When I saw that notification for the Scribblenauts contest, I started drawing immediately and didn't stop until I was finished! What are the odds, too: I finally caught up with Young Justice yesterday. Anyway, I was going to draw just the Robins, but I like Cass too, and I figured I might as well make the numbers even. Man, I hope multiple characters are allowed.
From left to right (I can never remember the number of Batgirls): Stephanie Brown (Robin IV/Spoiler/Batgirl) Jason Todd (Robin II/Red Hood) Dick Grayson (Robin I/Nightwing) Bruce Wayne (Batman) Tim Drake (Robin III/Red Robin) Damian Wayne (Robin V) Cassandra Cain (Batgirl)
All the characters belong to DC, Scribblenauts belongs to 5th Cell and WB Games. All of the characters have appeared in some issue of Batman.
"Okay, okay, okay! You win! We stole J'onn's cookies!"
I wanted to do something a little simpler with a couple of characters that aren't usually in the spotlight. This might actually be the cutest thing I've ever drawn.
From left to right: Ted Kord (Blue Beetle II) Michael Jon Carter (Booster Gold) J'onn J'onnz (Martian Manhunter)
All three are the property of DC, and appear in the Justice League comics at one point or another (though this scene in from Martian Manhunter #24). Scribblenauts is the property of 5th Cell and WB Games.
Justice League is my favorite superhero team ever since my childhood days. They were always in my dreams. I love to draw them everywhere, on our walls, doors and papers that I thought they were really coming out to life.
The Justice League originally featured Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Flash (Barry Allen), Aquaman (Arthur Curry), and the Martian Manhunter. Hawkgirl joined the Justice League on Justice League of America #31 in 1964
DC COMICS where justice League appeared:
Brave and the Bold #28 Justice League of America Justice League International JLA 52 Justice League of America The New 52 Justice League and many more : )
So the concept is pretty straight forward. Maxwell summons Super Heroes to help him in his adventures, And here we have Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Batman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Power Girl, The Flash, Black Canary, Hawkman, and Aquaman.
The following characters are featured in the following Comic books:
SuperMan (aka Clarke Kent) from Dc Comic- Superman Wonder Woman (aka Diana of Themyscira) from Dc Comic- Wonder Woman Martian Manhunter (aka J'onn J'onzz) from Dc Comic- Martian Manhunter Batman (Bruce Wayne) from Dc Comic- Batman Green Lantern (aka Alan Scott) from Dc Comic- Green Lantern (also featured in the "Green Lantern Corps" comic) Green Arrow (aka Oliver Queen) from Dc Comic- Green Arrow Power Girl (aka Kara Zor-L) from Dc Comic- Power Girl The Flash (aka Wally West) from Dc Comic- The Flash Black Canary (aka Dinah Laurel Lance) from Dc Comic- Black Canary Green Lantern"Birds of Prey" comic) Hawkman (aka Joseph Gardner or Carter Hall) from Dc Comic- Hawkman (also featured in the "Atom and Hawkman"comic) Aquaman (aka Orin) from Dc Comic- Aqua Man
Done in Photoshop. My original size is 4500 x 1238 but I've uploaded a 2000 by 550 for the contest.
So: Superman from Action Comics #1 Aquaman from Aquaman #1 Wonder Woman from All Star Comics #8 Batman from Batman The Flash from Flash Comics Green Lantern from Green Lantern Sinestro from Green Lantern Mr. Freeze from Batman #121 Black Manta from Aquaman #35 The Joker from Batman #1 Doomsday from The Man of Steel #17 Poision Ivy from Batman #181
So, I love Doctor Fate. He's so over powered, and yet in Young Justice they keep that in check with the sacrifice necessary to summon him to our plane. For the background I've drawn him while in The Nexus of the Subtle Realms.
He's a DC character, one of the early members of the JLA, and first showed up More Fun Comics until he got his own publication.
Superman saved the city from Joker's rocket. Wonder Woman caught the clown. Green Lantern had a bigger...hammer. Batman really liked that popcorn. Superman, Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn is from there own series or Justice League comics.
Soooo happy that I got this done on time. I thought I'd give this a try this is my pic for the Scribblenauts Unmasked Contest. I really couldn't decide what character should help out Maxwell so I went for the classic three of DC characters which are Batman, Wonder Women and Superman coming out of his drawings of them ready to kick some tail.
