Hello again! It's been a while. Well, this is my version of the Medabot known as Rokusho. I made this because It was part of my childhood, and I saw the Metabee papercraft long ago, (I think the designer should be more known). Anyhow, I just couldn't resist making it.
Arcbeetle from the anime Medabots turned into papercraft!
I know I should have uploaded this a few days ago, but I couldn't make a really fast build. Anyway, there aren't many difficult pieces, just maybe a difficulty with the balance, but it depends on what glue you use.
Many know who she is, if you watched Medabots spirit/Medarot Damashii you know, but in the original story, the games she appears in medarot 3 to the last games medarot dual for 3ds and is a MEDABOT NOT A DEAD MEDAROT LIKE IN THE ANIME.
I really wanted to do a decent artwork about this medabot, is one of my favorite female medarots and decided to make this piece this year, and really was hard because i couldn't find a decent artworks from the games or anime, she is hard to find and the strange thing is she is one of the more popular characters in the games.
The time i used to work this was 7 hours, really long time. Then: Blackbeetle by Rocket company, Imagineer LTD, artwork by
She's one of the bots I really wanted to draw, but not before I drew another certain Medabot, which I haven't even started yet. It might not even become, because as I continue to watch the anime, more awesome Medabots show up. Heh. Arcbeetle... She isn't shown much in the anime, but I still like her.
Medabots is like the 'thing' for me right now. It might change on the 25th though, since that's when Dead or Alive 5 comes out, and I might switch my attention to that for a minute.
This is the medabot that I really wanted to try and draw, since I had a figure of him way back when, and it seemed cool. Now that I did, the design seems kind of strange, and my affection for it has gone down some. [Sigh]
YAY! Finally we can show you the final result of our version of Yoko Ritona by Brandon .
Let's recap :
It was a model that we started in early November 2012 and we finished near the end of January 2013. We print 2 pages per sheet in paper 75 gr and then was laminated with cardboard. This was assembly and filled with clay to help when it comes to sanding. The model was hardened with cyanoacrylate and sanded and polished. Was painted and varnished by hand, plus several extra details were added. Synthetic hair, sunglasses and a wooden base to display her were added.
You missed one of the steps? You can see the progress here :

This is a papercraft model of Jafar's black lamp, based on a 3D model from the Kingdom Hearts I video game. Jafar is a sorcerer who uses his final wish from a genie to become a genie himself. Too late, Jafar realizes that as a genie he will be trapped in a lamp. This is the black lamp of his imprisonment. A template is available here -->[link]
This paper model of Stitch's ray gun is based on a 3D model from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep video game. The gun is full scale and measures about 7"(17.8 cm) in length. The template is available here --> [link] Stitch (or "Experiment 626" as he is called) is originally from the Disney movie "Lilo & Stitch".
oh yeah this was a must build for me i'm a great fan of this Ben10 franchise not only because of the story, more because of the whole alien design specially XLR8 is one of my favorites as i saw on facebook that there exist 3d models from the games i just had to do it
sadly, the one who posted the screenshot didn't or won't react at my offer to build this model for him with full credits like i do when i make a collaboration well, wasn't my problem because Odnamra send me a message with the model so you people can thank him, that you now can download this model
thanks a lot man i guess you saved the day for a lot people here include mine
editing the model took my a while, specially the hands and legs were a bit tricky and had i knew that the model is still that hard, i had edit it a lot more that's why i rate this model with 9 from 10 it's really something for experts i swear and cursed a lot, just to tell you there are a lot of backward foldings and tiny pieces which took a lot of patience
that for, please read the "building process gallery" closely before you start i wrote everything down what could be helpfull for you
also, you can see it, i put a thin acryl pole into the tail the model DON'T stand on it's own but that's shouldn't be any problem
model description: the model will come on 20 pages with 188 pieces and is 45cm tall again, the model is hard and has a lot of tiny pieces i rate it with 9 from 10 so don't underestimate it
build the tail, head, legs, and arms seperately and combine them later
file description: the file contains as always three pdo files one with texture and folding lines one with texture and without folding lines and one white version with folding lines
so you need again the Pepakura Viewer what you can get "here"
all three pdo's are not protected so if you have the Designer, you can edit the sheets in the way you want
also for the non windows user three pdf files lined, lineless and white
and the original texture
that's why it is that big this time
if you have any problems ore questions feel free to ask
to download the model click on the download button on the right side you can thank dA for, that i can't write the direct link anymore
some word to the bloggers
you have the permission to use my photos this model is a Deviantart only download so do not upload this model somewhere else and the most important thing
as i started this model i knew it will be hard and it will take long longer as anything else before but seriously, i never thought that it will took over seven months to finish
and not seven months of lazyness, like the editing and unfolding process no seven months (4-5 hours quite daily) of pure hard work seven months of anger, sadness, depression, distressing, love, fun and joy
i took quite everything into this wonderfull piece i tested out some new techniques of building gain a lot of new experience and discovered some new crafting skills
i build into the night, rebuild the 3D model to get the stabilizators (ok, not that hard but cool technique) and figured out how i can get a 3D effect with clear coat what looks just cool like this special edition artbook from CD's or DVD's
and I think I can say without inordinateness this is my personal masterpiece
when i look at it, it was worth every freaking second and that's it all about building something out of nothing with your hands what you can be proud of i trust me i'm fucking proud of it i get a huge smile everytime i came home and see it my friends meanwhile think, i'm totally nuts because i spend so much time for it but there mouth was falling down as they saw it
i just love this stuff and i love haikai13 that for, that he made this possible for me that's why i don't understand why some people just release the pdo's i mean why I'M doing this because I want the model
i mean it's awesome to see that other people are building your stuff Renamon, Wargrowlmon, Yoshi, the Dead Space Marker, the Clap-Trap you know i love you all that for but please you can build it after i did
ok, now to that what you get with download this model you get freaking piece of insanity with a difficult level from 12 of 10 yeah i know *that is not working* but let me tell you it is hard really hard hard as fu*k
well then, my second Ben 10 papercraft (and for sure not the last ) even the editing was annoying, it was fun to build it there were so many buggy polygones, which were attached into nothing very confusing
the model has a few small pieces (not tiny ) but is not very hard so it shoudn't be any bigger problems here that's also the reason why i made not instruction shots this time again
but i write you a few tips start as always with the legs and arms separate combine the legs with the pieces at page 10
build the head until you reach piece 29 or 30 build the neck (pieces 31a-f and so on) separate later you have still the chance to combine it with the head it's a bit tricky but not very hard
but you can also follow the number count it's up to you
before you close the torso with the piece at page 7 add the two wires (from the backpack to the headphones....or whatever that should be ) first cut the two diamond formed holes into the backpack before you add it to the torso (piece 40 in the pdf) later it's a bit harder (but still possible)
try it first that the wires fit, that you have later no problems to add them you will also notice that the head will gain much more stability when you attach the wires also you have here the chance to align it a bit
by the way, the model need no weight in the legs to stand
