I was gonna draw Batman as he's my favourite DC hero, but I thought too many people may be drawing him so I decided to draw Watchmen, my favourite DC comic series ever. With great story and great character development Watchmen is no doubt beyond amazing (I still included a Batman cameo in there though). And to adapt it into Scribblenaut's style is just so fun to do, Scribblenauts is one of my fav game series, it still amazes me how crazy you can get with the game. Cant wait to get Unmasked as well.
In this picture we have (From left to right): Batman (The tiny one on the left), Dr Manhattan, The Comedian, Nite Owl, Rorschach, Silk Spectre, Ozymandias, Lynx, Squid.
A fan art of CAPT MURRRICA my favourite Avenger <3 Just watched Captain America The Winter Soldier and loved it! In this artwork I tried to play around with the cold theme of the Winter and also keeping this artwork kinda 'American looking' if that makes sense. I also included elements from the comics like the wings sticking out of Steve's helmet, I always thought it looks better with the wings actually sticking out. Anyway hope you guys like this!
Got into my Professor Layton hype again after playing Ace Attorney Duel Destiny, wait what?! LOL yes I know, sometimes I play something and then start hyping for somethng totally different. WELL not completely different, I mean Ace Attorney and Layton did have a crossover. But yes Ry is strange like that. I remember one time I was watching Batman and suddenly had the urge to look up Benedict Cumberbatch cos Batman reminded me of Sherlock Holmes. ANYWAYS. I hope you guys like this fan art, I put a lot of extra time into this to make it as good as possible, I also made the effort to take shots of various stages in the drawing and will upload a tutorial page to show how this artwork was done, havent done one of those tutorial for ages ^^ So look forward to that. But yes in this artwork I wanted to put Luke as the main focus, as you can see he is playing a Layton 3DS XL (It is not a real thing by the way, I wish), and he seems to be stumped! Lucky for him Flora seems to have figured it out, smart girl. I also want Layton in the artwork but less of a focus, so there you can see him in the background reading a book, who knows what he is reading. Also Im a big fan of the animals in the game, I especially like the robot dog and hamster and the parrot as you can probably tell, they are so adorable and HELPFUL in the games. Speaking of which, do you wanna know which Layton game is my favourite? I love Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, because I am a big fan of time travel, and also this is the Layton game that has actually made me cry, probably the ONLY game that has made me cry ever, the ending.. omg all the feels. So yes there you go, also wanna say thanks to my friend =S-bro for helping me come up with a good name for this piece, Im not the best with coming up with names as you probably already know. THAT IS ALL! Look forward to the tutorial! And if you have read all this then I just wanna applaud you for doing so, I dunno why you even bother reading this massive amount of text! I am actually half trolling and seeing if anyone actually reads this, yes this is in fact a test, testing your patience, an experiment, for my own amusement. OR maybe this itself is a puzzle, why not? You guys like puzzles? Here's a puzzle. And by answering in the comments below I would have seen that you HAVE indeed read all these text, and as an appreciation for your patience, I will come by your page and give you a llama or something ^^, you dont even have to answer it correctly, but if you can then good job you. OK here's the puzzle: "What has a face and two hands but no arms or legs?" YUP! Good luck you smart Ryceballs.
Done in Photoshop. My original size is 4500 x 1238 but I've uploaded a 2000 by 550 for the contest.
So: Superman from Action Comics #1 Aquaman from Aquaman #1 Wonder Woman from All Star Comics #8 Batman from Batman The Flash from Flash Comics Green Lantern from Green Lantern Sinestro from Green Lantern Mr. Freeze from Batman #121 Black Manta from Aquaman #35 The Joker from Batman #1 Doomsday from The Man of Steel #17 Poision Ivy from Batman #181
So, I love Doctor Fate. He's so over powered, and yet in Young Justice they keep that in check with the sacrifice necessary to summon him to our plane. For the background I've drawn him while in The Nexus of the Subtle Realms.
He's a DC character, one of the early members of the JLA, and first showed up More Fun Comics until he got his own publication.
When I saw that notification for the Scribblenauts contest, I started drawing immediately and didn't stop until I was finished! What are the odds, too: I finally caught up with Young Justice yesterday. Anyway, I was going to draw just the Robins, but I like Cass too, and I figured I might as well make the numbers even. Man, I hope multiple characters are allowed.
From left to right (I can never remember the number of Batgirls): Stephanie Brown (Robin IV/Spoiler/Batgirl) Jason Todd (Robin II/Red Hood) Dick Grayson (Robin I/Nightwing) Bruce Wayne (Batman) Tim Drake (Robin III/Red Robin) Damian Wayne (Robin V) Cassandra Cain (Batgirl)
All the characters belong to DC, Scribblenauts belongs to 5th Cell and WB Games. All of the characters have appeared in some issue of Batman.
"Okay, okay, okay! You win! We stole J'onn's cookies!"
I wanted to do something a little simpler with a couple of characters that aren't usually in the spotlight. This might actually be the cutest thing I've ever drawn.
From left to right: Ted Kord (Blue Beetle II) Michael Jon Carter (Booster Gold) J'onn J'onnz (Martian Manhunter)
All three are the property of DC, and appear in the Justice League comics at one point or another (though this scene in from Martian Manhunter #24). Scribblenauts is the property of 5th Cell and WB Games.
My Entry for the 'Scribblenauts Unmasked' contest : fav.me/d6mxbgc I tried combining stylized chibi style with painting in comic style so hope u like it

I decided to try the contest, too...with SHAZAM!!!
Captain Marvel first appeared in "WHIZ COMICS" #2 (1940) published by Fawcett, but due to some legal stuff, his publication stopped in 1953. Later on in 1972, he found a welcome home at DC Comics becoming one of the most popular characters in the DC universe. I drew the "NEW 52" version where he first made an appearance in a back story in "Justice League #7". No longer 'Captain Marvel', he is now only known as "SHAZAM"!
