Set in a stylized post apocalyptic future, the land has been torn apart by mysterious “Black Flames.” Those who were burned by the flames but survived find themselves transformed into mutants. Many mutants have turned into horrible monsters, and others have gained incredible powers. Some of these mutants have decided to use their strengths to oppress the weak.

The story follows a young mutant with cockroach-like powers named Fallout as she confronts two powerful mutants, Crossfire and Sasscrush. These two hooligans have been sacrificing innocent people from a nearby settlement to a well of Black Flame inside an abandoned cooling tower, which they have dubbed “The Black Torch.”

I have a lot of sketches of her on hand, but I didn't have time to compile them into a giant image. I feel like Deviant Art tends to be more reserved either for compilations or illustrations. I'll have more of her in the near future though, for sure, so stay tuned!

This image was used for an issue of GameFan. I'd hope to get a physical copy at some point. It came out in the summer I think? One of the other alternate covers was a toootally sweet Gravity Rush one also though, btw ;w;/

I'm pretty sure I was given permission to post these images. I guess it's been a while since the issue came out anyway.

Actually, the arrangement for the magazine was a bit different to allow more space for text and title.
