Town.
"Hey, that must be the pokemon center!" Logan announced to himself with glee, rushing towards the building with his earlier waken mew clutching to his left shoulder. She blinked and watched his hat lift up a bit, grabbing at his visor with a free paw to keep it from floating away. At the same time she mewed softly, sensing her trainer's excited attitude towards one of the few buildings that she had seen since her life

Chapter 8 : Elements of Understanding
Night time had come quickly, covering the remaining path with a thick coat of darkness; wind picked up again, stronger than before, blowing continuously through the cool eastern part of Ariel Forest. The male trainer side by side with his friends looked up, watching the infinite breezes propel coal-colored clouds across the sky in front of the half-lit moon. Side from the whistling wind, it was calm and quiet; most of the living forest had settled in to sleep for the day, only those that could see well in night wandered in the cloak of shadow.
The young pokemon in her trainer's arms grinned at the sight of a golden light ahead of them, reaching out and ready to engulf those that went to it. It was the town's light, Topaz Tops as it had been named for the stones they used to help roof all the buildings of the town. A myth whispered in the town that only by letting the sun's light reflect across a pure stone of its color will it give in and le

Chapter 7 : Echoing Thoughts
The cave filled with a tantalizing aroma, a barely visible smoke circling around the girl in her sleeping bag. She brought her arm over her eyes to block the morning sun as its rays finally approached her in the darkness of the cave. Mumbles curled on her lips as she realized it was morning, but the aroma of freshly cooked eggs finally tickled her sense of smell.
"That smells good…" she murmurs as she rolled on her side. Her eyelids fell heavy over her blue eyes, trying in near defeat to keep them open. She remembers how hard it is for her to get up in the morning some times, especially when in the darkness such as the cave.
"Yah morning, for now anyway. You know, you sure do sleep late." The girl sat up to her friend's voice, rubbing at her eyes to look up at him. "Still tired? You can go back to sleep if you want. I doubt I will be able to keep myself from your eggs though, they came out pretty well if I do say so myself.
