This is my completed Aela the Huntress Cosplay from the video game Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I made every single piece of this cosplay, from sewing the outfit to creating the armor and even doing the makeup, and I'm very proud of myself :)

I'll be at PAX East next weekend wearing this costume on Friday! Hope to see you there!

I'll be debuting my Aela the Huntress (from Skyrim) cosplay at PAX East this year.

I decided to do a quick makeup test, just to make sure everything's in order.

I made a few mistakes, and have some improvements:
- I did the stripes the wrong way, opps!
- I need to use a bit less black eyeshadow - it was so messy
- I also plan on using facepaint at the convention instead of eyeshadow

I'm super excited for this costume and only have a few things left to do!

Photos taken by Desiree Marie of Into The New Photography and Artistry

www.facebook.com/intothenewart…

 — in British Columbia.

Model and costume maker is me, Beebichu www.beebichu.blogspot.com

Universe: The Elderscrolls V Skyrim.

Character: A Breton Dovahkiin or Dragonborn as you will.

I am wearing the Helmet of the Old Gods, Saviors Hide, Ancient Nord Gauntlets (with modifications) and Dragonscale Boots. Weapons of choice: Torch and Dragonbone Bow.

Back in November two photographers, Desiree and Viktoria and I drove into the back country to find a nice Skyrim looking scene as the backdrop for these photos. Not hard since everything is covered in snow. I just completed this set of Worbla armour and since my next con isn't till April a photo shoot was in order!

Hi there! Thanks for viewing my image.
I am the maker of and model of the costume, Nightingale Armor from the video game Elderscrolls V: Skyrim. These lovely photos were taken by the talented Andrew Snucins Photography, www.andrewsnucins.com.
The Nightingales are the original concept of Bethesda.

I play Skyrim and as I was wondering what costume to make I decided to just go for my favorite one! My character is always in this armor.

About the costume: I began planning and collecting materials in September 2012. Most of it is sewn out of pleather and vinyl which I then treated with black paint, silver spray paint, hot glue, model magic, and way more black paint. I made the pattern by cutting out pieces of paper and holding them up my body to see if they would be the right size and shape. Then I used those paper pieces to cut out my fabric. Very time consuming as I don't have a dress form. One day I'll get one. I completed the costume 4 months later in December.

There's a humble write up on my blog of how I made this costume here: beebichu.blogspot.ca/

An alternate version I made when working on something else, changing what's behind Miraak and giving him a Nord sword and staff, since it's before he was given his own by Hermaeus Mora.

Just went through the previous pages I made and wondered why I never uploaded this image on it's own as it is a very nice image. So here it is :)
