The reflection of a SD70 on the rail head sits with a loaded coal train waiting for a Ohio Central crew to come and take the train west over its journey over the Panhandle to Columbus, Ohio and on.

Not really a race. The Union Pacific freight slows to stop as a BNSF intermodal charges up Cajon pass. Activity on this piece of railroad almost always seems heavy.

I felt like it was time to pack up my tripod and ND filters in order to shoot architecture the way I did last year. So a few weeks ago I visited my hometown Magdeburg and shot five frames around the university area. Some of my friends call me mad to do a four hour photography tour and return with only one usable image :D

Here is the second image from Frankfurt. When I did scouting, this building quickly got my attention. It's the Deutsche Bahn building. It was the tallest building in Germany from 1978 to 1991, also called Silver Tower. I love its aluminium facade and the rounded corners.
