Those pictures are the most important to me. They mean something and that is what makes them strong in my eyes.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the people who took the effort to reply to my stupid poll. I'm sorry I didn't reply to you, but I assure you I've read all of them.
What actually shook me out of it were the few comments of people who said that I had to think of them when I was going to sell my dolls. For some reason that creeped the hell out of me and my first inner reaction was "NO! You're not touching my boys!" So that clearly showed me that the love isn't gone yet.
I just have to do my best to not set the bar as high for myself and just enjoy my dolls. This hobby is meant to have fun with, right?

First, I will say that I have traded a doll for a grail doll. I didn't originally want this doll when I started in this hobby but slowly it wormed its way into my heart. And now I am obsessed.
SOOOOOO I am trading one of my dolls for it.
Sadly, I am parting with my Delf Miyu. It was a hard choice but I feel really good about it. I love her to bits but I WANT THIS DOLL DAMMIT. +_+ so it's okay. Plus the new owner is a fan so I'm happy to make the swap. We are shipping on the 9th! I'm so excited.
I cant wait to have my doll in my arms. SO EXCITED.

Anyone, before the other person arrived a mother and her teenage daughter came over to me and my sister. We had our dolls on the table. I brought Plague and Kiki. Brooke brought Shelley and Bambi. They both had alot of questions. Brooke was too nervous to really answer and I dont mind strangers so I answered their questions.

I answered them all. The mother was extremely impressed that I painted plague even though she was creeped out by her. She said she was scary (success in my opinion). She said she was stunning all of them were. And "I am really impressed by you young girls and your creativity"

He was so small and scared. Not only that, but he was half alive and injured as well. Last night there was a huuuge wind and thunder storm here. Then early this morning, we heard crying/screaming coming from the top of our grapefruit tree! After searching, we found a kitten tangled at the top! T___T We got a ladder and rescued him and brought him inside. He had thorns and blood on him, but we took care of his wounds and fed him. He's okay now and sleeping peacefully. How did he get up there?!
Looks like we have another baby to take care of.
I swear, we will never have to actually purchase an animal...they just fall into our care so randomly. o_o;
This is the third cat/kitten that we've recently rescued. You may remember:
Chiba, the abandoned kitten we rescued.
Vincent, the wounded cat we rescued who was shot with a bb gun.
Both are healthy, spoiled and sassy grown cats now. ^___^

Me and my lovely friend *kuroi-carousel have created a group focusing on the "darker" side of BJD photography. We really, really adore this style and have wanted to create a club for it for YEARS, but kind of just assumed it would eventually pop up on its own. Oddly, that never happened...so we finally did it ourselves this weekend!
We noticed there were a couple groups on dA with similar themes, but not quite the style we're going for -- they're more focused on just gore mods and commissions rather than actual story, theme and photography. Our group aims to collect all the beautifully macabre BJD photos here on dA. Photographs and themes that are dark but also artistic and have some depth, not just...green snot oozing out of a dolls face for no particular reason.
Plus, a lot of people who are into this style have no where to submit their work, since a lot of groups don't allow submissions of this theme. So it kind of discourages people's creative minds

Not telling who yet but I will say it's a girl and she is absolutely GORGEOUSS. I'm gonna have to get her a body eventually since I don't think she'll match the Luts resin of my incoming SDF but we'll seeee! Today is the third and final day of the NJCon and it has been SO fun. Yesterday was really the ebst day for me becasue my favorite actors were there (Mark Sheppard and Sebastian Roche). ;aslkdfj so many feelssss lafknsdk DX
I got a photo op with Sheppard as well as his autograph, I was so nervous but I told him Crowley was my favorite and I was wearing my Crowley shirt so when I asked for a hug he gave it to me and told everyone else this was the only one X3 ahhh I love him, and despite Sebastian's obsession with...well sex, he is the SWEETEST thing when you meet him one-on-one.
