Hi there! Thanks for viewing my image.
I am the maker of and model of the costume, Nightingale Armor from the video game Elderscrolls V: Skyrim. These lovely photos were taken by the talented Andrew Snucins Photography, www.andrewsnucins.com.
The Nightingales are the original concept of Bethesda.

I play Skyrim and as I was wondering what costume to make I decided to just go for my favorite one! My character is always in this armor.

About the costume: I began planning and collecting materials in September 2012. Most of it is sewn out of pleather and vinyl which I then treated with black paint, silver spray paint, hot glue, model magic, and way more black paint. I made the pattern by cutting out pieces of paper and holding them up my body to see if they would be the right size and shape. Then I used those paper pieces to cut out my fabric. Very time consuming as I don't have a dress form. One day I'll get one. I completed the costume 4 months later in December.

There's a humble write up on my blog of how I made this costume here: beebichu.blogspot.ca/

Hi thanks for viewing my image. This is my cosplay of a Nightingale from Bethesda's Skyrim videogame. I made everything you see in this photo.

This photoshoot had a very dark atmosphere. I wanted it to reflect the dark lifestyle of the Nightingales and their common saying; "Walk with the Shadows."

I've made this set of weapons for a friend who will cosplay as a warrior from SKYRIM.
This set is made of a steel sword [link] a steel axe [link] a steel battle axe [link] and the Rueful axe [link]
They're all made of MDF wood, and painted with acrylics.

Daedric sword !!!
In Skyrim, I'm playing a wood elf ranger, so my main weapon is obviously a bow, but I'm always carrying my daedric sword too ... just in case ^^ That's the main reason that pushed me into making one replica of it (and also because I find it pretty cool looking).
The base of the sword is MDF, covered with a layer of resin that makes it more tough. And it's painted with acrylics.

Here's some photos of my Rueful Axe, from the game SKYRIM !! It's the axe you can obtain from The Daedra called Vil Clavicus, and it's also the only weapon that can kill Barbas the dog.
I've made it as part of a set of weapons for a friend who will cosplay as a warrior from SKYRIM.

And here is it, my first Stalhrim Dagger :)
Made of 7 separate pieces of resin and polyurethane. Used 7 screws to keep everything together.
Rabbit fur and leather stripes for the handle.
It has a few bubbles here and there still it looks nice.

I hope you like it.
Will do a few more, but it's very time consuming… haah…

weight: 240 grams
length: 46 cm

Here's a short video of it: [link]

This is a close up of what I already uploaded lol

Looks pretty good, added some sharpening just because it looks a bit more fierce with it.

See the Nightingale armor here.

Come on, Karliah, what did you expect Bron to do with it? Just give away the shiny key of awesomeness? Pffft. :XD:

...

Oh well, ok, Nocturnal will have her key eventually. Right after I'm done playing with it...
But really, I couldn't help thinking that Karliah might have done better had she given that key to Brynjolf in the first place. Also, I wonder if you can pickpocket Daedric Princes. Hmm... :plotting:

Empty template of my character sheet for The Elder Scrolls Online, as requested. :D If you use it, I'd appreciate if you credited and/or linked back to this template.

Since I chose to make things needlessly complicated, there are few things that might require some explaining. Firstly, there's a sheet for each of the three alliances - blue for Daggerfall Covenant, red for Ebonheart Pact and yellow for Aldmeri Dominion. Secondly, there are also three different versions of each of these sheets: one is suitable for human and mer characters while the other two are customized a bit for those who play as a khajiit or an argonian (I changed the "skin" to "fur" or "scales", for example). Thirdly, there are two versions of each of these sheets - a .PSD file in which you can customize and edit text/font to your liking, and a .JPEG file for those who don't have Photoshop or have otherwise trouble opening the file. Pick the one you want below!

Want to use these for your Skyrim character? Now you can! 4TheOneWithoutAName kindly converted these sheets to fit both sides of the civil war as well as any neutral parties. You can find the modified sheets HERE. Both .PSD and .JPG files available, as well as options for Argonians and Khajiits.

Some other possibly useful points:

:bulletgreen: Not sure how to fill this? For reference, this is how I did mine:

Character Sheet: Noelie by Isriana

:bulletgreen: The font I used for this template is called Arial Narrow Bold. There are a number of websites from which you can download it for free.

:bulletgreen: Not sure how to get your character's date of birth? The events of The Elder Scrolls Online are set in Second Era, year 582 (2E 582). Just take your character's age, count backwards and you'll have the birth year.

:bulletgreen: How about months and birthsigns? Just this once I'm gonna spare you some googling and list them below for you (in order of Month - Tamrielic Month - Birthsign):

January - Morning Star - The Ritual
February - Sun's Dawn - The Lover
March - First Seed - The Lord
April - Rain's Hand - The Mage
May - Second Seed - The Shadow
June - Mid Year - The Steed
July - Sun's Height - The Apprentice
August - Last Seed - The Warrior
September - Hearthfire - The Lady
October - Frostfall - The Tower
November - Sun's Dusk - The Atronach
December - Evening Star - The Thief

I hope that helped some of you. Now shoo, go fill your own sheets!

Next Divine in the series is Stendarr, the god of mercy and justice. I decided to go for a more Skyrim-ish look because of his Nordic origins and all.

"Come to me, Stendarr, for without you, I might be deaf to the manswarm murmurings of thy people, and forgetting their need for comfort and wisdom, I might indulge myself in vain scribblings.
Be kind and generous to the people of Tamriel. Protect the weak, heal the sick, and give to the needy."

Stendarr is the God of Righteous Might and Merciful Forebearance. He has also been called the God of Mercy, Charity, and Well-Earned Luck, as well as the God of Justice. He is the inspiration of magistrates and rulers, the patron of the Imperial Legions and the comfort of the law-abiding citizen. Stendarr has evolved from his Nordic origins into a deity of compassion or sometimes, righteous rule. After the Oblivion Crisis, an order of holy warriors was founded, one which chose to emphasize their devotion to Stendarr as the God of Justice. The Vigilants of Stendarr are dedicated to eliminating Daedra and any other "abominations" in the name of the divine.

I have a personal head-canon that some sort of Altmer colonies / Thalmor bases were established in Valenwood once it became part of the Aldmeri Dominion.

I edited/referenced a stock photo for the buildings but I lost the link..... :/
