Took an old photo of some highway in LA and just painted over it, tried to make it a little more interesting Hope you like it! Original photo - [link] Photoshop cs3, ~7 hours, wacom intuos4. Photos used for texturing.

My first painting on my brand new tiny cute little laptop! [link]
I wanted it so I could paint on the go, and to promote me doing
a bit more writing on my book as well. I figure I will do more work, and
want to play more with it, since I can be mobile. So far I love the hell out of
the little thing!
Should be posting a lot more of these psuedo speed paintings.
Quick edit: I also wanted to state that this was done entirely in a traditional fashion, no layers at all. I did expand the canvas, after starting with just the hooded skull guy, cuz I wanted to add more. And of course the occasional undo, but no effects and no layers! It's been a LONG time since I have done anything like that!
