This Week in Fractals - Issue 01How many people remember my weekly "Hot Off the Press" features? As you may know, I had to discontinue them almost two years ago due to busyness in my meatspace life. Well, the hiatus is over. I'm reviving hot off the press with a new name (which I've long though suits the nature of the feature better). The "rules" are still the same: up to thirty featured fractals, all uploaded to dA within in the past week. I'll also be keeping the "feature cap" (number of issues an artist can be featured in, which starts out at five and rises slowly the more issues accumulate), but due to the long hiatus, everyone is being "reset" to zero. In short, having been featured in the old Hot Off the Press won't affect how many times you can be featured in This Week in Fractals.This Week in Fractals - Issue 01 in Personal More Like This

By request I can do free live tutorials on Ultra Fractal. I use Join.me. It's feature that allows you to follow my screen and chat by text. Some teqniques are best explained from my chatroom. Take a look in my gallery if there is anything that looks like something you want to learn and I'll see if I can teach that. I'm not good at abstract stuff, though. Tutorials does not always show a lot of techniques. It can be the thoughts about the effect that is just as important to grasp.
For some tutorials and techniques you will need some preknowledge about Ultra Fractal.
