Taking GameStop Down a PegLast year Moviebob (aka: The Game Overthinker) made a video http://www.screwattack.com/shows/partners/game-overthinker/game-overthinker-episode-41-revolution in which he detailed the bad position the video game industry is in thanks to GameStop. Since the latest Mario, Zelda, and COD games have just hit shelves, I thought now would be a good time to try putting his suggestions into effect.Taking GameStop Down a Peg in Personal More Like This
I'm going to try and use my platform here on DA to reach out to my fellow gamers and recommend that, if possible, you don't buy your big ticket titles at GameStop for the next few months.
I'm not gonna give any lengthy reasons for doing so, all that can be found in the video link. I just personally have issues with GameStop (the company not the employees), and want to do my part to take them down a peg.
So if you can, don't go to GameStop to buy your big ticket titles unless there really are no other stores available to you. Go to Target, Walmart, Best Buy, or buy online. If you need to go to GameSto
Ode to the WiiMy last journal seems to have gone over pretty well. So since the Wii is slowly starting to come to a close before Nintendo's next big console release (The Wii U), I thought it would be fun to talk about games which are for the Wii and which might've been overlooked for one reason or another.Ode to the Wii in Personal More Like This

There are a lot of gems which didn't get any press or were generally overlooked because of excessive amounts of "shovel-ware" titles clouding up retail stores.
The general perception of the Wii is that there aren't any good games for it. Prove the naysayers wrong and check these titles out. The best part? Most of these titles
New Mickey Mouse CartoonsHave any of you been watching these? Animator Paul Rudish (famous for Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack) has been hired to do 19 animated shorts featuring Mickey Mouse and company. The cartoons are, naturally, very graphic and reminiscent of the 1930's "rubber limb" style, but with a modern twist. Here's a sample:New Mickey Mouse Cartoons in Personal More Like This
Sorry fans from other countries, but apparently this is only for American viewership Although I am told that if you install something called ProxMate in your browser you can unblock them for your region...
As of this journal there are 4 of the 19 shorts currently available on YouTube under the names New York Weenie, Yodelberg, Croissant de Triomphe, and No Service.
You know Disney, I don't get you sometimes. After gutting the 2-D animation department back in April (laying off 9 long-standing top artists), and after continuously turning down 2-D animated feature after feature... you're still capa
