I got her done a couple weeks ago actually but I wanted to submit this pic to DA at the same time I did Young Luna but I haven't finished Young Luna and now I am thinking of redoing her hair sculpt so I'll just release Celestia now.
Sadly I will have to go into I'm-my-own-worst-critic mode right now.
I am not all that satisfied with how this girl turned out. The white paint is kinda gloppy and creates a rough unnecessary texture that I don't like. The lining on the eyes is also kinda choppy and although her mane is done well, I am starting to not like my choice of mane style for young Celestia and I have actually changed her hairstyle for my Age of the Alicorns: Chaos Rising fanart. She'll have this style for the Ask Accord blog though and anything else that takes place before the events of Chaos Rising. But for the most part, this is heavily based on my design for a younger Celestia as I depict her in said fanfiction.
I do however much like the gold effect on her anklets and collar, that turned out beautiful and the anklets look great. The tail is nicely done also and the pink paint worked well. All in all I guess it's an okay custom, but that white paint isn't working to well for me anymore and I need to change Celestia's mane style.
Her mane, tail, and collar were sculpted with Sculpey III oven-bake clay and her anklets are made out of Apoxie Sculpt which I had to shape around her feet and let harden. After they were fully cured in one day, I sanded them down to the right shape which took a while but they ended up looking very good and the paint job turned out great too. Painting was no small task and I still can't get her darn cutie mark right. Her horn is from the fully-molded plastic pink Celestia that came in that five-character gift pack a while back. I used a bigger horn cuz I depict Celestia with one since she's an alicorn and in my headcanon, alicorns grow their horns faster and longer than unicorns do.
Well that's all I have to say. I'm not that impressed with her but I hope you guys all are.
Her mane is made of Apoxie Sculpt, sanded down, and painted with Apple Barrel acrylics. I had to cut off her horn in order to place the mane on her head and then glue the horn back on through the hole in her mane. Her crown is actually her original one the toy came with but I cut off the sides to make it shaped like how it is in the show and painted it with gold acrylic paint. The anklets and collar are also painted gold. Her wings were painted entirely pink and then I dabbed some purple on and gave it a fading appearance which was HARD to do. I sealed everything that was painted with Mod Podge. I was going to paint the rest of her body the proper shade of pink but I got lazy plus it would mean having to repaint not one but two cutie marks (which would be tough considering the complexity of her cutie mark) and probably even her eyes which I just didn't feel like doing. She turned out good in the end although someday I may feel apt to giving her a second cutie mark like she deserves.
So yeah, that's Cadance and I do like how she turned out my first time around. Hope you guys enjoy her as much as I do!
I redid my Rarity custom as you can see. Not the same one as the first one I did a year ago but I was going to put the mane and tail on the body of the old one. The body of the old one had her horn removed so I could use it for my new Vinyl Scratch custom and I got rid of her old mane and tail and threw them out cuz they weren't too good and now I have an extra hornless Rarity for custom fodder.
This Rarity is a huuuuuuuuuuuge improvement since the last one! I was very proud of how the shape of the mane and tail turned out, it almost looks like OtakuSquirrel level! Well, maybe not that much, but it's pretty darn close! I put a lot of blood and sweat into sculpting them too, there as a lot of sanding and carving done! I think I'm getting used to that though, now I realize the hard work customizers go through but it sure pays off in the end! The paint job is beautiful too! It is just plain purple all around cuz I am not sure I can do the gradients in her hair but the shade is just right and the Mod Podge sealed it off well! Her hair may look too light of purple in this but that's just because of the lighting of my camera.
So anyways, I hope you guys like it and I'm working on Shining Armor and soon Cadance hopefully. I will also see if I can get Rainbow Dash done soon but I might do all of this once I graduate which will be in...............OMG, TWO WEEKS!!!!
A custom toy of Rarity's awesome outfit from Sweet and Elite. I always lean toward making my custom toys into non-standard ponies. Who want a regular Twi when you can have Future Twi? (coming soon!) So instead of using all my Rarity baits to make DJ-P0N3, I decided to do something a little different.
She painted with acrylics, then sculpted with sculpey 3 polymer clay. She's been glazed with a little satin finish sculpey glaze on the clay parts.
She'll be available at conventions and for commission. Price: $40.
I went on a custom toy kick to prepare for Bronycon and here's the first results of some new stuff I've been planning. I was going to make a filly Celestia to match this but didn't think there'd be much demand, so I just made them all Lunas.
These are modified Scootaloos with added sculpey horns. The hair and bib thingy are done with Sculpey 3.
Description is pretty straight the point. Getting on some sleeping ponies, they're easier to make than standing guys so I can sell them for a little less than the more complicated pieces. I want to have a good pricing variety at the table.
Luna is just under 4 inches long. She's made of super sculpey over a foil armature, painted with acrylics, and sealed with spray matte sealer. I also added some shimmery silver over the crown and booties. Luna will be available at BAP.
Crystal Rarity is a particularly special custom for me. I am incredibly proud of her. Her sculpting alone was a huge challenge. Her mane and tail especially made little logical sense, so it really pushed me during her sculpting stage to get her curls to not only move the way Crystal Rarity's do, but to stay there.
I wanted to wait until I was more confident using my airbrush before I attempted this custom, and it definitely paid off. Rarity was painted with my airbrush, using handmade stencils and freehand airbrushing, with details hand painted. A beautiful pearlescent silver paint was mixed for her facets, and she shimmers in the light.
Rarity was made from a Rarity base, sculpted in super sculpey, painted with an airbrush using high quality acrylics, and sealed with mod podge. Everything was done to make her as show accurate and beautiful as possible. As a Rarity lover myself, I take great pride in showing you this custom.

Nightmare Night Derpy Hooves - Fashion Style Custom
Made from a Shining Armour base, sculpted with Super Sculpey, and painted with high quality acrylics.
Derpy was so cute to make! Originally Finnickie asked for a regular Derpy, but I couldn't resist making something a little more special. Derpy's hat is removable (I wasn't sculpting her front hair for nothing) and she comes with gourmet miniature muffins.
I chose to do open wings for Derpy, as they turned out so well on my last custom. I'll probably do open wings as standard now unless closed wings are requested.
I hope you love her . Your OC is on the way also. ---------------- Please comment/fav. It means allot to me. Derpy is for a trade and is not for sale.

I had been planning this custom way back when I first saw leaked images of Diamond Rose because the eyes were pretty much perfect for this. She's been swapped onto a Plumsweet body and had the sculpted parts done with milliput. I then removed her lower eyelashes and painted the rest with acrylic paints.
She's relatively super easy in comparison to Chrysalis so it was nice to work on her.
Here is my show accurate Rainbow Dash with her hair in the correct order, her cutie mark orientated in the correct way, her eyes in the correct style and with her hair styled.
Since I'm kind of lazy and am happy with my mane 6 styled the way they are, when I made this custom, I wanted her to fit with my other mane 6, so I rehaired her vs sculpting and made sure everything was factory printed.
Her head is from the new Crystal Empire single wave and her body is from the Wedding line wave since both the eyes and cutie mark were both printed right. Her hair comes from 4 different Dash baits since they're the right colours, it's just the colours aren't put in properly. I rehaired her to have a forelock, so her fringe could lay properly with the corresponding colours, while her tail is a bunch of carefully laid hair strands melted together at one end to try to keep the colour order right.
If anyone is wondering, this Dash head still has the initials RD on them, indicating it's the same headsculpt as before but with a new eye print, rather than having Pinkie Pie's headsculpt.
Here is my customized White Princess Celestia. Since she was less pink, I did more subtle modifications such as fixing up her eye paint so her pupil is filled all the way, her eyeliner is completed, her translucent wings are coloured fully and her plush removed.
On a side note, I was going to repaint her jewellery completely gold but when I was referencing images of her, I realised her crown and necklace were yellow with gold detailing to match her cutie mark while her shoes were a much lighter colour than her jewellery, which fits with Luna’s design where her crown and shoes work pretty much the same in regards to their respective colour schemes.
All people, who is following my works for a little time now, can see that it is not my first Chrysalis figurine. To be precise, it's the 4th. I noted that people who nowadays visit my DA page, do not really check my older works. She's one of my favorites, I wanted to show her again, however, it wouldn't have been a really creative way of re-posting one of my older works, so I decided to make a new one. On first sight, it may look like her predecessors, but it's way more developed in a lot of little things from the older ones.
I had some paint left over from working on another Derpy commission, so since that color is notoriously difficult to mix and I didn't want to waste it, I made this girl to put up for sale. Her body color is an exact match to the ComicCon exclusive pony released last year, and she has been rehaired in Dollyhair's "Lemonade". I hope you like her ^_^
All of my ponies are painted with high-quality acrylics and sealed with Testor's Dullcote for fullbody repaints, or Mod Podge for eyes/symbol repaints. They are rerooted with nylon "My Little Pony" hair from Dollyhair. Please keep in mind that this is an adult collector's item and thus unsuitable for rough play! :"o
Part two of a commission order for someone :> They'd originally asked for a regular Derpy, but maybe a week or so after they paid we all received the news from the Toy Fair that Derpy is getting her own toy! pictured here So, since making a standard custom would just be redundant, I offered to spruce her up a bit to make her unique. Thanks to the commissioner's suggestion of making a Crystal pony version, I ended up with this.
She's been rehaired in Dollyhair's Lemonade and painted to be an exact match body color-wise to the San Diego Comic Con exclusive, and there is a light dusting of glitter on her hooves, wings, ear tips, Cutie Marks, and tiara.
Started this quite a while back and only got her finished last night after watching the episode! This has definitely been my most complex custom so far and this was the first time I tried painting a different shade for the coat! Her original toy is more on the pink side than her lavender colour.
Also repainted the eyes to be more show accurate, I love how it looks and can't wait to try it out on my next customs!
