Beware the MouseThe explosion hadn't happened in the Morgue, but it was close enough. Some of the supporting walls were damaged and there was fallen rubble everywhere. Sherlock lay unconscious with Molly on top of him. She'd pushed him away from the collapsing wall that had nearly fallen in on them both.Beware the Mouse in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
Molly came to and peered in the dust filled air. Lifting herself off Sherlock she began to examine him. He didn't have any outward signs of severe injury. There was bruising on the left side of his face.
"Sherlock?' She touched him gently. "Sherlock, can you hear me?" He gave no response to verbal or physical stimulation.
They were inside the morgue itself. She would have to drag him out into the hall and away from whatever had happened. This was no accident the Spider had told Sherlock that he would kill him where ever and whenever he could. Moriarty was after Sherlock she had to get him away from the threat of further injury and the certainty of Moriarty.
Molly searched Sherlock's great coat, there

"Put him down, NOW!" John shouted in his command voice.
"I WILL shoot you," John shot a round a mere centimeters from the gunman's body, putting a hole in the man's jacket pocket.
The gunman instantly dropped Sherlock on the ground.
"Idiot!" John came forward grabbing Sherlock by his great coat and pulled him close.
"Down on your belly, hands behind your back." John took a plastic tie out of his pocket and zip tied the gunman's hands. Then, just for good measure, he clocked the gunman hard, very hard.
Turning back to Sherlock, going down on his knees, he cradles Sherlock's head in his hands, examining his head wound, searching his eyes for concussion and checking his vitals. John holds Sherlock in one arm, pulling his mobile out and speed-dials Lestrade; shite no reception here.
The prospect of trying to carry or even dragging a long limbed, over sized Sherlock toward the main road so that he could catch a cab or find a signal was daunting. What t

Sherlock was waiting for her response when medical monitors began signaling that there was a life threatening problem.
Medical personnel rushed into the room and Sherlock was pushed out into the hallway. Sherlock speed-dialed John.
"John, its Molly, I need you here immediately. Please, John super-quick."
Sherlock called Mycroft to confirm that the donor heart was in play.
John arrived to find Sherlock shaken and walking nervously up and down the hallway. He hadn't seen this behavior since that night at the swimming pool when John had grabbed Moriarty and told Sherlock to run for his life. Sherlock had told John soon after that he had come to the realization then, that John cared for him. That they would be friends going forward and that John would ever maintain that friendship at all costs. Sherlock had called it a life altering experience that had changed both their lives fore

"To save your life, Sherlock, she did it to make sure that you continued." John stood beside the chair that Sherlock sat in; the chair next to Molly's hospital bed.
Molly had thrown herself at Sherlock coming between a fatal bullet and the man that she had loved from afar for a very long time. The bullet meant for Sherlock had ripped through the lovely young lady damaging her wonderfully generous heart. Extensive surgery had helped repair some of the wreckage. A Berlin heart, an external artificial heart worked tirelessly as it lay upon her chest, doing much of the pumping for her heart as it struggled to heal.
Everyone at Bart's and all off duty police officers had been by to see her. She was much loved by all in the hospital, she knew everyone on a first name basis. Her room was stuffed with teddy bears, rabbits and fluffy unicorns and get well cards. Her room looked like a small gift shop.

John knew a great deal about pain. He'd been traumatized in the war. He'd come back home with most of his bits intact, but his soul had caught tiny fragments of pain that clung to him and tore at him, making him feel ragged and broken.
Then fate had sent him Sherlock; a man of infinite intellect, of unsurpassed intuition, a smart arse with a crooked smile and the ability to twiddle a Glock as well as his violin bow. John had taken the hand of this self proclaimed socio-path and never looked back.
Now amidst the ruin of lives shattered, was Sherlock in pain? His brother Mycroft had died. Not in a governmental charade. Why he'd been brokering deals with the North Koreans for-gods-sake and then crossing a busy street, h

Sherlock took John by the hand as they moved through the dense fog that only allowed a few inches of visibility.
"Where are we, Sherlock?" John asked as Sherlock pulled him quickly along.
"Just a few more meters, come." Sherlock tugged harder.
Finally, the fog moved away from a structure that took up the whole horizon, or what John could see of it. Massive stained glass doors came into view. A wind tossed sea met a rugged shoreline and above imagined constellations moved in swirls that Van Gogh would appreciate. And everywhere mathematical equations, words and pictures seem to frolic across the glass.
"Where the hell...," John didn't finish his statement as he looked closely at the Sherlock that stood in front of him and nearly fell backwards. This Sherlock was just as tall, but he was sixteen or seventeen years younger. His long black curly hair was well past his shoulders and pulled back into a pony tail. He was so very thin. The bombers primary explosion caught everyone in the station by surprise. John and Sherlock arrived just as the explosion happened. Sherlock was ahead of John and was blown against an interior wall as rubble rained down on him. John threw himself over Sherlock as a secondary bomb showered the area with blowing glass shards that ripped through everything.
John got up off Sherlock examined him briefly then immediately pulled him to a sitting position.
"Sherlock, you warned them about the bomber, the explosions. Where are the next ones going to happen? Where, Sherlock? Which exit will be blocked? Hurry, man, we have to get all these people to safety."
"John?" Sherlock was stunned.
John grabbed Sherlock's head between his hands and made him focus.
"Which is the safe exit, Sherlock? NOW!"
"Toward the rear of the building, John, the next bomb will go off in the front."
John stood pulling Sherlock up with him; pushing Sherlock toward the rear of the building.

She had been just another one of John's string of girl friends. They all came and went and left John a bit put down; but unlike all the others she remained. She was not annoyed by John's constant comings and goings. When Sherlock called him out in the middle of the night, she supplied two hot thermos of tea; one with sugar for Sherlock and one without for John.
She was quiet, watched from a respectful distance with little comment unless she saw problems, never ever causing the least bit of upset and was as clever if not more so than John; really extraordinary. She was shorter than John. Her reddish-gold hair was shoulder length and curly, a constellation of freckles highlighted the bridge of her nose and fell down across her cheeks. She was almost child-like in her appearance, small hands and delicate features that shown with intelligence and mirth, but it was her eyes that were phenomenal; a misty sea green that haunted the senses. There's room for a rose or two
My poetry reeks
Something rather dark
But you still love me, don't you?
I'm not a monster, a creature of night
I won't come after you, nor accuse you
I'm just a strange, little wanderer
And I'm having a LOT of trouble
Do you think I spend my days
Writing sick pictures on the walls
Seeing things I should not
Crying myself to sleep each night?
Do you think this?

Breathlessness Marriage was one of those things that you dream about since you're five years old. Every time you would lie in your little twin bed and stare at the light colored ceiling at night you'd get butterflies in your stomach and you'd end up squeaking and making noises similar to that of a baby kitten. You'd play dress up and demand all the little boys to be your husband and they'd all run away and go play cops and robbers instead. When you were a teenager and you would lie in your full bed and stare out the window at night you would get those little twinges in your chest just thinking about this person or that person. You would wonder if they were looking at that same little reddish star right above the chimney of your neighbor's house and if they were thinking of you. Lift me when daylight comes

but shared by oceans be
Wide our girth in years to count
you are more than that to me
I understand this tide

Deliverance Of TheeWere my love to find me from what distant land would he come?Deliverance Of Thee in Free Verse More Like This
If thou wouldst sail the seas and thy vessel hit peril and take on water
Wouldst thou challenge that of manly strength and vigor born to thee
Spreading thine arms wide and cleave the waves and .. swim to me?
That I might take thee to my bosom where thou wouldst find peace..
If thou could ride to me in thy carriage from a great distance
Wouldst thou sense this maidens passions and take leave of thy senses
Your mighty steeds devouring the miles that part our bodies to deliver thee
Whipped here by thy impatience in thy need, wouldst thou..ride to me?
That I might know thy consuming appetite of me and mine of thee
If thou didst not have the sea or wheels and only earth beneath thy feet
And thou refused a harbor to the concerns of thine own time and safety
Wanting only what is hidden to the eyes and heart of any man but thee
Losing yourself in the vision that awaits thee wouldst thou . run to me?

For it is the flower that you seek and not that of the heart
I have seen too many before thee fall at the feet of vain
Here on this day I shall speak of this great tragedy to befall man
For it is of great our grief shared by many a maiden here
That man doest not know his own sense of meaning in love
It is there that would teach thee of lasting pleasures in living
It will not fail thee ever and surely carry thou into lasting passions
Follow these words as I would speak to thee in earnest and of hope
A maiden is not without the dreams of her nights and those of her heart
Felt are the moments when she is in need of comfort and even thy fire
Treasure the chance when she is reaching and wanting to surely feel thee
Never has there been a man to take her heart if he is of fickle heartlessness
Nor has any maiden wanted that of milk and toast in spirit or depth of mind
Fierce is the greatness of a man with the lightening

Gonna show you who you are without the Light.

Will you tell me then that we will have to part,
And leave me to cry?
Where're you gonna hide,

Will you run away to find another guy

That I made up,
Somewhere inside my head,
This madness makes some kind of sense,
I just wish there was some way
To stop it from
Taking over my mind,
Taking over my hands,
Curling around everything that I know,
Consuming all the life that my song would have.
I can't breathe anymore,
I can't hear it anymore,
I've lost what I wanted most,
Reaching for something I was told to want.
I don't want it.
I never wanted it.
I told myself lies,
And now all I get in return are more lies.
Serves me right.
I was never meant to have what I want.
Tell me what to do then.
Make me forget what I desire most,
What I have already lost,
What already digs the knife deeper into my heart.
Make me become the machine
You would have me be.
There is madness everywhere
And only by erasing everything
That makes me who I am
Can this madness be untangled
And the words will finally stop dancing
And maybe the music will come back.

I don't exactly know.
Maybe because you're goofy.
Perhaps its that we are similar.
What about you being there for me?
Or is it because you know how to make me smile.
I may not know exactly,
