One of two valentine pegasi I made. I absolutely love these shades of pink. They reminded me very much of bubblegum, hence the name :XD:

She'll be up for sale soon. Keep an eye out for a journal announcing when.

I am just in love with rainbow everything lately. I would have actually made more of these lighter colored guys, but I ran out of yellow and orange gems for their backs D:

These little guys will be up for sale today (April 13th). Here is a journal with more info: [link]

I'm really enjoying coming up with designs and ideas for the bodies of my dragons. I'm a big fan of the filigree designs. The filigree color is actually a very neon purple, but it didn't photograph correctly, and for the life of me I can not color correct it to the exact shade, but it's close-ish. Sigh :(

She'll be up for sale later today, see my journal for more info: [link]

Yup, I'm already doing Christmas stuff! It's so weird... so very weird... this was a commission for one of my sister's friends who wanted earrings for her girlfriend, she sent me an image of a cute penguin with a hat [link] and asked me to make them in earring form, this is what I did :meow: I was told that both of them really liked them, so I'm really happy about it :D I'm slowly trying to get more comfortable with doing animals and eventually I want to try making people, but looks like I'm finally learning to do something other than food XD

The photo was a horrible nightmare to take, I had to take the photo at 3 am (yes, had to, but I don't remember why I had to) with a precarious setting, but it's still decent given the circumstances XD it feels "colder" than the photos I take with natural light, but I suppose that contributes to the Christmas feel.

So if anyone wants anything for Christmas get them asap! I cannot guarantee shipping for anything ordered after October, last year the shipping was extremely slow and some of the things I sent in the first days of November didn't arrive until January :noes: luckily my buyers were very understanding

Technical stuff: All handmade by me with polymer clay, no molds, premades or bought pieces were used. The eyes were painted with acrylic paints. These are stud earrings, you can't see the studs but the penguins are glued to them. The penny stand was made by my boyfriend using his own technique, but *christopher-blake made a tutorial for it: [link]

There's actually a funny history related to the penny stand. Months ago I saw the penny stand *christopher-blake made and I thought it was a brilliant idea, but I couldn't figure how to make my own. My boyfriend saw me stressing over it and asked me if he could help, I showed him photos of the penny stand and he said he had an idea how to make it, and asked me to give him some wire and a couple of tools. I went to the bathroom and no more than 5 minutes later when I came out he had already made the stand. I spent hours thinking about it and he could do it in five minutes :stare: turns out it was very easy but I was over-complicating it, but I'm lucky that I had him there to help me XD

Sushi bracelets remain one of my favorite things to make, ever!!! :iconexplodelaplz: they are so much fun and happy!

This was a custom commission from an Etsy customer, she wanted it as a gift for a small girl so this one is actually rather small, to fit her thin wrist. She requested a sushi bracelet with 6 different sushi beads, and I feel silly for not thinking of it before :stupidme: it was a great idea! The beads were:

1. Miso bowl - I'm really proud of how small and detailed these tiny bowls are, not sure if you can notice in the picture but they are barely 8 mm in diameter. Includes super mini tofy squares, green onion slices and bits of nori in a semi-clear broth.

2. Ebi - shrimp with rice. I'm working on making it more realistic while also keeping it cute.
3. Onigiri - Simple rice ball, shaped like a rounded triangle with some nori.
4. Ikura gunkan maki sushi - rice, salmon roe on top, wrapped in nori. I was inspired by ~Auffallend's roe tutorial to create mine, I need bigger glass beads.
5. Tamago - scrambled eggs on top of rice wrapped in nori.
6. Salmon sashimi - Bright raw salmon on top of rice.

And of course I learned how to make the maki zushi cane using *chat-noir's Sushi Cane Tutorial, like everyone else even if they don't want to admit it XD

MOAR SUSHI

PS pfttttt I just noticed I didn't submit anything for a month... first time I go this long without any new submissions. Sorry :(
PSS My hands are not dry, macro pics tend to focus on every single imperfection XD

I'm currently finishing the tutorial to make these cookies, it should be ready tomorrow :D I hope you'll like it! Edit: It's here! [link]

I took a lot of photos of the mini cookies with several findings that I bought (ebay) and I thought they were adorable, so I put them together like this to show some ideas. I thought they looked great so I decided to post them as a sort of preview to the tutorial, and also to encourage me to finish it by tomorrow since I already wrote I will post it tomorrow :slow: and I can't let you all down!

The cookie jar is actually an old photo, and the cookie bowl looks familiar :eyes: this newer version looks a lot more realistic! I wonder if I should update my avatar...

The cookie bowl is meant as doll house prop, the cookie plate and cookie jar as pendants, the cookie platter can be a pendant or a bracelet, and the cookie tray is a ring :) the cookie plate and platter would also make great charms or cellphone decorations. They will be available when I re-open my stores and commissions :)

Technical stuff: The cookies are all handmade with polymer clay by me, no molds or pre-mades were used. The bowl was also made by me using the techniques explained in my polymer clay bowl tutorial. The metal findings were purchased on ebay and the glass jar comes from a local craft store.
