The way seemed to take forever. Luke Skywalker ran as fast as he could. Pain continued to explode in his chest, but still, he kept running.
Then he was there, burst through the door and was by her side. His wife was breathing quickly by now. She felt awfully weak in the force. He could feel her slipping away.
"No!", he screamed and dropped to the ground. With tears running down his cheeks, he took her into his arms, holding her beautiful face in his hands.
"Hush, don't speak."
He started to rock her carefully, kissing her face and pressing his face to hers over and over again.
His tears fell onto her clothes and darkened them.
