Louise was a young girl that loved the sea too much. Every night, as the Moon rose, she would dance with the waves and cover herself with sea foam, completely giving herself to her love to the salty waters of the eternal oceanic river.
Her love for the water and her dances was not ignored by the forces of Nature, and every evening the waves would anxiously wait for her k
GreenAura loved the forest. Every morning before school she would walk through the green realm of life and harmony to bring some water to needed plants and to help any hurt or ill animal.Green in Personal More Like This
Little she knew, the forest loved her back. With passion and desire. Every plant she helped, every animal she helped, only made rhe forest want her more... love her more... the birds sang beautiful songs that worshiped the skies and the earth whenever they saw she was coming, and they would very often bring her fruits and nectars that Aura would gladly accept and eat.
Deers would come out from hiding and lick her beautiful cheeks, making her giggle with delight. She then would check their bodies and remove parasites and take care every wound
It had happened every day during the last two years, but the last few months her visits became rarer and shorter. Whenever she came the animals would cover her of petals and fruits, of caresses and songs.

Vincent was completely uncomfortable. His head throbbed in pain, there was slight discomfort in his chest, and he felt numerous small cuts and bruises all along his body. He could also feel the waves of an ocean washing against his side. The salt in the water met some of the cuts in his side. Introduced to the wounds, the salt gave his body an unpleasant sting, and as he regained consciousness, he gave a sharp inhale of pain. Breathing wasn't right. There was something in his lungs. It felt like some of the salt was in his lungs...as if he'd fallen into this ocean perhaps. He was soaking wet. He could feel it. Breathing hurt. The salt coated his lungs in places, and he felt as if there was a small amount of liquid just introduced to them. Feeling this, he rolled to his side and coughed sharply as his body tried to get rid of the liquid now in his lungs.
"It's about time you're awake!" a voice said. From the sound of it, it sounded young and was female. And though to nor

A couple weeks had passed, and Vince was just lying on the sands of the beach, feeling the sun warming his fur. He was alone. Aestus was out doing something, and had left him alone, though he really didn't need to go anywhere. She'd be back. He smiled and closed his eyes. The feelings of peace were back. He breathed in, and out. He felt the waves rolling over his sandaled feet. The tide already flowed all the way in and likely in the beginning stages of going out. Vince didn't care. He just lay there, feeling the sun against his chest, and the weight of the pendant lying down on his sternum.
He sat up, and held it in his hand, getting lost in his own thoughts. Earlier today, Aestus had shown him hers. There was something weird about it. Normally her necklace not only had her color, and his, but also showed her sisters. Now...those colors were barely showing at all. Aestus gave a theory that becaus

The drink was finished, and an empty glass met the counter. The one behind the glass breathed in and out. He had a pretty blank expression on his face, but if one studied him long enough, they would know he was not having the best day. A downcast look, fist clenched around his mug like nothing else. A clear look of not wanting to be bothered just emanated from this guy.
This was Vincent Kayaan. Lontra, age 18. He pushed the the mug away with an angered and exaggerated sigh. He had been on his own now for a few years. Three to be exact. It was hard enough starting on his own. Some human would look at his leaving the house at only 15 years of age to be strange. In Lontra, it was quite normal. Even a little late in some tribes. What made Vince different, was the fact that he had chosen to leave the Lontra way of life, and make his life in the outside civilizations. In a small town called Araya to b

The environment of the ocean always calmed Vince down. The smell of the salt air, the sound of the waves breaking on the sand, the feeling of the water as it washed against his legs toward him, and away from him as if trying to pull him into it's clutches. He smiled at the thought, but mainly smiled at the simple thought of his lover who lived in it. She was laying with him on the sand right now. Her light blue body cuddled up along his dirty brown body. He didn't know how long they had been like this. Tonight seemed like a very calm night. A night they had not had for a while. Maybe since the first days of their relationship.
They had not gone swimming, had not spoken much, hey just lay on the shore, enjoying each others company. And despite the lack of activity, Vince found himself at peace and very happy. He felt his face slowly fall until it rested on Aestus' head. He wrapped his arm around her waist, scooting

"Vince!" a voice cried out. It sounded so familiar. He could almost see the voice. Who it belonged to. Part of his brain was working to try and figure out who it belonged to. But he didn't have the will. All he really wanted...was to sleep. All other will power was gone. "Vince!" the voice called again. "Come on, Vince! Breathe!" Breathe...He didn't even have the willpower to do that. Yet he felt air rush into his lungs. He didn't inhale such a breath. Something forced it down...it was strange. He felt as if this sensation was so familiar to him...yet it was also strange. Like this was some new level. "Please, Vince! Wake up! Breathe!"
A sharp compression to the chest, and Vince began to cough out the saltwater in his lungs again. He was on the shore, and he rolled over to his side, giving off a series of sharp hacks and coughs as his body once again fueled itself off the air. He felt dizzy, and the saltwater residue made his lungs sting with each inhale he took.

The world passed around Vincent Kaayan in many forms, shapes, and sounds. Time was lost, as was all states of his mind. There was nothing. Nothing but darkness. Darkness and silence. Vince felt nothing, saw nothing, and heard nothing. Was he dead? Perhaps. But it could be said that he certainly didn't feel dead. He didn't feel alive either, but he wasn't feeling dead yet...
Well...if death even had a feeling.
He just continued to drift though his different states of unconsciousness. Lost in a lost world. Lost in thought. Lost in feeling. He didn't know how long it had been like this. How long had he been out. How long had he been sleeping.
How long he had been dead...
It was then that he started to feel. He felt...something. Warmth. He started to feel...more. He heard. He could feel...a slight discomfort. Like a deep pain that discomforted him in such a way to

The air felt very cool to Vince. Very... He was in a very comfortable sleep. He was dreaming. It was a familiar dream, one he had many times before, especially after involving himself with Aestus in this relationship. He was underwater in this dream. Breathing. He could see her clearly in the dark. See her...and stay with her.
Strangely his breathing seemed difficult. As if something was clogging his nose. He gave a mental sigh. He knew he was dreaming. He had likely caught a small cold or something. Strong one be it that. It was very uncomfortable to even try to breath through it. Nothing was getting through. He also felt it strange that he didn't feel completely asleep. He felt...somewhat conscious. Like his brain was half awake for some reason. Even breathing seemed...straining. Like there was something pushing against the chest.

Vincent Kaayan remembered his first kiss. The thrill, the feeling, the environment. The water around him didn't chill him. He also remembered the water being clearer than normal. The taste of her was sweet. He almost felt like he could have held his breath forever right then and there. Her eyes...her beautiful green eyes, they shimmered under the water. Though her fur was shorter, the way it moved with the current, it made her look angelic to him. And she may as well have been an angel. Because to Vincent...she was out of this world. And in that environment, they kissed, their first kiss. Vincent had never before kissed, and he would not have his first kiss any other way...
Vincent sat against a beach boulder, eyes closed, just remembering that day, four years ago. It had gotten a little...dangerous...but it wouldn't be the last time things would happen. Tomorrow would be the day four years ago, that he first met Aestus Tsunamaki. A love unlike any other love. She was...

“You're a little later than you usually are, aren't you?” Vince asked, giving a playful smile to Aestus as her head broke the surface of the water.
Aestus gave a small smile of embarrassment, and replied, “No kiss today for your greeting?” Vince heard that and gave a chuckle, and bent down, giving her a kiss. She then rested her torso on a rock and giggled t him. “Sorry I'm a little late. My sisters and I...well...we found something that with little surprise, has us pretty enthusiastic.”
Vince raised an eyebrow. “Enthusiastic?” He chuckled. When she got excited...she got really cute. She noticed that because his face grew amused, and that got her curious.
“What's so funny?”
Vince noticed his expressions, and shook his head a bit embarrassed. “Nothing, just smiling at you. What did you find?”
Aestus shrugged and said, “Not much. Just an old chest that was our father's.”
Vince chuckled. “

Over the next few days, the word around work quickly spread that the lonely isolated Lontra wasn't so lonely and isolated after all. Most associates took no real interest in it. Mainly the associates who had gotten close to him over the last few months, those who he could really call a friend here took any interest present. Topaz, upon hearing that Vince was in love with a being who once lived in the ocean, was a little skeptical, but she quickly introduced herself to Aestus and they became friends. Aestus, though taken back a bit by Topaz and her very young age, was pretty decent friends with her, and found her amazing in the ability that though she was so young, her mind easily went beyond age.
Kai, when he and Aestus finally formerly met, was still a bit wigged. He was of course, filled with questions. Vince couldn't help but let out some laughter at some of the questions. Kai was needless to say, really taken back by everything that

Kai sighed and looked at his tail. "I was hunting a school of fish and wasn't paying attention. As I neared them, I became caught up in the same net as my prey. The fisherman pulled the net onto their boat, and were of course shocked to see their catch. I am certain by the way they first acted they thought I was a human boy who had fallen overboard, but after they started to open the net to help me out they noticed I was a merman. They suddenly had a change of heart and closed the net and grabbed rope to tie me down. I struggled and was able to get away. Father, I am alive and well. I was caught in a fisherman's net while Lord Kane's men chased me. I managed to escape but was tangled up in net, fell unconscious and was washed ashore. A human female, named Elana found me and has taken care of me, she has been very kind to me and I wish to stay here longer. Not only for her companionship but it would be safer for me to remain on land where Lord Kane cannot reach me. He seems more persistent than ever to rid of me. 'If Lord Alados discovers him, he will kill Kai just as he did my brother when he tried to protect me.' She shook her head clearing her thoughts, she wrapped her arms around herself feeling chilled.
"Something wrong?" He asked worried that his sudden confession scared her. She shook her head. "No, nothing." She said and forced a smile. Kai wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a tight embrace. He frowned, noticing her drop in temperature and that she was shaking slightly.

He thought for a moment, "Perhaps it would be easier if I was out of the water even though I do prefer it." Elana nodded and stood up. "I'll help you up," she offered and stood behind him grabbing under his arms to pull him out of the tub to lay on the floor.

Elana laughed. "Yes, but only if you want to go to town, you need to wear breeches a shirt and shoes."
"You mean go to a human settlement?" He asked curious on what they were like. Elana smiled, "How about tomorrow I'll take you to town? I'll explain some of our customs tonight." The past present and futureSo this is the begging? The past present and future in Free Verse More Like This
This is where the race starts.
The past is behind me.
The present came to quickly and is anything but good
The future lies before me unraveling its secrets too fast and too slow
Still I can’t help but wonder,
Will I reach the finish line the way I am now?
Will I lose my smile?
Will I lose my laugh?
Will my goals change
Will l my heart be stolen?
Slowly I step onto the linoleum and I smile.
All of this fear may seem stupid in the future, but right now it lets me know that I am alive and sane.
The past is behind me which is where it will stay; I will never stray back into those painful memories.
The present is now and not the good one, but then again when has it ever been good this is life.
The future lies before me its path unknown its turns unchosen.
But that’s the best thing about life isn’t it?
It is neither good nor bad.
Instead it’s what you make of it.
