Okay, so the first half of this chapter is gonna be trough Dib's P.O.V. because it's sooo much easier to explain things through his eyes.
Sixteen years ago was the beginning of my end. On the day of my birth I was taken away from a human nursery on the planet Earth and was raised by an Irken service drone in order to serve my one and only master. The drone told me that Master had bought me legally and therefore I was his forever, but I know I was stolen. Human slaves are illegal in every galaxy, and on every planet. Well, besides Earth, but I never have, and never will admit I know that. I don't need another reason for Master to 'correct' me...
On the day of my second year my master, Blin, assigned me as his personal slave. He told me if I was questioned, I was to 'refer myself as his adopted son.', whatever that was... Master Blin uses many terms that I do not understand, but I've learned to never question him, or it'll lead to more 'correcting'.
For the next five years, there

Red sat with a bored expression as he watched Purple stuff his face with doughnuts. His eye began to twitch as he listened to the disgusting sound of the other Tallest's lips smacking together. Finally growing tired of the sound, Red yelled at Purple."Pur, it's been three HOURS. Put down the disgusting earth food that idiot Zim sent and do something productive!"
Tallest Purples' eyes widened comically. He looked down at the sugary treats in his hands and then back at Red. "Bu- but Reeeeed~. They're soooooooo good!" He gave the other tallest puppy dog eyes, his lip pouting adorably. "Earth sweets are soooooo much better than Irks!"
Red sighed and rolled his eyes. "I've known you since we were smeets Pur. That look lost its effect a LONG time ago."
Purple looked close to tears as he reluctantly put the doughnuts down on the ship's control panel. The box of Earth goodies in the corner hit a lever which, consequently, blew up a casino pl

Fuschia eyes blinked themselves awake as cables disconnected from the PAK as it excited it's sleep cycle, forcing the green male back into consciousness. Zim slowly propped himself up in a sitting position before stretching his tired muscles with a mewling yawn, his serpentine tongue flicking out and danced across dry lips.
The Irken swung his legs over the side of the bed and stared at the metal door before him. He desperately tried to sort out groggy thoughts as they flooded into his mind. His first priority was to get his PAK back to full function, but in order to do that he'd need to confront the Blin. He frowned. If he could he would avoid the other at all costs.
But it is crucial if I am to get what I want.
Zim let out a frustrated sigh before he stood up on tired legs. He approached the door, placing his left hand on the panel just as the human had done a few hou

Looking forward at the crescent shaped chair in which his new master was seated in, a confused teen watched from his spot on the round bed as the ex-Elite examined his new lab that had been hidden by a hologram of a wall. The Irken hummed to himself, picking up various objects only to set them back down again. After a few minutes, Zim turned away from his observations in favor of the boy.
“This lab is impressive.” He said excitedly. “It’s a fair size, has a good amount of tools,” he then grinned sadistically. “There’s even chemicals in here I could only dream of using!” Letting out a content sigh, he turned away from Dib and stared into his lab. “With these materials, I could create a whole new era of weaponry for the Armada.” Dib watched silently as the black stalks upon the other’s head wilted slightly. “Or myself.” Nodding his head, the Irken set out to do just that.

The two companions took their time walking back to Blin’s study after the Irken had gained all functions back into his PAK; Zim had laid upon a steel medical bed as the medic drone probed away at his PAK, screaming threats at the top of his lungs the entire time while Dib had stood near the door of the room and watched curiously as the smaller cursed at the other Irken, telling her that if anything were to go wrong he’d take it upon himself to destroy her. The drone worked fast and efficiently and once everything was once again right, she wasted no time in kicking the rude Irken out of the room.
The two walked down one of the halls on the main level of the home. Dib stifled laughter as Zim mumbled under his breath, complaining that the medic had treated his lifesource carelessly. The human watched silently while Zim half heartedly rambled angrily. It seemed like in no time at all that the two reached the small elevator that ascended to the human’s master’s study

Zim had come back down to the holding cells the next day to satisfy his curiosity over the boy’s health. Much to dismay, the human had not improved from his dazed-like state. Upon entering the room the alien let out a slight sigh as his ruby orbs scanned over every inch of Dib’s frail body before he slowly made his way up to the small cage. Leaning his back against the cool bars, Zim stared forward at the grey, metalic wall, reluctant to see the damage he had caused.
The silence in the near empty room seemed almost deafening; the only sound seemed to come from the Irken’s heart as it drummed heavily into his antenna. Minutes passed before the Irken could no longer take the overwhelming silence. “Why is the Dib acting like this?” he asked, a hint of unease slipping past his dry lips. Inwardly the green male hoped for some kind- any kind of response from the other, but as

Dib couldn't help but stare at the scowling Irken seated beside him. He was somewhat confused as to why the ex-Elite put up such a strong argument against his master's proposal, considering he was to be executed for a crime he claimed he did not commit. The teen had watched as Zim challenged Blin, his glare never faltering while he yelled things like, "Have you the brain worms!?", "I am an Irken Elite! Not some kind of service drone!" and "Zim belongs to no one!". Dib was surprised to see that his master responded to Zim's boisterous claims with a smile and calm demeanor, that eventually persuaded the upset criminal to accept his offer. The human forced himself to hold back a snicker when Zim said he'd do it under four conditions, those being that Blin was to pay for the complete restoration of his PAK, give Zim the largest room in Blin's home, complete access to the home's labs, and his own drone. An hour hadn't even passed when the Tallest contacted Zim, giving him the 'okay' to board the Massive whenever he was ready. Zim quickly saluted his leaders and ended the transmission, his squeedily-spooch churning with excitement. He'd finally be able to go home.
After the invader hung up on his leaders, he hastily made his way to Dib's room. His lips tugged into a small smile as he noted the empty food tray next to the cot. His eyes wandered to the sleeping human, a sharp pang of- something, erupting throughout his body. It had been the first time in months that the prisoner had allowed himself such leisure and relaxation, and because of Zim, he'd soon be deprived of it.
Zim shook his head. No. He had warned the stink-beast that he should have eaten and slept long before he contacted the Massive. It was not his fault the human ignored his advice. He'd pay the price for his own mistakes.

Dib stared at Zim wide-eyed in panic as he approached him slowly, backing up a few clumsy steps before bumping into the fence behind him. He looked over his shoulder and eye it, dreading the fact that he had to climb the damned thing if he wanted to avoid the same fate his teacher had met.
After glancing back at Zim another time, seeing that he was getting closer to him quicker than he thought, he turned and faced the fence and backed up a few steps. He drew a shaky breath before running at it and making a leap as he got close to the fence, grunting as he hit it and started his desperate climb.
A screech of obvious rage exploded from the hobbling being that was trailing far behind his escaping form. “IB!!!!” The name practically pierced through the air as wild eyes, even through those contacts, locked onto him frighteningly and his arms outstretched in a dire want to rip the other from the rusty chained fence.

After several minutes of just staring at the computer in complete terror, Dib turned to the platform and headed towards it. He shut off the lights on his way out, the computer’s bright monitor illuminating the room now. His head turned to look back at it, nodding once as if to thank it before stepping onto the plate in front of him. The platform rose again for him to take him back upstairs into the wreckage. Now he had an answer as to what happened and why Zim was behaving like he was. The better question was, would he regret seeing that though; seeing the complete self-destruction of his now former worst enemy and now current worst nightmare?
The thing that made seeing that video so traumatizing was that he had actually grown to some what care about Zim. Yes, they were enemies both out to stop each other at every turn, but before Zim, he didn’t have a reason to get up every day and go to school. Resolve came in the form of first sunlight beaming through the shattered hole that was at one point a window. It immediately melted away the shadows and extinguished the coolness that the night had brought. Everything was completely visible now and revealed to the paranoid human.
However, even after the sun had come up, Dib took a while to convince himself that there wasn't actually anything there, and that it had all just been a crazy delusion in his head. After several more minutes of watching everything around him, he had finally convinced himself that he was alone now, which actually relaxed him and made him realize how tired he actually was. It was too late to try and sleep now though since he had to get ready for another dreadful day of school.
He didn't try too hard, though, as he decided to stay in the bloodied and torn cloths from the night before and only ran his hands over his hair in an attempt to smooth it out. He was far too tired and stressed to be concerned

As Dib stood outside of his home, he couldn't help the overwhelming loneliness that washed over him. After the neighbours reaction, he highly doubted anyone would take him seriously. Not like they had taken him seriously before anyway.
On top of the extreme aloneness, the boy was feeling a massive amount of paranoia. His house had proven to be just as dangerous a place to be now, and after seeing how easily and quickly Zim could infiltrate it, he realized he would never feel at peace inside of it. He would always be looking around himself, checking to make sure he was truly alone.
Dib took only small, slow steps towards the house now, his eyes flicking everywhere as he scanned for any threats. He was quite jumpy now though, so when a small leaf flew by him he jumped backwards a step and let out a high pitched scream. Dib’s hurried pace soon slowed to a steady walk as he got closer to Zim’s base. He delayed getting there as he was both afraid and nervous of what he may find here. He actually started to second guess if this was the best thing to do, but he arrived before he knew it. Once it were visible across the road from him, Dib stopped and stared at it for a short time. He drew in a deep breath, whispering unsure words of encouragement before starting closer towards it.
Zim's base looked pretty similar on the outside, except for where his gnomes keeping his house protected had been destroyed. Though, it did seem to have an eerie aura around it which was something that hadn’t been present in the past.
Dib had made it to the front door now, staring upon it as if there were something fairly interesting about it. In reality, he was just preparing himself for what he was sure would be a quite shocking sight. Finally, he pushed the door open and flicked on the lights wi

Soon all of Zim's tremors just seemed to halt. He pulled himself back up onto all fours, extending his head up with his neck still cocked at an awkward angle so he could see Dib's face. He parted his lips into the grin again, beginning to screech out in a single laughter with that eerie 'e' sound again.
The sight of that haunting grin seemed to paralyze the boy as he slowly let himself down to the floor, wrapping himself in a fetal position as he rocked himself very stiffly as if to comfort himself. Violent shivers also shook him as the cackle rung in his ears as they only intensified the dread he was already feeling.
Zim slowly began to drag himself over to him, seeing him as wounded prey now. His limbs still had trouble taking turns, looking even more like a creature in dire need of an exorcism.
Dib's eyes expanded as the other drew closer to him. He didn't blink now since in his mind, blinking only made him made him more vulnerable than he already was, even though he wo

Everyone in the skool building knew it was a scientific law that when there was Zim, there was always oddities and inevitably, screaming. These screams were usually on resulting in either anger and denial at anything that could have been brought to his attention that he felt were threatening to his position and mission, or from absolutely anything that came out of his arch enemy's, Dib's, mouth. And both these oddities and screams were the very things that defined what Zim was to these humans as much as his PAK defined him as an Irken. He had

I was terrified for a moment when I stepped into the tube. Zim could have been easily tricking me to destroy myself, but it’s been so long. Why would he try to kill me now? Well...you can blame Dib's father on that one.

Dib sat in his usual seat in Ms. Bitters class doodling in his blue notebook. He was drawing ghosts, vampires, the paranormal as much to be specific. He sighed and glanced up to see Ms. Bitters still echoing words of doom in the world and how it will implode on itself.
Dib however, knowing how much he knew about science, that the world wasn't going to end in some explosion, moon crashing into the ocean, or even a big earthquake. It was going to end by something even worse.
The paranormal freak turned his big head towards the right side of class to see the strange green boy. Zim felt him being watched and looked over to see the Dib-human staring at him, once again. He glared at him; having no attention to deal with him. He turned his head back towards the front of the class and

Suppressed memories come flooding back again. Hot tears bubble to the surface and stream down my ivory cheeks. I turn away as I slam the screen down, not wanting to look at it again for a long time. "His name. It was his name."
I hear a voice come from behind, one of a lost love. "Dib-love, why must you abuse my equipment?" My tear burning eyes widen as much as possible. Quickly, I spin my chair around, only to be met with the fusch

Dib opened the door to the Membrane household then tugged the alien inside. He finally relieved Zim of the trench coat wrapped around his head after he'd closed the door. He sighed in relief that had been much harder than he'd expected. The human walked over to the couch to sit down, completely content with letting Zim do whatever until he wasn't high anymore.
"Where are the snacks?!" Zim yelled right before Dib could sit down.
Dib let out another sigh, though this time it was more aggravated. "They're in the kitchen." He replied gently.
"Can we watch a MOVIE?!" Zim asked suddenly becoming very hyper once more.
"Fine what do you want to watch?" Dib asked, rubbing at his temples agitatedly. He felt like he was babysitting a 5 year old.

Dib woke up slowly; he wasn't in danger so there wasn't any need to rush. He could feel a stiff sheet beneath him and heard the lazy beep of a machine next to him. The human remembered this place well, he'd been here many times after his childish fights with Zim. He opened his eyes and stared lazily up at the white sterile ceiling.
"Welcome back Dib." Came a cheery voice from his right.
He turned his head looking at his usual brunette nurse, Patty. The fact that he knew the nurse and exactly which room he was in showed just how many times the alien had sent him here. Though he had no idea how he'd gotten to the hospital this time, he didn't remember limping into the waiting room or being carted off by an ambulance.
"How bad is it this time?" He asked monotonously, lookin

He understood why the irken would come up with that kind of solution...but why did he have to? Why couldn't the alien have chosen something more pleasant like cutting off his finger or something?
He didn't want to kiss Zim because first off he'd never kissed anyone before and didn't plan on it, and second off..this was an alien. He didn't know what horrible and creepy things lurked on the irken's lips.
He glanced at them through his peripheral vision a small shudder of disgust raking through his body. He didn't want his lips anywhere near the irken let alone on Zim's lips.

Always-ZaDr Chapter 2 Dib stood outside the not so conspicuous green house that harbored the irken he wanted to be miles away from. What Zim had said had bothered him..and bothered him..and bothered him..and now he stood there thinking to himself. The alien's demeanor had changed...their usual schedule had been practically destroyed, torn apart, stomped on, then lit on fire. The irken had almost seemed organized in his plot against the human and it scared the teen a little. He bit nervously at his lip piercings, looking uncertainly at the door that was only a couple of paces away.Always-ZaDr Chapter 2 in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
He almost wanted to abort the "mission" in finding out what the irken wanted, though he was a stubborn human. Always-ZaDr Chapter 4 "I can't," Dib said, although his voice shook lightly. He was unsure of himself and that was a rarity. "You can," Zim replied, his claws curling possessively around the breaking human's shoulders. He was so close to victory that he could feel it in his lekku, just one more low blow and he would have his rival on his knees. "Just give in," he said, the dark smirk which was resting on his lips widening with the command.
The human closed his eyes and tried not to make the shuddered exhale he let out too noticeable. Could he give in? No, that was the wrong question. Anyone was capable of giving into anything under the right circumstances. The real question was, would he give in? A very small part of him wanted to say yes
Always-ZaDr Chapter 3 "I already told you that I'm not giving up," Dib growled in response and he felt his hand twitch in the direction of the irken, he craved to choke that stupid attitude out of the alien. At least it was a normal emotion and the irken's body language was in routine. The only thing that was off was that they weren't on the ground throwing punches at each other yet.Always-ZaDr Chapter 3 in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The irken smirked some, that wasn't exactly what he'd wanted the human to say but it was so predictable..so Dib-like. He started to walk around the human's tense form..circling him much like a predator did to it's prey, "Why?" he asked simply, "Why don't you give up Dib-thing?" he asked, being sure to stay in the human's personal space. He was going to tug at this stupid worm-baby's emotions until he broke...the alien was not going to back down this time.
The human gave frustrated groan
Trench Coat-ZaDr Zim stepped out of his house and into the frigid air, wearing his usual uniform. He hated earth winters, they were cold and made all the humans sniffly.Trench Coat-ZaDr in Fantasy More Like This
The alien's uniform was extremely thin and did nothing to block out the chill. Which is probably why he was so cold, but he'd never stoop so low as to buy a human coat. His race however had never heard of a coat before since it was always warm on his planet, so he went without anything to block out the elements. He refused to wraps his arms around himself, this would show that he was cold, and that would be a weakness. The irken walked down the sidewalk, occasionally slipping on a patch of ice or two before regaining his balance.
Dib stepped out of his own home, wrapped up in his warm trench coat. He didn't much like winters either, they were cold and he hated getting sick.
