My RoadThis journal will contain some great photographs of a winter paradise.
On December, a friend of mine, musher known as a legend, the great mentor to me has passed away, I traveled up to the mountains and went on mushing alone (skijoring: cross-country skiing + sled dog, it looks like that: http://i.pinger.pl/pgr221/0fa2234e000267884b460f96/justyna_kowalczyk_10.jpg but with a dog pulling you) with my leader Arnaq. Instead spending Christmas at cozy places, I've been very hardly training cross-country skiing (skate style) alone and with my dog as well. On that month I've been doing negatively physically as well mentally, especially that feeling of emptiness after losing someone where you will never see this person again- sport was absolutely to best thing to help myself to overthink many things and make me to stand on feet properly.
But other than sport by itself I did but that trip was kind of my personal memorial for that musher who passed away. In his name I went on mushing. For

Every year is like a chapter of our lives.
The object of a new year is not a celebration of a new year, nor having a new number displaying in our callendar but it is where we should have a new soul.
To sit down and think over how to improve up our lives.
Also is not a day to cry out loudly how our past year was unsuccessful and impatiently wait when it will be over, start a new, but to learn who we are and how we can move forward.
I'm not here to wish a good New Year Eve since it's not the only day which will decide how our new year will be like… however what I truly wish you guys lots of joy for every day for this year, as well for next year- regardless what is the day or what's happening. Every day is a miracle and a proof of our existence.
Smile to yourself while looking at your image reflected by mirror and don't be shy to say "I love you" to yourself. And lots of love to all livings forms, animals and nature and less interest to mater
My thoughts...Firstly, as always I'd like to express my honest gratitude for all the comments I've received and as well, very important to know for me were about school/courses informations. I don't care if you read this or not but- thank you very much!My thoughts... in Personal More Like This
I would like to state how community flow is really important for me. No, not only for me but to many people. Just many people aren't aware of this.
I think the interactions between the artist and watchers - and whole community relationships thing - is one of the most vital parts that our creations exist. Writers have fans, travelers, artists, illustrators, companies, fashion bloggers etc. and so on. You may call it as a "fanbase", thus I prefer to not call because "fans" and "fanbase" has a lot of negative stereotypes and image about blindly screaming "minors". I'd prefer to name differently, because I do not view them as minors. Absolutely. I view them as an every worthy human on equal worth as the creator and that's a fact. They are just guests to

...and that one, while making a camp at 3 am, exhausted and so frustrated with my failure attempts to make a fire (you won't go to sleep or relax until all chores are done), decided to walk alone on middle of lake, laid down and watched the solar theatre casted by Nature.
"The dogs there were most important for me. I spent a lot of time with them, more than with people and my dog team was clearly part of my soul- since that's just us who work on the trail."

I know! I've been away from DA and other online source due to that I've took care of my real life completely, I've been absent from art and I will try to reply most of notes on dA... but firstly, let me share with my happiest news that I bear with me. As a following update about Dingo's situation. I know, some of you may think by that time he could be on the rainbow bridge... he really could be gone, I could be utmostly depressed and even wouldn't be able to continue my health therapies. Who knows! But life really can surprise us...
As you see, he is still with us. I've been enjoying every single day with him!
Do you remember my last journal update about our Dingo? On that day when I updated, whil

And this IS watercolor painting. 100% watercolor. Kthnxbye.
I've been a lot in traditional art society, and just... I spotted this artwork. No, at the first it was a photograph for me. For really long time I wasn't interested to take a look deeper at that common photograph until I got bothered by loads of people to take a peek on it.
That really knocked me out from chair, is not the fact it's 100% painting but it's watercolor. I've seen 100% photo looking a like acrylics, oils and really mixed medium ways of paintings but... watercolor alone? And that's from simple watercolor "squares" palette.
I'm not really fan of photo-realistic paintings, I do love real life paintings with very artistic touch and with it's own original style... but for this one I have lots of "wow" for this artist to master watercolor on insane level of skill by using simple techni

I was on the train on my way to faraway mountains.
My phone was ringing.
An unexpected call.
All what I remember after picking up is hearing these words: "he passed away".
When you hear that someone close/important to you/you know/ect,, the time feels like has stopped. It becomes a feeling of eternity. That feeling is also similar to the feeling of love but it's on opposite side of mirror.
Someone very important for me has left our world today at the morning.
That feeling…. when you get a call that someone close to you got very ill or had car crash or was busted, you usually feel sad, so worried and have feeling of hope. Or you feel anger. That kind of anger like you want to blame society. Then you ask a lot of questions if everything will be alright with her or him. You feel many emotions from sadness, feeling sorry, being worried and anger. And so on
Schools/Courses (Important: to all USA residents)At the moment I won't write a full journal about it, with details, but I'm really looking forward for useful comments, suggestions and perhaps help. Yes, this time I'll be asking for you all guys for helpful advices- all of it will be about schools/colleges and education in general in USA- as potentially important step for my future. I never been to any school in states despite being a full USA citizen and it will be my first time- especially what my life has shown to me.Schools/Courses (Important: to all USA residents) in Personal More Like This
Which I've been planning for many years and I've lost chance due to my illness.
But for now, we'll start from this....
Has anyone been/experienced or even heard about Gnomon School of Visual Effects?
That's where I'm planning to attend, for one year Entertaiment design (pshh, yes secrectly i do a lot of digital art... just saying that I'm not absolute traditional.) and it's scheduled for 8th July.
However that doesn't mean I'll go on 100% for sure (the final decision of booking will come in springtime) but perh
Commissions WidgetSome of you may aware of the newest released feature by deviantART- that very long awaited widget/module/space for commission on your personal page.Commissions Widget in Personal More Like This
Here is my thought about it, no, actually a serious concern where I posted there- please read it first: http://comments.deviantart.com/1/347788178/2897698997
To add more: in my opinion I am quite disappointed with that new commission module which have quite childlish feeling (devART, IMHO, represents art as entertaiment which is pushing far away from art as a serious profession in our real world /where in effect many people don't take us, full time working artists seriously etc./ besides of Portfolio release where they did a good job. But when money is involved...) and that's pretty much fast-food commission for quick take and out (points, quick modul and price limit).
That addition of the price limit (which is very low) which may suggest to many young people about fixed general idea of price with art into mentality (art has
Is possible to travel?...and perhaps I thought it wasn't possible. Is possible to travel? in Personal More Like This
On this journal I'd like to clarify a few things about travels and the truth with it.
So, let's start from very basic questions or comments from people which I get very often on dA: you are so lucky to be able to afford traveling!, I so wish I were as lucky as you being able to travel or How you can afford? You must have decent finances and the time!
Didn't you happen to think like that? If you did, so that is just a stereotype.
On almost every question or their comment where I explain what it is really and how it's working - it is a big opposite side of mirror what they think. After hearing they get usually shocked, but more in positive way.
Here we go.
Firstly, there is a big difference being a traveler and a tourist.
Secondy, there is a huge difference to travel via third party (travel agencies, school trips, going for trips with a friend, family, organizations, etc.) and lonely, self organized travels. And where you

It goes without saying that a Wacom tablet is a must have for any digital artist or even the hobby art enthusiast. Released early this year the Intuos 5 is available in multiple sizes and proportions, and it includes 60 degrees of tilt sensitivity (50 degrees in small model) and 2048 levels of pressure due to EMR (Electro Magnetic Resonance) technology in the Wacom pen. The Intuos 5 also has touch controls on the drawing surface, allowing the user to manipulate the canvas with multi-touch gestures.
If you know someone that already has a Wacom tablet think about accessorizing! All tablets will need new nibs from time to time. http://blogs

So I've been on a art book buying spree. Each month I've been giving myself a allowance to order art books for study purposes. Many of these books were recommended to me by other artists, so I cant take full credit for the below list. Although I did add in a few personal favs. ^^
Please note, each image is linked up to a URL on Amazon.com where you can purchase the book. I know Amazon is picky about what country can view the materials, if you see a url not working for you let me know and I'll give you the direct title of the book. I didn't put all the titles here just because it would get a bit wordy and I wanted a cleaner format to present this information.
