Girls T-Shirt design commission for Spiral.
Painted in Photoshop CS3

I loved getting to do the combination between the elegant slightly stylised lily and the tiger created from tribal patterns. It kinda gives it a nice Oriental like look I think. To give the tribal a little more depth and make it tie in better with the lily's gave it the light and dark shadows which helped also make it look a little more Tiger like.
Anyway I hope you all like it? :)

This is a little design idea I had to go on a t-shirt or as a kind of logo design.
Drawn in pencil and digitaly painted in photoshop.

I have just tweeked my pic a little by adding a bit of a darker shadow behind the dragons, which now makes them stand out a bit better from the tribal design.

Edited: I have just worked into the pic some more by adding more depth to the dragons. Which should make them stand out a little better. ;)
This will deffinatly be comeing out on a t-shirt of some sorts soon!

I hope you all still like? :)

An interior illustration for Draconomicon : Metallic Dragons book by D&D. I made lots of artworks for this title, so this would be a dragon month I guess:) Stay tuned!

Cover art for the upcoming Tad Williams book "The Dragons of Ordinary Farm" . I made this for the German Edition. They butchered the artwork in the actual cover with big back lights and color correction but this is the original version.

This is the cover art that I made for the book named The Coming of Dragons: The Darkest Age Volume 1 by A.J. Lake

I made this one for the German Edition by Ravensburger. The Editor gave me a complete freedom and I paid her back by giving it all my love:) I hope you like it as well.

I made another one for the volume two and I`ll send it soon.

Grisaille is painting in greys. I loved painting this but thought it has to have SOME color, why I decided to add touches of green to any natural element in the painting. The browns added a bit of warmth to the mural as well. It was very enjoyable working with a very limited palette. Please feel free to comment on this piece. I am curious as to what the draw is to this one.
Thanks ever so much,

i was bored and offered to make a picture for a friend, so he requested flames and dragons... this was the hardest composition ive made so far, and the one im least pleased with, but he asked for it :P i added in the naked ladies because i thought he might like it hehe ;) (i didnt make the ladies from scratch, they were someone elses artwork that i thought was perfect). i might edit this composition tomorrow, not sure...

since i absolutely suck at drawing, i had to borrow other peoples dragon artwork (and the naked lady haha), which i didnt like doing, but here are the links to the originals, and the various photos used for the flamey background :)

THE DRAGONS OF WATER
At the end of the Dark Ages when the cities of mankind grew and the population of Europe had recovered from the Plague the Dragons went into hiding. That proud race, which had sprung from the volcanoes of the Old World, bringing with them the fires of the earth, now sought the security of the gloomy waters. They swam safely along bottoms of the big rivers, and lay sleeping in the depths of great lakes. There they were transformed. Their scales became softer, and their bodies turned ever more aquatic. When the renaissance era came to an end the Dragons were one with the Element of Water. So fishlike were they, that only a few of them could leave the waters for an exerting last flight under the shelter of night. What those few saw in the mirroring surface of their watery refuge, was a vague image of their former glory.

What is that creature that follows your bait up from the lakes and rivers, whose scales gleam brilliantly in the sunlight, and who wriggles despairingly at the contact with the chill morning air? Some say that the dinosaurs turned into birds. Do you know what happened to the Dragons?
