"We sorta told everyone you let us kiss you," Jessica giggled. "Now everyone wants to."
"There's like thirty of you!" Zim said exasperatedly.
"Want us to line up?" said a girl named Sarah. Zim rubbed in between his eyes and stood up.

Where's My Hero? Chapter 3Chapter 3 (Misaki)Where's My Hero? Chapter 3 in Drama More Like This
Misaki felt weird the entire day.
'I'll get him one day.'
He couldn't stop thinking of what Sumi had said. It almost scared him. He couldn't
shake the feeling that Sumi had a seriousness to the statement, a sureness. Each time he
thought about it, it sounded more and more sinister, but, Misaki thought, it was probably
just his imagination.
'I'm just jumpy because of stupid Usagi-san this morning. Sumi isn't some movie
villain; he was just joking,' Misaki reassured himself, and it helped, a bit.
By the end of the school day he had almost forgotten the comment completely and
instead looked to his night, which he knew would be filled by a particular perverted
rabbit. He expected to walk out of the building with Sumi and see him standing outside
his car like usual.
Instead of the sleek red sports car he had grown so accustomed to, there was a
smaller black car. A

Sumi sipped his tea and sighed, "I'm not stupid, Usami-sensei. We had a deal, and

He leaned back in the seat and smirked at Usagi, "Don't worry, I'll tell you

Usagi sped down the road towards the Usami Mansion in his car. He had already
called the place twice and had gotten increasingly upset at the lack of answer. Now he
was on his third try and still got nothing.
"Dammit," he said again, throwing the phone back.
'I should have known,' he scolded himself silently, 'I was there.'
If Haruhiko had Misaki, if he was too late and Misaki was...
He couldn't finish the thought. His bloody hands clenched the wheel tight and
slammed on the gas. He was aware he was going much too fast but didn't care. He didn't
care that his hand hadn't stopped bleeding, or that he hadn't eaten or slept and felt

he still had so many pages to type for his next book.

his tired brain). 'He's going to get himself hurt.'
He paused, putting down his chopsticks, 'I have to admit that nothing has happened

The phone managed to startle him awake again. The first thing he looked at was the
clock, hoping for a moment that Misaki was calling for a ride.
He shook his head a little

Misaki was getting tired.
Between all the fighting and crying, he had really wore himself out. He couldn't

trouble keeping his eyes open, but he was afraid to sleep.
He looked at the door again.
Haruhiko still hadn't come in.
'Maybe I could move something in front of the door.'

Tanaka stifled tears as he left Misaki's room. He locked it quickly and turned away trying to regain himself. Hearing the sobs from the other side of the door, he had to retreat to the bathroom to avoid anymore guilt.
The whole situation made him feel sick.
Haruhiko had told him not to mention Akihiko's visit to the boy, and to not let him out of his room; both he had followed. Tanaka hated himself for following the directions, but he could do nothing else.
Tanaka had noticed Haruhiko's chase after the boy, but paid it very little mind. Haruhiko must have know he had to give up at some point, at least, thats what Tanaka had hoped. He had thought it was over after Akihiko had told Haruhiko to back off, but lately he had been more obsessed than ever. Tanaka had also noticed a greater despise for Akihiko in Haruhiko's voice as well, but had again hoped it would wear off. He had started worrying after a while, but he had never thought Haruhiko

Misaki once again found himself trapped and panicked in the Usagi mansion.
He had been thrown into a third floor bedroom that Haruhiko had said was
"specifically prepared for him". Misaki had found quickly that it was pretty specific,
and VERY prepared.
The room had a small cafe table near the window with two chairs on either side. On
the table was a beautiful arrangement of roses (eerily the same color he had given to
Usagi when he first met Haruhiko) and a basket of strawberries and cherries. This was
obviously a small attempt to make him feel comfortable or happy, but it gave an opposite
effect, scaring Misaki from going anywhere near the table.
An open closet revealed a line of hung up clothing, all Misaki's size. They were
close to what he liked to wear, some were even exact copies of his clothes at home. It
was all too creepy to Misaki.
'How does he even know my size?' Misaki thought.

Usagi felt sick.
The sun had just set on the city as Usagi made his way towards Sumi's house, and
with each passing moment his chest tightened. Feeling trapped and lost was not something
Usagi was used to.
As he stopped at a street light he reached for his phone and gave the apartment
one final call, hoping Misaki would pick up and all this could be over. Though after a
few second of listening to the continuous beeps, he threw it over on his empty
passenger's seat. It was hard to think that Misaki wasn’t at home, he was always
home at this time of night...Usagi’s hand absentmindedly ran through his hair, and
he noticed his fingers shaking slightly against his skull. He quickly returned the hand
to the steering wheel and sighed.
'Where could he be?' Usagi thought.
He hadn't noticed the light changed until there was a small honk behind him, and
he drove on.
It was all just too much. This wasn't like when Misaki had go

Misaki didn't hear anything that had happened down stairs.
He sat on the floor, staring out of the barred window, watching as the sun started to drift behind the mountains. Bright shades of orange and purple spread across the sky in sunset; it reminded him of Usagi’s eyes.
"Usagi-san..." he sniffed.
He had been crying. After the thought that no one would be able to find him and what Haruhiko would do to him, he broke down in tears. Huddled into the corner, it had to taken a solid 20 minutes to calm down. Now, watching the sunshine fade, he started crying again.
'Usagi's not coming...' he whimpered silently.
Footsteps outside the door interrupted his thoughts. He froze, watching the door fearfully. There was a click, a pause, and the door opened. Misaki breathed a small sigh seeing it was only Tanaka carrying a tray of food.

"Go away," Usagi said, shutting the door in Sumi's face.
Misaki, who had been ambushed by a tired Usagi at the door, yelped as he was dragged

counted on Usagi still being awake after three days of working. Now he was confronted

against the grip of the possessive man.
"You can't just shut the door like that Usagi-san!" MIsaki whined, "and get offa me!"
His whines were cut short as Usagi gripped his hips tightly. He could feel the man
was annoyed with the sight of Sumi so early in the morning (especially since it
interrupted one of Usagi's attacks). Despite the blush that was slowly surfacing on
Misaki's face, he continued to be stubborn.

Dib’s hurried pace soon slowed to a steady walk as he got closer to Zim’s base. He delayed getting there as he was both afraid and nervous of what he may find here. He actually started to second guess if this was the best thing to do, but he arrived before he knew it. Once it were visible across the road from him, Dib stopped and stared at it for a short time. He drew in a deep breath, whispering unsure words of encouragement before starting closer towards it.
Zim's base looked pretty similar on the outside, except for where his gnomes keeping his house protected had been destroyed. Though, it did seem to have an eerie aura around it which was something that hadn’t been present in the past.
Dib had made it to the front door now, staring upon it as if there were something fairly interesting about it. In reality, he was just preparing himself for what he was sure would be a quite shocking sight. Finally, he pushed the door open and flicked on the lights wi

Dib stared at Zim wide-eyed in panic as he approached him slowly, backing up a few clumsy steps before bumping into the fence behind him. He looked over his shoulder and eye it, dreading the fact that he had to climb the damned thing if he wanted to avoid the same fate his teacher had met.
After glancing back at Zim another time, seeing that he was getting closer to him quicker than he thought, he turned and faced the fence and backed up a few steps. He drew a shaky breath before running at it and making a leap as he got close to the fence, grunting as he hit it and started his desperate climb.
A screech of obvious rage exploded from the hobbling being that was trailing far behind his escaping form. “IB!!!!” The name practically pierced through the air as wild eyes, even through those contacts, locked onto him frighteningly and his arms outstretched in a dire want to rip the other from the rusty chained fence.

After several minutes of just staring at the computer in complete terror, Dib turned to the platform and headed towards it. He shut off the lights on his way out, the computer’s bright monitor illuminating the room now. His head turned to look back at it, nodding once as if to thank it before stepping onto the plate in front of him. The platform rose again for him to take him back upstairs into the wreckage. Now he had an answer as to what happened and why Zim was behaving like he was. The better question was, would he regret seeing that though; seeing the complete self-destruction of his now former worst enemy and now current worst nightmare?
The thing that made seeing that video so traumatizing was that he had actually grown to some what care about Zim. Yes, they were enemies both out to stop each other at every turn, but before Zim, he didn’t have a reason to get up every day and go to school. As Dib stood outside of his home, he couldn't help the overwhelming loneliness that washed over him. After the neighbours reaction, he highly doubted anyone would take him seriously. Not like they had taken him seriously before anyway.
On top of the extreme aloneness, the boy was feeling a massive amount of paranoia. His house had proven to be just as dangerous a place to be now, and after seeing how easily and quickly Zim could infiltrate it, he realized he would never feel at peace inside of it. He would always be looking around himself, checking to make sure he was truly alone.
Dib took only small, slow steps towards the house now, his eyes flicking everywhere as he scanned for any threats. Everyone in the skool building knew it was a scientific law that when there was Zim, there was always oddities and inevitably, screaming. These screams were usually on resulting in either anger and denial at anything that could have been brought to his attention that he felt were threatening to his position and mission, or from absolutely anything that came out of his arch enemy's, Dib's, mouth. Resolve came in the form of first sunlight beaming through the shattered hole that was at one point a window. It immediately melted away the shadows and extinguished the coolness that the night had brought. Everything was completely visible now and revealed to the paranoid human.
However, even after the sun had come up, Dib took a while to convince himself that there wasn't actually anything there, and that it had all just been a crazy delusion in his head. After several more minutes of watching everything around him, he had finally convinced himself that he was alone now, which actually relaxed him and made him realize how tired he actually was. It was too late to try and sleep now though since he had to get ready for another dreadful day of school.

The human closed his eyes and tried not to make the shuddered exhale he let out too noticeable. Could he give in? No, that was the wrong question. "ZIM I KNOW YOU'RE HOME, ANSWER THE FUCKING DOOR!" He screamed, trying and once again failing to kick the electronically locked barrier. "DAMNIT!" He yelled furiously as he plopped down on the front step. Why wouldn't the alien answer his door? Usually he at least had Gir try and keep him busy. Dying Tonight-ZaDr Part 2 Dib wasn't worried when the little green alien didn't show up for school the next day or the day after that or the day after that. He just thought the insane alien was working on his latest plan to conquer earth. Of course he wasn't worried at all, that was a feeling he reserved for people he cared about. The mysterious phone call he'd received late that Tuesday wasn't helping with his suspicions. The irken had sounded broken when he'd hung up, almost on the verge of crying; but Irkens didn't cry. He'd never even seen the irken sad or close to being unoptimistic.
Dib gave out a loud sigh, which amazingly went unnoticed by the teacher, and stared at the clock. Ten more minutes and he'd go to Zim's house. He'd vowed to himself that he'd check on Zim today. Not that he was worried

"I'm not being a baby!" Zim protested, digging his heels into the ground to try and stop Dib from pulling him forward. "I just don't feel like telling your father about us! What if he doesn't take it well?"
"Oh, you know he likes you."
"But what if he reacts negatively to the news that his son is well "
"If he really loves me, he won't care if I'm gay." Dib gave Zim's arm an extra hard tug and got him to start walking again. "Look, we need to get this over with. He knows I've been going out with someone. And he thinks you're a very nice, smart person. He's my father; he's going to accept me no matter what."
"Well, okay but if something bad happens, I'm blaming you," Zim said, finally walking on his own. He pulled his arm out of Dib's grip and folded them across his chest.
"And we're going to tell him the whole truth," Dib went on as he opened the door.

Zim's eye twitched and Dib ducked out from under the arm, fairly disturbed. "Okay how do you play it?"
"The first person to get creeped out loses," Keef explained. He ran his hand down the side of Dib's face.
"AH!" Dib jolted back and tripped, falling hard on his back. His glasses tilted and hung off of one ear, looking like they would fall at any moment.
"You lose!" Keef shouted.
Zim laughed at Dib before offering him a hand to help him up. It was currently recess, and bored, the two had decided to talk to an old friend and ask him advice on what they should do. They were regretting it now.
"So basically, we feel each other up and the first one to freak out loses?" Zim asked to make sure.
Keef nodded eagerly.
Zim smirked. "Dib-thing, would you like to play with Zim?"
Dib blushed, pushing his glasses a little further up his nose, and nodded.

"Class is over in ten minutes. We'll get him on the way to lunch." Torque chose a ten-pound weight and started lifting that in one hand, watching Dib with distaste.
Dib finished writing, looked over the paper, and nodded, taking out his laptop to start writing the final draft.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the classroom, Zim was leaning back in his seat with his feet propped up on the desk and a notebook on his knees, mostly doodling instead of writing like he was supposed to be. He glanced at the teacher, but she w

That Dib-child just made Zim so furious sometimes. If it weren't for that monkey, he would have taken over this wretched planet years ago. And it didn't help matters that they were in Hi-Skool by now and Dib was almost seven feet tall. Insanely tall compared to the short Invader. Zim, of course, hated Dib even more because of that.
By now they had reached some sort of mutual agreement; neither was capable of winning their endless battle. They were just too evenly matched somehow. They had also discovered that if either were to be permanently defeated, the other would most likely end up depressed and lose their drive.
So actual physical battles ceased to be about a year ago. Now they just insulted each other across the classroom or threw stuff at each other. No different than any other Hi-Skool rivalry, really.
It was the worst time of the year right now. Winter. Temperatures dropped to below freezing and frozen water fell from the sky. Harsh winds blew. It was

If it wasn't for the fact that they were nothing more than frozen water, which could cause severe burns unless he was prepared. Since he didn't want to take a paste bath, though, he was staying inside where it was toasty warm and waiting until the snow stopped.
GIR was outside building a snowman while MiniMoose looked for rocks to use for the facial features. GIR waved at Zim. "Mastah, come outside! Please?" His voice was loud enough that it was easily heard from inside.
For about the tenth time in the past few minutes, Zim shook his head. "No GIR! The snow can burn me, remember?"
"Then wear a hoodie!"
"A hoodie?" Zim hadn't thought of that. "Computer, my jacket."
Computer threw a red, hooded jacket at him. Its left chest pocket was marked with the irken insignia. He pulled it on and zipped it all the way up, then laid his ante

"Oh, right. Wait, this is oxygen we're breathing?" Zim looked surprised by this bit of information. "Huh."
Dib sighed. "Didn't you pay attention in science class for the last " He counted the number of years Zim has been here, "Five years?"

He shoved his tray of school food aside and took a blueprint out of his PAK, spreading it out and drawing on it, humming loudly, watching Dib out of the corner of his eye.
Dib glanced at him and made a move as if to get up, then changed his mind and relaxed again, looking back at Gretchen. Okay, so the first half of this chapter is gonna be trough Dib's P.O.V. because it's sooo much easier to explain things through his eyes.
Sixteen years ago was the beginning of my end. On the day of my birth I was taken away from a human nursery on the planet Earth and was raised by an Irken service drone in order to serve my one and only master. The drone told me that Master had bought me legally and therefore I was his forever, but I know I was stolen. Human slaves are illegal in every galaxy, and on every planet. Well, besides Earth, but I never have, and never will admit I know that. I don't need another reason for Master to 'correct' me...
On the day of my second year my master, Blin, assigned me as his personal slave. He told me if I was questioned, I was to 'refer myself as his adopted son.', whatever that was... Master Blin uses many terms that I do not understand, but I've learned to never question him, or it'll lead to more 'correcting'.
For the next five years, there

“This lab is impressive.” He said excitedly. “It’s a fair size, has a good amount of tools,” he then grinned sadistically. “There’s even chemicals in here I could only dream of using!” Letting out a content sigh, he turned away from Dib and stared into his lab. “With these materials, I could create a whole new era of weaponry for the Armada.” Dib watched silently as the black stalks upon the other’s head wilted slightly. “Or myself.” Nodding his head, the Irken set out to do just that.

How long has it been: Hours, days, weeks, months? With the missing essence of a clock or window, the human had lost his sense of time long ago. He usually had an idea of what time it was when Zim came to visit him, bringing him food and water three times a day, but after that 'incident', Zim stopped coming. Gir came by every so often, bringing some sort of snack or an occasional meal and sometimes when Zim's computer cleansed Dib of his human filth it would strike up an irrelevant conversation, but besides that he was completely alone.
At first he had expected the alien to come back and torture him or even kill him. But as time dragged on and Zim had yet to reappear, Dib began to get worried. Not only for himself, but for his captor. Was Zim just going to leave him there in that cage to slowly starve to death, or was he just avoiding the human because of what happened? For a long moment, Dib was only met with silence.
Zim stayed where he was, unmoving, keeping his stare glued to the lazily blinking screen.
Just when the boy came to the conclusion that Zim didn't want to talk to him, after all, and that leaving him alone was a good idea, the alien gave a little huff and turned to face him.
“What is it?”
Zim was still tense, Dib could tell, seemingly willing to listen but still bothered by all of this. It glared from the dissatisfied expression in those smooth, green features, a frown pulling at his lips. Dib hesitated, unable to find the right words to say, no matter how much he tried.
“I... about this... I wanted...” He cleared his throat, struggling with the returning embarrassment that quickly colored his pale cheeks. “I didn't mean to upset you. Really, I didn't. If I went too far, I apologize.” Not that Dib really...

Just as Zim had dreaded, Dib's fit lasted well over two hours, which the boy spent curled into a tight little ball on the floor, clutching at his head and occasionally giving a few muffled sobs.
And the entire time, the alien sat with him, watching that he kept breathing and that he wouldn't end up having spasms and injuring himself. It rarely happened, but Zim knew it was probably best to be on the safe side.
At least, Dib wouldn't remember any of this. Once he woke, he would be tired, confused and sometimes, understandably, frightened. That, however, could usually be fixed with a good night's sleep and some distraction.
Of his attacks or whatever happened during them, Dib never had any memories.
And it probably was best that way.
At long last, the boy stirred, a muffled whimper on his lips as he uncurled and rolled over onto his back. Unsteady hands rubbed at his eyes as Dib blinked and tried to get his eyes to focus.
“Finally awake, Dib-thing?”
Zim's voice was low

For the umpteenth time, Zim found himself sighing as he tried to concentrate on the checkups he wanted to do, on the station's operating system. Concentration was hard to hold on to, however, when he found his eyes drifting over to where Dib lay, on one of the padded, pink benches to sleep off the stress. The boy had cried for nearly an hour straight, only stopping when exhaustion got the better of him and the alien had to help move him to a spot where he could rest.
Shaking his head, Zim tried to go back to running system checks while the human slept. There was nothing else to do for the alien.
He managed a full five minutes more before he threw up his arms with a frustrated huff, simply switching the station's main computer on to run a standard diagnosis instead of making a more thorough, manual checkup. Slowly and stealthily, as not to rouse the resting human, Zim drew closer, taking a seat just next to Dib to watch him instead of the screens.

„It's mine now, Zim! Deal with it!“ He cried, skidding around a corner and running towards the large storage rooms. Maybe he could hide in between the boxes and shelves long enough to make good use of the stolen package in his arms. Zim was close on his heels though, easily matching his speed.
The alien caught up with him just when he ran through the open storage room doors. With a roar, Zim leaped forward, knocking Dib over with the impact of his smaller body.
